Riders packed trains on Friday to see four new stations on the One Line, which now stops in Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace, and Lynnwood. At the 148th Street Station, Shoreline celebrated the occasions with a marching band, speeches, and bubble machines. The suburb has been planning for this moment for years, that's apparent when you step off the train.  Across I-5 from the light rail station, new apartment buildings are going up. Townhomes line a couple blocks near Meridian Avenue. There's also road work to add larger sidewalks and traffic-calming roundabouts.  The city is encouraging density and building infrastructure to support more pedestrians, and this is an effort most every city in the state is struggling with. There is one true promise keeper - God. None of us were even nominated or received honorable mention. No "A" for effort. It is an unchanging and eternal promise for those who believe, which began in the days of Abraham and carried through to the Seed - Jesus Christ. Once the Seed had come, the Jewish people were no longer considered as being under the "guardian" ... known as the law of commandments. Many from the twelve tribes would struggle with Paul's message along these lines. But because of this truth—both Jew and Gentile were able to begin to identify as children of a royal family by faith. The law was a dead-end street and was not connected to the faith freeway. But those who belong to Christ are considered as Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. In episode 200, founder of Prep Dish Allison Schaaf discusses her experience with the One Line a Day Journal and suggests a unique and meaningful gift idea for your wish list, or to give to others! ‌Allison shares insight into her nearly daily practice over the past five years with the One Line a Day Journal, which is a treasured gift she received from a friend. The journal offers enough room to write about one sentence for each day in the year, and is structured so that you can see what was written on that same day from years prior. Allison has enjoyed the ability to peek into previous entries from the same day and see how far she's come. She's learned how much of her life really is seasonal, like certain family visits year over year being scheduled on the same weekend as the year before. ‌The One Line a Day Journal allows writers to document things like weather, milestones with the kids or at work, and special birthday celebrations with friends and family. Allison highly recommends this journal as a gift idea to give to someone, or to ask as a gift for yourself. The gift could also be embellished with a nice pen set if your price point is on the higher side. Other journaling items she recommends are The Artist's Way and The 5 Minute Journal. ‌‌ Connect with Allison: PrepDish.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/prepdish/ Get your FREE mealplan at PrepDish.com/podcast OR text the word mealprep to 33777 ‌ Resources mentioned in this podcast: Get your free trial at prepdish.com/mpm for two weeks of free meal plans!
