Momentum fading isn't a sign something's wrong with you — it's a sign you've finished a season. In this episode I'm recording inside a podcast studio I built for myself, sharing how I moved through a hardcore spring of building tools into the slower work of launching and marketing. We talk about why staying too long in any season leads to stagnation, how hyper focus becomes self-sabotage if you don't wield it, and the one simple question that shifts your identity when you feel stuck. If you've been doubling down on what used to work and wondering why it isn't landing, press play.In this episode:Why losing your momentum means you've finished a season, not failed at oneHow hyper focus turns into self abuse when you forget you have a bodyThe reason doubling down on what used to work keeps you stuck in the transitionHow every season change is secretly an identity shiftThe one simple question that opens the portal to your next identity shiftLinks:Easy Peasy Podcast Studio - https://www.secretowlsociety.org/shop/p/easy-peasy-podcast-studioEasy Peasy Mockups — https://www.secretowlsociety.org/shop/p/easy-peasy-mockupsThe Sacred Pause dashboard — https://www.secretowlsociety.org/shop/p/the-sacred-pauseSay Yes to Desire (group coaching) — https://www.secretowlsociety.org/desire

Send us Fan MailGraduation can look like freedom, excitement, and a fresh start — but for many teens and young adults, it can also feel confusing, lonely, and overwhelming once the structure of high school disappears. In this episode, I use the analogy of high school as a “zoo” and adulthood as “the wild” to explain why the transition after graduation can feel so hard, even for teens who were excited to leave. For 12 years, students have bells, schedules, teachers, parents, and routines helping guide their days. Then suddenly, after graduation, they are expected to make decisions, manage time, handle loneliness, advocate for themselves, and figure out what to do when things feel harder than expected. I also talk about why we need to begin building independence, problem-solving, and emotional resilience long before senior year. This episode is a reminder that feeling homesick, unsure, or overwhelmed during the launch into adulthood does not mean your teen is failing. It means they are learning how to live in the wild. You can also grab my “Am I Normal?” Reality Check Guide and learn more about my Resilient Launch support for high school seniors, college freshmen, and young adults navigating this big transition. In this sermon, Pastor Jordan preached from Acts 5:17-26. As the apostles faced opposition, imprisonment, and pressure to stop preaching the Gospel, God miraculously opened the prison doors and sent them right back to continue the mission. What opposition in your life has started to feel bigger or more permanent than God? Through this passage, we're reminded that opposition never has the final word because God is always more powerful and more permanent than what stands against Him. Watch the full sermon to learn more!
