Well, looks like we can officially say that it wasn't fatigue from Walker Stalker Con Atlanta that left us scratching our heads about this episode of The Walking Dead. While we love the multi-prong approach to total annihilation of the Saviors, we got a little bored with all of the gun action outside of the outpost. Inside, we were not impressed with the Morales reveal. STOP TRYING TO MAKE MORALES HAPPEN, TWD! We were even less impressed with Jesus taking that nickname a little too far and abandoning the entire point of the "Kill the Saviors 2017" campaign to do...what exactly? We're with Morgan and Tara. Rick said to kill 'em, that's what you gotta do. Stick around for our interview with Seth Gilliam (@TheSethGilliam, Father Gabriel) where we talk about what he'd like to see for his character's future (it might surprise you). We prepared for this for months and the 3 days of Walker Stalker Atlanta 2017 literally flew by. We talk about our experiences, including meeting the winner of our scavenger hunt for #WSCAtlanta tickets, Danai Gurira's mishap with Kia's name and, of course, the unicorn photo op with Andy and Danai. We talk about some people here. Here's the Jeffrey Dean Morgan panel from Walker Stalker Con Atlanta last weekend. One of my favorite panels ever. JDM slips in and out of character, and quickly wins the crowd over. Let's see if he'll do the same for you :) We're also joined by Greg Nicotero, who directed the S7 premiere and gives a lot of great info on the thinking and logistics behind it. A big giant thank you to Walker Stalker head honcho James Frazier for letting us play this. Want to see some of these panels in person sometime? Check out walkerstalkercon.com! In the meantime, if you appreciate what Karen and I do and want to help support us and keep all this going, please check out our Patreon page at patreon.com/jasonandkaren. We added a $2 tier and put up a little 10-minute mini-podcast. Support the show.
We didn't know about this King Ezekiel / Shiva business at first, but it SO works, and we're excited that The Walking Dead took the time to root Ezekiel in reality so quickly. We talk about the Kingdom's set up, Ezekiel-isms and whether or not Ezekiel is putting the moves on Carol. If so, just don't do it with fruit; that's Richonne's thing! Also, we have a wee bit of Walker Stalker Con Atlanta 2016 talk at the top. Got feedback for us? We wanna hear it! We went to Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta and it was incredible! Listen for our complete rundown of the festivities from The Walking Dead Experience, to Norman Reedus, Greg Nicotero, and David Morrissey crashing Andrew Lincoln's panel. We visited Senoia and saw the Woodbury and Alexandria locations as well as Carl's pudding house, the Claimed house, the Clear set, met tons of amazing Senoians. We partied into the night with hundreds of fellow fans, watched a sad flock of Falcons in the rain, ate awesome BBQ & got completely spooked at Netherworld. Thanks Walker Stalker Con and Hotlanta!
We discuss "Here's Not Here" aka The Morgan Episode and Walker Stalker Con Atlanta 2015!

Fair warning, we're in deep deep denial about Glenn's alleged apparent untimely death this episode, and so we can't help but look at things from that filter. So be warned, there won't be a lot of grieving happening—not until we know for sure. Still, we break things down for you and look at it all through a few different angles. Plus news, and as you can imagine, lots of heartfelt email and calls from you guys. WDC Meetup: Will you be at Walker Stalker Con Atlanta next weekend? Or are you in the Atlanta area? Under the Comic Covers returns this week with perennial favorites, The Walking Dead #133: Impending Doom, and Revival #24. But before we dig too deeply into these titles, we spend a little time sharing our experiences at Walker Stalker Con: Atlanta, 2014... from moderating a panel with Jason Momoa to thanking an endless see of attendees and staff, we had a great time. In addition to this, we answer your emails and reach for what we have on the Top of the Stack. This week, Grace picks Stumptown, while Mr. B goes with something a bit more out of character... G.I. Joe: Cobra. Seriously... Zombie skin wearing creeps, zombie deer, and much much more in this weeks episode of Under the Comic Covers. Under the Comic Covers returns this week to go over two perennial favorites, The Walking Dead #131, which reunites us with some old favorites while also introducing new characters, and Locke & Key Vol. 5: Clockworks, diving deep into the origin of the keys and answering each and every question posited in the first four volumes. Before we dig into those issues we have a few bits of news up front, as well as a couple of cool announcements regarding Walker Stalker Con Atlanta, and unfortunately we will not be releasing an episode next week due to Mr. Blahg's vacation. After all of that goodness we answer some emails and give our (Mr. Blahg's) opinion of various pickles ranging from fried to cornichons... and be sure to stay until the very end to get a brief taste of what Mr. Blahg will be immersed in next week.
