Hybrids require higher palladium loadings in catalytic converters, keeping demand resilient despite slower EV uptake. Supply Constraints Create Strong Price Leverage Palladium supply remains highly constrained, with minimal new investment in Russia and South Africa. In a relatively small market, even modest demand shifts can drive sharp price increases. Gonneville Is Highly Leveraged to Palladium Upside Chalice's Gonneville project offers rare scale exposure to palladium in a Tier-1 jurisdiction. Each US$100/oz increase in the palladium price adds substantial value to project NPV, highlighting strong upside leverage. Simplified Processing Has Transformed Project Economics A major metallurgical breakthrough allowed Chalice to remove a capital-intensive downstream processing stage. This materially reduced capex, simplified the flowsheet and improved robustness across commodity cycles. Conservative Assumptions De-Risk the Investment Case The project's pre-feasibility study uses palladium price assumptions well below spot levels. This conservative approach demonstrates economic viability at the bottom of the cycle, while preserving significant upside in a rising price environment

Send us a textWipe Swap-Solar Panels & Salon BlowoutsPodcast Summary – Wife Swap S1 E1: “Overdressed and Underprepared”The series kicks off in Salt Lake City, Utah, where perfectionist housewife Angie Katsanevas (yes, the Real Housewife of Salt Lake City) runs a tight, glamorous ship with husband Shawn and daughter Elektra. Angie loves structure, control, and luxury — think salon workouts and spotless floors — while Shawn just wants her to relax and spend more quality time as a family.Across the border in Chalice, Idaho, we meet Lindsey Flake, who lives completely off-grid with husband Tanner and their three kids. They grow their own food, use solar power, and have no running water. After battling rheumatoid arthritis, Lindsey chose a simpler, self-sustaining life that restored her health and happiness. She hopes to show another family the beauty of unplugging — while her husband teases that she might not want to come back once she sees the fancy life. When Angie and Lindsey swap homes, chaos (and comedy) ensues. Angie arrives in the wilderness with a hat box and Givenchy boots, instantly declaring she's “overdressed and underprepared.” Meanwhile, Lindsey steps into Angie's chic Salt Lake home, confused by heated floors, endless beauty products, and a dishwasher that needs to be “knocked on.”As they follow each other's household rules, both women are pushed far outside their comfort zones — Angie learns to haul water, bathe outdoors, and bond with kids in nature, while Lindsey experiences salon workouts, daily glam, and the demands of perfection. Their rule changes bring heartfelt lessons: Angie sends Tanner out on a real date, and Lindsey ditches the glam to teach Shawn and Elektra the value of slowing down.By the end, both women are transformed. Angie learns that simplicity brings peace — she even tears up reflecting on it — while Lindsey realizes a little luxury (and indoor plumbing) isn't so bad. When they reunite, the respect between them is genuine. Angie calls Lindsey's life “humbling,” and Lindsey admits the swap was harder than she expected but life-changing.Both families end up blending a bit of each other's worlds — Angie starts gardening and spending more family time, while Lindsey occasionally enjoys a bidet and margarita moment.TakeawaysAngie's character is endearing and relatable.Living off the grid presents unique challenges. The contrast between urban and rural lifestyles is stark.Family dynamics play a crucial role in the narrative.Health and diet are significant themes in the conversation. The hosts share personal anecdotes related to the topics discussed.Humor is a key element in their discussions. The importance of appreciating nature is highlighted. The challenges of hygiene in off-grid living are concerning. The interactions between the families are heartwarming. Heart Speaks to Heart: The Love of Christ in the Eucharist Today's Homily centers on St. Paul's teaching that to truly know God's love, . . . . . . one must be rooted and grounded in it . . . not merely observing from a distance but living within it. The Homily then turns to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, whose mystical experiences of Christ's Sacred Heart revealed the depth of His love and sorrow at being loved so little in return. Through her, Jesus emphasized that devotion to His Heart is inseparable from devotion to His Eucharistic Presence. He lamented the neglect and indifference shown toward the Blessed Sacrament, even by those consecrated to Him, and called for reparation through time spent with Him in prayer and adoration. Heart Speaking to Heart From her quiet convent, this message gave rise to practices such as the First Friday devotion, Holy Hours of Reparation, and the simple yet profound habit of “visiting the Lord” in the tabernacle. The reflection concludes that true devotion to the Sacred Heart is not symbolic or sentimental, but an active, personal engagement . . . heart speaking to heart . . . in which Christ's love calls to the depths of our own hearts. Many Catholics have wondered why, at most Masses, the congregation receives only the consecrated Host, and not from the chalice. In this episode of The Patrick Madrid Show, Patrick unpacks the theology behind this practice and clears up one of the most common misconceptions about Holy Communion. He explains that during the Last Supper, Jesus shared both His Body and Blood with the Apostles because He was ordaining them as the first priests of the New Covenant – not setting a universal rule for laypeople. At Mass today, when the faithful receive the Eucharist under either form – the Host or the Precious Blood – they receive the whole Christ: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Nothing is missing. Patrick also shares that receiving under both kinds is a more recent development in Church history, only becoming common after the 1960s. Before that, laypeople traditionally received only the Host to prevent confusion and to safeguard belief in the Real Presence. Whether a parish offers both forms or just the Host, the grace received is the same.
In his amended federal lawsuit, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones alleges that Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son Justin were involved in a 2022 shooting at Chalice Recording Studio in Los Angeles. Jones claims that during a writers' camp, an argument between Diddy, Justin, and a man identified as “G” escalated in a bathroom, resulting in G being shot in the abdomen and leg. Jones states he found G bleeding on the floor and assisted him until an ambulance arrived. He further alleges that Diddy instructed him to tell police the shooting occurred outside the studio during a drive-by, and that G has since disappeared. These allegations contradict the Los Angeles Police Department's account, which determined the shooting took place outside the studio. Diddy's attorney, Shawn Holley, stated that neither Diddy nor Justin were present during the incident and were unaware of it until afterward. Additionally, an Instagram message from the studio suggested the shooting occurred "half a block away" from Chalice. As of now, no official reports, body camera footage, or 911 call recordings have been released, and G's whereabouts remain unknown.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsoure:Lawsuit says Sean ‘Diddy' Combs tied to 2022 shooting, LAPD says no

