Gratitude is the key that opens the church doors to the outside world. True thankfulness is a wellspring of joy that overflows from within our hearts that leads us to worship the One who sent His very own Son. When we experience deep gratitude for what God has given us, it inspires an outward servitude and brings the eternal blessings that only the Church can provide. In today's sermon message, we will explore the story of a woman who gave up her most prized possessions to become a blessing to others.

The second in a 7-part series helping the church connect the dots for Spiritual & Numerical growth & ministry.
It can be overwhelming sometimes for how to begin or what task to start when we see so much that we need to do in church, work, society, etc. We look at the example of Mary who simply did what she could. She gave the very best she had to the Lord in sacrifice, in worship, and the Lord honored her sacrifice with a very godly memorial. We need to simply make a commitment to "do what we can", to help others with our time, abilities, and finances, to serve others and honor the Lord.

What she did brought scorn. But, Jesus was pleased.

Morning Baptismal Service 7 Oct.'18
When we follow Jesus, what does it mean when we say: "I am going all in for Jesus". In the final part of the Mark(ed) by love series we are going to look at the stories of two people who went all in, in different ways in their decision to follow Jesus. What is holding you back?
When it comes to what we do for Jesus, there are occasions that call for extravagant gifts, and there are daily occurrences that call for extravagant devotion.

Preached on Sunday Morning, May 29, 2016
Contemporary Worship Service of Church Of The Palms, Sarasota, FL
Throughout the season of Lent, the sermons will feature the poems of George Herbert (1593-1633), a Welsh poet and Anglican priest who wrote between the Age of Shakespeare and the Age of Milton. Five poems, published in 1633 in The Temple, formed the basis of Ralph Vaughan Williams “Five Mystical Songs,” written between 1906 and 1911. The poems are “Easter,” “I Got Me Flowers,” “Love Bade Me Welcome,” “The Call,” and “Antiphon.” On Palm Sunday, the choir will present all five mystical songs. Today, using the second half of the poem “Easter,” Dr. Larry R. Hayward explores where we find beauty in our lives: in our relationships, in the midst of suffering and sacrifice, and in Christian doctrine. The Scripture lesson is Mark 14:3-9 (RSV).
