Hello everyone, welcome back to another episode! Today, I will be talking to you about my thoughts on the idea of ‘Medical Gothic' - the horror of our body and the ethics of medicine. Hello! Today, I would like to share with you all a favourite story of mine: Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Jones. I also love this story thanks to the movie adaptation made by Studio Ghibli. If you have any feedbacks for me please do so! anchor.fm/annsannotations
Today, I am going to expand on what I have said previously about female ghosts in Asian Gothic. I hope you guys don't mind a few grammar mistakes, since English is not my first language, and I was rambling on at some points and had a few slip of the tongue. Anyway, hope you guys will enjoy it! If you guys want to submit ideas you would like to hear about, then please don't hesitate to do so at: anchor.fm/annsannotations
Hi! Welcome to the first episode! Today I will be talking about my thoughts on Asian Gothic, after I felt inspired by an essay about it. The content is more like an overview, but if you guys would like me to go into details, please do let me know. It is my first so the audio isn't the greatest, and I did waffle quite a bit - though I did try to edit it so that it is more coherent. One more thing is that the way I pronounced ‘ancestral' sounded a bit like ‘incestral' - just pointing it up in case you wonder what I was saying! Nevertheless, I do hope you guys enjoy it! If you have feedbacks, please send it through here: https://anchor.fm/annsannotations
Hello! Welcome to Ann's ANNotation. This is just a short recording to introduce to you guys what my aim is for this podcast and its future content!
