As Pope Pope Leo XIV prepares for his visit to Valencia, one of Spain's greatest religious mysteries is once again back in the spotlight: the search for the true Holy Grail. And surprisingly, Spain has not one… but two famous chalices, both believed by some historians and believers to be the authentic cup used by Jesus during the Last Supper. The best known contender is kept inside Valencia Cathedral. Known as the Holy Chalice of Valencia, this small dark red agate cup has a story worthy of a Hollywood movie. Tradition says Saint Peter took it from Jerusalem to Rome, where early Christians protected it during periods of persecution. Later, during the Muslim invasion of the Iberian Peninsula in the 8th century, the relic was secretly moved across northern Spain, hidden in monasteries deep in the Pyrenees before eventually arriving in Valencia in the 1400s.What makes this grail especially fascinating is that several Popes, including Saint John Paul II and Benedict XVI, have actually used it during Mass. While the Vatican has never officially confirmed it as the authentic Holy Grail, historians agree that parts of the cup date back to the time of Christ. But Valencia is not alone. In the city of León, inside the ancient Basílica de San Isidoro, another chalice challenges Valencia 's claim. Known as the Chalice of Doña Urraca, researchers created worldwide headlines after suggesting it may also have travelled from Jerusalem through Egypt before reaching medieval Spain through royal alliances and Christian kingdoms.Faith, history, politics, and legend all collide in these mysterious cups. Whether authentic or not, Spain has become one of the world's most unexpected guardians of one of Christianity's greatest legends. For Jorge: Small Group Tours in Spain & PortugalWebsite: https://travelingwithjorge.com/Small group tours Spain, cultural tours Spain and Portugal, authentic travel experiences, guided tours for mature travelers, food and wine tours Iberian Peninsula. If you're dreaming about discovering Spain and Portugal beyond the typical tourist routes, Jorge designs small group cultural tours that combine history, local gastronomy, wine experiences, and meaningful human connections. Back in March, I was delighted to welcome Orlygg of the legendary Realm of Chaos 80s blog onto the show. The episode was very popular and gathered a ton of great feedback. If you missed it first time around, here it is. Due to popular demand, I invited Orlygg back on for part two, and this time, solicited questions for him from the Bedroom Battlefields community.

Elisabeth originally presented this talk in November, 1997 at the PWC Conference in Willingen, Germany. This recording is the result of our work digitizing over 600 cassette tapes of Elisabeth's talks. Each tape is decades old and the quality of the recordings varies quite a bit from tape to tape. As we preserve Elisabeth's legacy, we will share as much of her work as possible, even when technical issues affect the quality of the audio. Each talk is unique in content and tone. Welcome to Rise Up – Day 15. In today's Gospel, Jesus asks James and John a powerful question: “Can you drink the chalice that I will drink?” At the time, they had no idea what He meant. But that chalice would become the chalice of the Mass—the sacrifice of Christ poured out for the salvation of the world. Every time we attend Mass, we are invited to enter into that same mystery: the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The question remains for us today: Can we drink the chalice? Watch today's reflection and allow the Lord to draw you deeper into the mystery of the Eucharist. #RiseUp #Catholic #DailyGospel #TheMass #Eucharist #CatholicFaith #CatholicYouTube

On this episode of The Jason Jones Show, Jason speaks with Valentyna Pavsyukova, founder of Chalice of Mercy, about faith, mercy, and defending life amid the challenges facing Ukraine. Born in 1983 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, Valentyna grew up without religion but carried a deep desire to know God. Sustained by her grandmother's simple prayer of the Our Father, she eventually encountered the Catholic Church and entered it in 2007. That spiritual journey led her to found Chalice of Mercy, a nonprofit dedicated to presenting God as a Merciful and Loving Father and defending the sanctity of life from conception through concrete acts of service. Bishop Vitalii Kryvytskyi offers a firsthand perspective on the war in Ukraine, focusing on children, families, and resilience. Bishop Vitalii Kryvytskyi will offer a firsthand pastoral perspective on life amid the prolonged war in Ukraine, with particular attention to the experiences of children and families. Drawing on his role as Roman Catholic Bishop of Kyiv–Zhytomyr, he will discuss how the Church fosters stability, resilience, and recovery through parish life, youth ministry, and structured programs serving children and families under wartime conditions. The lecture will be delivered with interpretation by Valentyna Pavsyukova, Founder, President, and CEO of Chalice of Mercy, who will translate for Bishop Kryvytskyi throughout the event. About the Speakers: Bishop Vitalii Kryvytskyi, SDB, is the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Kyiv–Zhytomyr, a role he has held since his appointment by Pope Francis in 2017. Born in Odesa, Ukraine, he entered the Salesian Society of St. John Bosco in 1990 and completed his theological formation in Poland, earning a Master of Theology from the Catholic University of Lublin. Ordained a priest in 1997, Bishop Kryvytskyi has devoted much of his ministry to parish leadership, youth formation, and pastoral care across Ukraine, particularly in Odesa, Zhytomyr, and Lviv regions. In addition to his diocesan responsibilities, he serves in several national leadership