A Deep Run High School graduate and current University of Richmond student won the men's Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k race in Richmond April 20, turning in the best time among more than 24,000 participants. Jordan Bendura, 22, of Glen Allen, and current cross-country standout at UR, finished seven seconds ahead of Stuart Terrill, who ran the race in 30:26. Last year, Bendura finished third in the CRA 10k Road Race National Championships. In the women's race, Ryen Frazier, 27, of Raleigh, crossed the finish line first with a time of 34:44.
