A podcast about Old School Magic: The Gathering.
old school, keep up the good, like.
Listeners of All Tings Considered that love the show mention:The All Things Considered podcast is a must-listen for any old school MTG enthusiast. As an underground old schooler myself, I have been listening to this podcast since its very first episode and it has become a staple in my weekly routine. The hosts, Brian and Mano, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, making for engaging conversations that never fail to captivate me.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the incredible lineup of guests that they bring on. From well-known players to industry insiders, they manage to secure interviews with some of the most interesting and influential individuals in the old school community. These interviews provide valuable insights into different aspects of the game, as well as offering unique perspectives that are both entertaining and educational.
Furthermore, the deck tech segments are an absolute gem. Brian and Mano delve deep into various deck archetypes, discussing card choices, strategies, and highlighting interesting interactions. This not only helps me improve my own gameplay but also gets my creative juices flowing when it comes to building new decks. Their enthusiasm for old school MTG is infectious and it's evident in every episode.
While there really aren't many negative aspects to The All Things Considered podcast, one thing that could be improved upon is consistency in releasing episodes. As much as I understand that life can get busy sometimes, there have been periods where there was a lack of new episodes which left me craving for more content. However, I do appreciate that quality takes time and effort so it's ultimately a minor gripe.
In conclusion, The All Things Considered podcast is without a doubt the best old school MTG podcast out there. It caters to veterans like myself who have been playing since the early days as well as newcomers who are just discovering the format. With its informative discussions, entertaining guest interviews, and genuine passion for old school MTG, this podcast serves as a fantastic resource for anyone looking to dive into the wonderful world of old school Magic. I eagerly await each new episode and I highly recommend it to anyone with an appreciation for the game.
