CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES DRIVER - JACK WOOD . On June 10, 2021, GMS announced Wood would pilot the No. 24 truck for the remainder of the 2021 season. He would remain with the team for the full 2022 slate. 2019: With a budding career starting to take form, Jack Wood made his first starts in the NASCAR Touring Series, competing part-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. Wood collected two top-10 finishes with a season-best of ninth place at Evergreen Speedway in only six starts for his family-owned race team. 2020: Wood drove part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, collecting one top-five at Colorado National Speedway and six top-10 finishes in only eight starts with his family-run team. Jack would also competed in various SRL Southwest Tour Super Late Model events throughout the west coast. 2021: Initially planning on competing full-time in the ARCA Menards Series for GMS Racing, Jack Wood took over the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado midway through the season for twelve NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, notching one top-10 finish at Gateway. During his time spent competing in eight ARCA Menards Series races, Jack would earn one top-five and four top-10 finishes. At the start of the season, Wood was tabbed to join the Drivers Edge Development program as a development driver for Chevrolet. 2022: Jack Wood returns to GMS Racing for a full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season driving the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado. This upcoming season will mark Wood's first full-time effort in any racing series, where he will compete for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors as he continues to develop his career. For the second straight season, Jack was selected to join the Drivers Edge Development program, and will compete this season with primary backing from Chevrolet. Episode 338 William Byron is in his second season as driver of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet. Byron earned Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in 2018, tallying four top-10 finishes and ranking 23rd in the standings. He is paired with seven-time championship crew chief Chad Knaus in 2019. Byron scored four wins in the Xfinity Series as a rookie in 2017 en route to the series championship, and his seven wins in the Gander Outdoors Trucks Series in 2016 set a NASCAR record by a first-year driver.