Use it showcase character traits that show up in intimate times. What do I want to portray in this scene? 1. Goal (character development) (ex: kindness? Make a list of how to showcase kindness.) 2. True to self 3. True to character (make a list of words that are appropriate)(Are they seasoned lovers or innocent?) Fight scenes and sex scenes have some similarities. Common mistakes: Boring, gloss over, not relevant What makes a good sex scene? Humanize the character Describe details without words that shock you or take you out of the story. Natural. Aligned with personal experience. Don't feel the speed bump going into the scene. Follow the Golden Rules of writing just as you would in any other scene. Use the same language in the spicy scenes as the rest of the book. Shorter sentences in action scenes. Sure. But use the same type of language. Go through the process of char dev for a reason. Know your character. It pays off when you get to the more complicated scenes (fight, action, sex). Inherent traits. Did I stay true to this character? Did I learn something about a character? Nice place to set up the psychology of a character. Vulnerable scenes are where we learn about the character. Character insight no where else. What about flashbacks in the scene? (Sentence of thought, convey emotions/doubt) Getting feedback on spicy scenes: assess the comfort levels of critique partners, warn ahead of time, what's the best way to send this to you. Make it part of your group culture. Romantasy (fantasy with a strong romantic plot); The Chalice and the Blade series (romantic fantasy)(instead of fantastical romance); tough marketing term because romantasy doesn't necessarily have an HEA. Spice levels up front in marketing copy. Keywords: romantic fantasy Be proud of your sex scenes. It's okay to explore it. Sam is thrilled to talk about something unrelated to Hyperion (or is it?) with one of his favorite franchises: Noah Wyle! Sorry, that's Danielle's favorite franchise. It's the 2008 final installment of The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice (yes, that Judas). It's about vampires! And bible retcons! And opera! When Flynn Carsen (Noah Wyle!) banishes yet another woman he's dating into the ether because of his job, he realizes he has to take a vacay or his mission to be the World's Worst Librarian will never be fulfilled. After a dream leads him on a jet-setting vacation to New Orleans during stock-footage season, he meets the mysterious jazz club singer… Simone? Sabrina? Lilian? Doesn't matter, she'll just end up in the ether anyway. They quickly (she quicker than him) realize that they're being tailed by astoundingly terrible henches in search of an artifact that manages to bring back vampires from the dead. You guessed it! The Judas Chalice. Apparently, Judas was cursed to be a vampire? Apparently, his death is like a parallel to vampire lore? Apparently, Judas was a superstar? We don't know! But it's great! When the evil henches and co. find the long-dead body of Dracula and want to resurrect him (for the usual reasons: army of undead?), Simone (probably) and Flynn find themselves on a race to find the chalice before the world is destroyed. Per usual, Flynn creates more problems than he solves. If you like your theology brought to you by Book Retorts (and who doesn't if you got through Hyperion) and Noah Wyle Venus flynn-trapping women into the ether (and who doesn't, because helloooooo Noah), then this one's for you!

This week's staff enjoys the third, final and favorite Librarian film; link up the Warehouse 13 and Librarian(s) timelines; discuss how Stana Katic is a HUGE step up for the series so far; the 007 spoof and auction budget; the new Library knowledge; give kudos to composer Joseph LoDuca; how Jonathan Frakes personally inspired SP musically; the improved CGI; all the vampire lore; the amazing Bruce Davidson; and the future dynamic casino duo Dealer Carolyn and Pit Boss Shannon.

Purple Pants Podcast | May Premonitions: Who All Gonna Be There? Sometimes when the invite comes in, our first thought is: “Who all gonna be there?”—and this month's Premonitions leans all the way into that energy. Whether it's showing up in a space, a conversation, or even a new season of life, we're unpacking what it means to check in with yourself, your heart, and your community. In a role-reversal twist, Brice takes the lead pulling from Gary's Tarot for You and Me: A Queer Deck and Guidebook, drawing the Siblings of Chalice and Child of Chalice. With those cards guiding us, we dive into vulnerability, connection, and the beauty of returning to the things that light us up—even if we're a little rusty. This month, we're talking:• Opening your heart and letting people in• Reconciliation—with others and yourself• Letting love find you, even when you're not looking• Showing up as your full, messy, beautiful self• Starting fresh, trying new things, and allowing space for joy and mistakes At the end of the day, it doesn't matter who all gonna be there—because you're gonna be there. And that's enough.
