Rock Bible Chapel is a Village Missions church in Rock, MI. It is our goal to better know, trust, love and communicate Christ as individuals and as a community of believers.
How we live hangs on who we know ourselves to be. Because of our relationship with God, we are given a new way to see ourselves, which can transform our lives.
Faith Path Part 12: Help Others Follow Jesus. To a Christian, few things are as intimidating as coming alongside another to help them follow Jesus better, yet few things are simpler. Join us as we see how God calls us to help others in their relationship with Jesus.
Faith Path Part 12: Help Others Follow Jesus. As followers of Jesus, we are not simply commanded to help others trust in Jesus, but to help them learn to follow Jesus. Join us as we explore why one-on-one discipleship is key to the health of Christ's body.
Faith Path Part 11: Take Grace to your World. Jesus commanded His disciples, in Acts 1:8 to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Today we explore the third part, and how we can be involved in reaching the ends of the earth.
Faith Path Part 11: Take Grace to your World. Jesus commanded His disciples, in Acts 1:8 to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Today we explore the second part, and what it means to reach across boundaries.
Faith Path Part 11: Take Grace to your World. Jesus commanded His disciples, in Acts 1:8 to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea & Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Today we explore the first part, and what it means to reach those closest to you.
Faith Path Part 10: Learn How to be Generous. As we explore Matthew 25, we'll learn to see the meaning of stewardship, and what it means to be generous in a world where God actually owns everything.
Faith Path Part 10: Learn How to be Generous. A stigma revolves around churches and money, thanks to those who use pressure tactics or twisted Scripture to manipulate for profit. Join us today as we see the Bible show that generosity is not a demand, it's an offer to join in God's work and see Him grow us in ways we never could have expected.
Faith Path Part 9: Serve in the Church. It's easy to see that service is important - things don't get done otherwise. But what should be our motivation? Join us as we explore four main motivations: thankfulness, love, identity, and rewards.
Faith Path Part 9: Serve in the Church. Today's churches can be susceptible to a celebrity culture, as if more public works are more valuable. The Bible, however, teaches the exact opposite: there is no B Team in the Body of Christ!
Faith Path Part 8: Practice Grace with Others. No matter how we work to avoid it, relationships come with hurt. Today, we explore forgiveness: what it is (and isn't), why it matters, and what it looks like.
Over this past month, our community has been rocked by a series of unexpected passings. In this time, it is important to remember where our hope lies. Join us as Mike Lepisto shares what it means that heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people.
Our greatest possible life goal, as Christians, is to display Christ to others, and the greatest tool to develop us toward that end is the church--the best possible place to practice grace. Join us as we explore what it means to practice grace through proactive love.
Faith Path Part 7: Living in Community. It's been said, to build a ship, you first need to create in man a longing for the vast and endless sea. This week, we see what the Bible says true biblical community looks like. As you listen, ask yourself: is this the kind of community I want to be part of, to help build?
Christianity has long been questioned by many outside the church. This week, Mike Lepisto compares Christianity with other worldviews, to see which worldview better addresses the realities of this world.
We know, on a philosophical level, we should live in community. But we also know that, at times, it can be hard. This week, we field some common reasons people resist living in community, and explore some ways Christian community can be at its best.
Faith Path Part 7: Living in Community. We Americans tend to individualize our faith and say we can grow close to Jesus on our own, but God's Word tells us to grow together in community. Join us as we explore three reasons why, at our core, we are MADE to live in community with other believers.
Even though grace is the foundation for the Good News of Jesus, even those within the church are wary of "too much grace," believing it pushes people away from a deep relationship with God. Today, we see how grace, properly understood, is the best motivation for a life of true obedience.
Too easily, when those inside and outside Christianity talk about the subject of love, there's misunderstanding because the two groups define the word differently. Join us as today we explore what the Bible means by love and how we can better know it through grace.
Faith Path Part 6: Understanding Grace Better. It is a tragedy when God's people forget the foundational importance of God's grace. Join us as we look through the eyes of the Apostle Paul to see how grace is the foundation for our trust.
Faith Path Part 5: Spending Time with Jesus. Prayer can be intimidating for even long-time Christians, but it was never meant to be. Join us as we discover three keys to a healthy prayer life: intimacy, simplicity, and priorities.
Faith Path Part 5: Spending Time with Jesus. The Bible and the rest of the world both claim wisdom, but the wisdom each offers is different. Today we'll study what it means for the Bible to be both a human and divine book, and how we can best grasp the Word of God.