roles within the Catholic Church in Ukraine, including Deputy Chair of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Ukraine and Head of its Ecumenical Commission. He is also an active member of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, which he led in 2019. His episcopal ministry is guided by his motto, In Iesu Christo (“In Jesus Christ”). Valentyna Pavsyukova is the Founder, President, and CEO of Chalice of Mercy, a nonprofit organization she established in 2007 to advance humanitarian aid, pro-life advocacy, and family support in Ukraine. Born and raised in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, she immigrated to the United States after winning the U.S. Green Card Lottery and became a U.S. citizen in 2010. Her early years in the U.S. included a career in cosmetology, which she left in 2009 to dedicate herself fully to mission work following a profound spiritual conversion influenced by Mother Teresa and St. John Paul II. Valentyna continues her intellectual and spiritual formation through studies at the Theology of the Body Institute and Oxford University's Politics Certification Program. Under her leadership, Chalice of Mercy has delivered extensive humanitarian and medical assistance, including over $80 million in medical supplies since 2022, organized life-saving medical missions, supported hospitals, hospices, orphanages, and families, and founded faith-based educational initiatives such as Saint Maria Goretti Daycare in Zaporizhzhia. A frequent international speaker, she has addressed audiences at the March for Life in Washington, D.C., Ukrainian Week, and major youth and policy forums. She also serves as a Strategic Adviser to the Protez Foundation, supporting rehabilitation and prosthetics for wounded Ukrainian soldiers, and her work has been recognized by Ukrainian and international institutions for extraordinary humanitarian and defense support. **Learn more about IWP graduate programs: https://www.iwp.edu/academics/graduate-degree-programs/ ***Make a gift to IWP: https://wl.donorperfect.net/weblink/WebLink.aspx?name=E231090&id=3

Interview with Alex Dorsch, MD & CEO of Chalice MiningRecording date: 20th January 2026Chalice Mining is developing the Western world's leading palladium-nickel-copper project at Gonneville, discovered in 2020 near Perth, Australia. The project has advanced from discovery to prefeasibility study (PFS) stage, with Final Investment Decision (FID) and construction planned for 2028-29.The project's exceptional economics stem from open-pit mining starting at surface level, delivering all-in sustaining costs of $370/oz compared to $900-1,800/oz for South African competitors operating deep underground mines. This positions Gonneville in the second quartile of the global cost curve. The PFS demonstrates a 23-year mine life with NPV8 of A$3.3 billion at current prices and 40% IRR, producing 170,000 oz/year initially and scaling to 250,000 oz/year in stage two.Palladium prices have surged 105% from $880/oz to $1,800/oz over seven months, driven by supply constraints with over 90% production concentrated in Russia and South Africa. Demand remains resilient as electric vehicle adoption progresses slower than anticipated, supporting hybrid vehicles that require palladium catalytic converters.Chalice's two-stage development strategy balances ambition with capital discipline. Stage one requires A$820 million capex, fundable through 50-70% debt financing given strong project margins and abundant critical minerals financing from sovereign wealth providers. The company has invested A$325 million in technical work, including A$15 million on metallurgical testing—significantly more than typical junior miners at this stage.A simplified flowsheet redesign produces three standard products processable by conventional smelters, eliminating downstream technology risk. The project's Perth location provides infrastructure advantages and residential workforce access, reducing capital requirements to A$200-250 million versus multi-billion dollar bills for remote projects. With regulatory approvals expected in early 2028, Chalice offers rare exposure to palladium development outside Russian and South African dominance in a structurally constrained supply market.View Chalice Mining's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/chalice-miningSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
On the surface, Blanche Taylor Moore looked like a model of small-town virtue: a devoted caregiver, a churchgoing woman, a trusted neighbor. But behind that carefully maintained image lay a wild heart with few limits on what it was capable of. Murder certainly wasn't beyond her, and those closest to her were in the most danger, consuming their own deaths with every bite of Blanche's carefully prepared dinners. She turned domestic intimacy into a lethal weapon.Sources:Jim Schutze, Preacher's Girl Court papers: https://law.justia.com/cases/north-carolina/supreme-court/1994/556a90-0.html https://abc11.com/post/black-widow-killer-is-north-carolinas-oldest-woman-on-death-row/5137961/ https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1989-08-22-vw-1071-story.html https://www.nytimes.com/1990/11/15/us/suspected-of-poisoning-her-mates-woman-is-guilty-in-friend-s-death.htmlFollow us, campers!Patreon (join to get all episodes ad-free, at least a day early, an extra episode a month, and a free sticker!): https://patreon.com/TrueCrimeCampfirehttps://www.truecrimecampfirepod.com/Facebook: True Crime CampfireInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/truecrimecampfire/?hl=enTwitter: @TCCampfire https://twitter.com/TCCampfireEmail: truecrimecampfirepod@gmail.comMERCH! https://true-crime-campfire.myspreadshop.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/true-crime-campfire--4251960/support.
