In Exodus 19, the Israelites arrive at Mount Sinai three months after leaving Egypt. God calls Moses to the mountain and instructs him to tell the people that, if they obey His covenant, they will be His treasured possession and a holy nation. God makes an unbelievable invitation — "I will make you a kingdom of priests." The question is, will the people obey Him in faith? Or, reject Him in fear? Visit us online at: www.RenewalChurch.net

God calls us into a relationship with Him because He loves us so much. What if we gave God all our attention, all our affection, eliminate distractions and prepare ourselves to come to church being in the presence of God with other believers? What could be possible? Today
God gives us His presence so that we might know Him! He does not just want you to know about Him, but to truly know Him. In Exodus 19 we see how God granted His holy presence to His called-out people so that they might know Him, but while for the people of Israel a barrier remained, now for those of us who are in Christ, the barrier has been removed and God invites us to experience and enjoy His presence.

We have a tendency to make God so small. Often we fail to realize that when He reveals Himself, He unfolds an incredible plan for our good.

Two months after the miraculous exodus from Egypt, the Israelites are camping before Mt. Sinai wondering, "what now??" Before the epic display of power and holiness, God expresses his heart and his mission statement for the people of Israel, a mission they never realized - to become an entire kingdom of priests on the earth.

On the surface, this can seem like the easiest of the Ten Commandments to obey, but our God is not always the God we profess with our mouths but the God that is honored in our actions.

God's holiness is so good we can't live without it, and yet so lethal that we cannot approach it. We need a Mediator.
When God is valuable, we make time for him. Between humanity and GOD, God is the initiator. Meeting with God is always of God's initiative.