Faith Path Part 5: Spending Time with Jesus. We know we should spend time with Jesus, but honestly, why should we? We'll explore this question and see why time with Jesus leads to peace, purpose, and fruitfulness in the life of believers.
Faith Path Part 4: Spiritual Gifts. Many associate the speaking spiritual gifts simply as teaching large groups. But the Spirit enables people to serve one another through words in many ways. Join us as we seek to understand the speaking spiritual gifts, and consider whether God has given you these powerful gifts.
For decades, the UP Bible Camp has been an exciting and fun place to learn about God's love for us through Jesus. Join us this week as Chad Swearingen shares about recent upgrades to the facilities and how you can join the camp in making it an even better place to visit!
Faith Path Part 4: Spiritual Gifts. What gift do you have? One way to group gifts is into the serving, speaking, and sign gifts. Join us as we explore the serving gifts, and how crucial they are to the health of a church.
Join us as Mike Lepisto shares what the Bible tells us about the prince, the power, the process, and the picture of death, and the hope that is available to everyone who trusts in Jesus.
Faith Path Part 4: Spiritual Gifts. Not everyone is familiar with what spiritual gifts are, how we get them, or what we do with them. Join us as we begin our miniseries with an overview of these wonderful gifts of God.
We may have learned that Jesus' resurrection is important. But in a world turning away from Jesus, we must face the question: is the Resurrection true?
Philippians 2 reminds us that the death of Christ shows us both a picture of the love with with He loved us and the love with which we ought to love one another.

Faith Path Part 3: Tell Your Story. We all have stories to tell: stories about childhood, parenting, adventures, and mishaps. But can we share how we came to trust in Jesus for eternal life? This message is a practical tool for believers thinking about how to share their story.
Faith Path Part 2: Get Baptized. Water baptism is a ritual with a history as rich and varied as the Church itself. Today, we will explore what we believe the Bible says about baptism, and whether you should do it.
Faith Path Part 2: Get Baptized. The Bible describes two baptisms: water baptism and the baptism of the Spirit. Today, we will see what it means to be baptized by the Spirit and how it changes our entire view of the Christian life.
The calls to believe the Gospel, and the calls and to follow Jesus, ring throughout the Bible. But are they the same call, or different? We see today the foundation our faith in Jesus lays for our discipleship, and we will see how and why we grow in our walk with Jesus.

Trusting Jesus for Salvation is the very first step in The Faith Path, but what does it mean to trust Jesus. Ultimately, to receive everlasting life, we must believe in the right Person, for the right Promise, in the right Way.
We must face it: the world Is turning increasingly against the Gospel. How are we called to respond? By following Jesus in discipleship. We are beginning a series of miniseries based on a tool developed by Faith Bible Church, called "The Faith Path," as we see how we can grow in our walk with Christ.
John Bjorlie shares from Proverbs about how to control our words with wisdom.
We who have believed Jesus have received everything because of the price He paid. Now, He calls us to follow the trail He blazed for us: a life of love, a life of trust, and a life of endurance. Those that do will never regret it.
The lens through which we believe God sees us affects how we read God's Word. Hebrews 12 shows us that, as we believe the author's claim that God sees us through the eyes of grace, He will make us into people who are enduring, loving, and unshakeable.
For this Christmas Eve service, we remember the other name given to God as He was born into the world: Jesus, the God Who Saves.
This Christmas, we remember the name given to God as He was bron into the world: Immanuel, God With Us.
Hebrews 11 is more than a picture of other people's lives of faith. It paints a picture of what our lives could look like when lived in faith. They could be lives full of anticipation, commendation, separation, solidity, connection and unique to each of us. Let's begin that life of faith today!
Hebrews tells us much that we have in Christ, and all that we have gives us a responsibility to trust, rest in, be confident in, and grow in it. In our discussion of Hebrews 10:19-39 we see the difference between the Judgment Seat of Christ and the Great White Throne Judgment, and what it means for believers.
Jesus' goal is a relationship with us, and from His perspective, the obstacle is not what we think it is. It is our sin, yes. But deeper than that is our choice from Adam on, to relate to God through the knowledge of good and evil. We don't think of this as an obstacle, but it is, and only Jesus can break down this wall.
Do we judge something as better for being newer, or older? Christians were asking this as they compared grace to Law. In Hebrews 8, the author definitively proves that, no matter how you slice it, Jesus' way--relating to God through grace--is better than the Law.
We too easily skim Jesus' connection to Melchizedek. The more we understand it, however, the more we see Jesus as a better priest over a better kind of relationship, and find hope in our connection to someoen as great as Him.