In this first episode of 2026, Nonviolence Radio welcomes visionary scholar Riane Eisler for a spacious and deeply human conversation about the cultural shift our world is being asked to make—from systems of domination toward cultures of partnership. Drawing on Eisler's lifelong work, including The Chalice and the Blade and Nurturing Our Humanity, we move through memory, trauma, economics, education, and story, discovering how nonviolence is not just an ideal but a lived, relational practice.Together, we explore what it means to build a world rooted in care, courage, and connection—and how a “new story” of who we are and what we're capable of can help guide us through this time of profound transition.

Heart Speaks to Heart: The Love of Christ in the Eucharist Today's Homily centers on St. Paul's teaching that to truly know God's love, . . . . . . one must be rooted and grounded in it . . . not merely observing from a distance but living within it. The Homily then turns to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, whose mystical experiences of Christ's Sacred Heart revealed the depth of His love and sorrow at being loved so little in return. Through her, Jesus emphasized that devotion to His Heart is inseparable from devotion to His Eucharistic Presence. He lamented the neglect and indifference shown toward the Blessed Sacrament, even by those consecrated to Him, and called for reparation through time spent with Him in prayer and adoration. Heart Speaking to Heart From her quiet convent, this message gave rise to practices such as the First Friday devotion, Holy Hours of Reparation, and the simple yet profound habit of “visiting the Lord” in the tabernacle. The reflection concludes that true devotion to the Sacred Heart is not symbolic or sentimental, but an active, personal engagement . . . heart speaking to heart . . . in which Christ's love calls to the depths of our own hearts. Many Catholics have wondered why, at most Masses, the congregation receives only the consecrated Host, and not from the chalice. In this episode of The Patrick Madrid Show, Patrick unpacks the theology behind this practice and clears up one of the most common misconceptions about Holy Communion. He explains that during the Last Supper, Jesus shared both His Body and Blood with the Apostles because He was ordaining them as the first priests of the New Covenant – not setting a universal rule for laypeople. At Mass today, when the faithful receive the Eucharist under either form – the Host or the Precious Blood – they receive the whole Christ: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Nothing is missing. Patrick also shares that receiving under both kinds is a more recent development in Church history, only becoming common after the 1960s. Before that, laypeople traditionally received only the Host to prevent confusion and to safeguard belief in the Real Presence. Whether a parish offers both forms or just the Host, the grace received is the same.
In his amended federal lawsuit, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones alleges that Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son Justin were involved in a 2022 shooting at Chalice Recording Studio in Los Angeles. Jones claims that during a writers' camp, an argument between Diddy, Justin, and a man identified as “G” escalated in a bathroom, resulting in G being shot in the abdomen and leg. Jones states he found G bleeding on the floor and assisted him until an ambulance arrived. He further alleges that Diddy instructed him to tell police the shooting occurred outside the studio during a drive-by, and that G has since disappeared. These allegations contradict the Los Angeles Police Department's account, which determined the shooting took place outside the studio. Diddy's attorney, Shawn Holley, stated that neither Diddy nor Justin were present during the incident and were unaware of it until afterward. Additionally, an Instagram message from the studio suggested the shooting occurred "half a block away" from Chalice. As of now, no official reports, body camera footage, or 911 call recordings have been released, and G's whereabouts remain unknown.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsoure:Lawsuit says Sean ‘Diddy' Combs tied to 2022 shooting, LAPD says no
