After 30 years, North Wilkesboro was home to a points-paying Cup Race. Joey Logano finally got into victory lane after dominating the race. Logano is now above the cutline for the Chase and Jordan thinks this will help him get in the Chase. Another driver who had a great night was SVG who had 47 points and is 54 points above the cutline. The race on Sunday was under three hours, but did it really need to be 450 laps? And, just how good was the race? Penske won for the second week in a row,.JGR was fast as usual. But, things didn't go as well for HMS. With the help of a bad timing caution for Chase Elliott, Todd Gilliland was able to pull off the upset and advance in the In-Season Tournament Championship. He will have to pull off another upset and beat Ryan Blaney at the Brickyard to win a million dollars. Denny Hamlin finished second and extended his points lead. Is this his year, or will bad luck strike him again? With Logano moving above the cutline and Austin Cindric in 16th, can anyone knock them out? Or is the only driver those below the cutline can beat is SVG? More practice is coming, but is it needed, and who will benefit the most from it? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Rajah dives into what his season's been like split between the No. 88 and No. 32, his chances at making The Chase, and what it's like having Dale Jr himself come over the radio and give him some advice in the middle of the race. Tommy finally has nothing egregious to say about Carson Hocevar's driving after The Hurricane scored another Top-5 finish after nearly winning the Cup race. Karsyn explains how she wishes the JR Motorsports drivers had worked closer together at the end of the O'Reilly race, but Allgaier still got them the beer toast anyway. In Spot On, Spot Off, we cover:  Did Hocevar not get a push because of his attitude? The Bubba Wallace below-the-line penalty... Was worn-out Atlanta the cause for the O'Reilly chaos? Does Rajah Caruth think he's making the NOAPS Chase? Should NASCAR always have some form of practice? Plus, does NASCAR need practice at drafting tracks? Ryan Blaney joins Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi live from Naval Base Coronado – where NASCAR somehow convinced the U.S. Navy to let them turn an active military base into a racetrack. The guys share their first impressions of San Diego, debate what it actually takes to win on a brand-new street course, and how far back SVG needs to start to give everyone else a shot. They also reveal what their call signs would be if they were stationed here – you'll laugh out loud at Jordan's. Ryan is sitting third in points with the playoff cutoff approaching, so where does he think a driver needs to be to realistically contend for a championship? Some say top six … but not Ryan Blaney. The mustache is real, it's magnificent, and Roger Penske had thoughts. Ryan tells the story. Plus: Jeff and Ryan blind-rank which NASCAR drivers they'd trust to babysit their kids, Ryan reflects on life with blowouts and upset llamas, and more from one of the most unique race weekends in NASCAR history. With us starting our own NASCAR show and with the race being in Nashville this weekend, no better way to start your weekend with the guy who helped launch our new show, Ryan Blaney. Following the intro, the boys are joined by 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Ryan Blaney. We didn't have Ryan for very long but the boys made the most of the time that we did have. Will and Taylor aren't the biggest of NASCAR fans so some of the questions that are asked make no sense but are hilarious. Including when Will asked if the drivers "Shake and Bake" and use the "Slingshot" method from one of the best sports movies of all time, Talladega Nights. This interview allows Ryan to show his true self and he fit in perfect with the boys. EnjoySee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Recorded: May 27th 2026 | Welcome to the first episode of Racin' With The Boys. For the first episode, we thought we'd give you guys two of the top drivers in NASCAR, Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace. The guys start off the show about asking Bubba what it is like driving for one of the GOAT's in all of sports, Michael Jordan. Bubba and Blaney get into what is like driving for two of the premier teams in the sport in 23XI and Team Penske. Bubba gets into how cool it is to be driving the 23 car for Michael Jordan and how it can be difficult at times racing against the other owner of the team, Denny Hamlin. Bubba and Ryan are really good friends and talk what it was like coming up through the ranks of NASCAR together and racing each other when they were kids. The guys get into what race preparation looks like each week and how much actually goes into getting ready for every week. Ryan gives his thought on how the new NASCAR playoff, "The Chase", is better than the previous playoff format as it rewards consistency rather luck. Will and Taylor then have some fun with the guys asking what they get their crew members each year for Christmas, let's just say, the boys need to get better at gift giving. Bubba has a wild take by saying "Talladega Nights" is a terrible movie and thinks it paints all the drivers as dumb rednecks. The boys then end the pod talking about how tough it was losing Kyle Busch suddenly. Each of them pay their respects and say how much he meant to them and how it still doesn't feel real. All in all, this is a fun listen and shows off how much of dudes both Ryand and Bubba are. Denny Hamlin gets his second win of the season…only this one doesn't actually count since it was the All-Star Race. Denny won the pole after spinning out before his qualifying lap even counted. Like most of the weekend, qualifying was a tad confusing. On Sunday, there was immediate carnage only adding to the confusion. The drivers who paid the biggest price were those locked in to the All-Star race like Chase Elliott, who technically didn't race in the All-Star race. Plus, Denny has a new location suggestion for the All-Star race next year Thanks to Goodyear there was plenty of tire wear. Plus, low downforce and added horsepower had lots of drivers having control issues. On the track, Denny and the 11 team had the best car. The one area where Denny continued to struggle was restarts. He explains what's going on and why he is determined to figure it out. On Saturday, Corey Day made a statement and the rumors about his future are flying around. The guys get into whether or not he is ready for Cup racing. For more content head over to our YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/@ActionsDetrimental Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Batting leadoff is Dale Jr. discussing Carson Hocevar's outing at the Met Gala, the moments he remembers being in the pop culture spotlight, and why he thinks more drivers should do the same. In the two spot, Door Bumper Clear heard from many No. 9 fans, known better around that set as "Chasesexuals." It's safe to say they were one happy bunch this week... You also get to meet someone named Pickles, who sounds like a trip. This week's guest interview on the Dale Jr. Download was with Mr. Mustache himself, Ryan Blaney! He talks about fatherhood and bonding with his own father, Dave Blaney, over life, racing, and everything in between. As you read earlier, the Earnhardts have had a fun week dealing with a swarm of bees that decided to use their back porch as a vacation rental for spring break. This week, Dale Earnhardt Jr. catches up with a driver who has firmly established himself as one of the top drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series, 2023 Champion Ryan Blaney. Ryan enters the studio with major news: he is signing a long-term extension with Penske Racing. He explains what his time with the team and legendary owner Roger Penske has meant to his career and how he can't imagine himself anywhere else in racing. While Ryan currently finds himself fourth in season points, his year hasn't been without turbulence. The guys chat about Ryan's pit road mishap at Texas and his ongoing issues throughout the early events of the year. Ryan explains that he's confident in the team's speed; they just need to put all the pieces together. Dale and Ryan share admiration for the new NASCAR points standings, which harkens back to previous favorite times in the sport. Ryan applauds the fact that race wins mean so much more under this format, and it's no longer about being “welcomed to the Playoffs”. The guys look ahead to Watkins Glen, bond over fatherhood, ponder superspeedway packages and farm animals.
