The Yankees are back and in full swing, with a new roster after the trade deadline. With Jose also missing this episode, Ryan and Brian go over the 2-1 series win in the Trop against the Rays and then get a sweep against the Miami Marlins to send up going 5-1 since the last record day. This new team could start to push for a playoff spot in question earlier this season. Even though early in this "new season," the Yankees are putting their best foot forward.

With Jose out for this episode, Ryan and Brian steered the ship in what will be one of the most significant news episodes we have had. The Yankees made many moves at this trade deadline, trading for needs that we have been asking for this whole season. The Yankees add two arms in Clay Hamels, Joely Rodriguez and Andrew Heaney, who aren't the most significant acquisitions, but they will pitch innings. The big moves are for Joey Gallo and Anthony Rizzo, with Rizzo being a big surprise. The Yankees addressed the need for more lefty bats and hitters to put the ball into play and get on base. The Yankees are ready to make a run, and with this roster, it flips the whole season.

With Jose out with Covid its up to Jacob and Joe to get things back into shape. with Joe's Deep dive into the snyder cut, and Jacob's week spent as a drug lord, they do just that!
