It's a live-streamed Summer Sizzler as we crack open some crispy ones and travel back to August of 1990 where we encounter Texas Tornados, New York sewer rats, heavy undertones of slavery and racism and witness the Ultimate Warrior defend his gold against arch nemesis Rick Rude in a steel cage match, plus more! It's WWF Summerslam 1990; The Heat Returns!!

For the first time ever, we don't go back in time but review a modern day PPV event. In the midst of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic we had a chat about WWE's attempt to entertain the masses and bring some cheer to fans. We kept our social distancing, don't worry. A very, very bizarre wrestling show to say the least; WWE Wrestlemania 36!!

It's Champion vs. Champion, Title vs. Title, Hulksters vs. Warriors. It's THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE! Diarm sees if this Wrestlemania lives up to his fond childhood memories. Also, Roddy Piper does blackface because that's always a great idea, we hear the debut of some iconic music and things get a little gay when it comes to Rick Rude. It's Wrestlemania VI.

Are you ready to do the Wild Thing? In episode 23 we've terrible 90's rap, a ridiculous amount of tag matches, the PPV debuts of a hardcore icon and a deadman and another barn-burner between the Nature Boy and the Total Package. It's WCW WrestleWar 1990: Wild Thing!!

We're back for the first PPV of the 90's. In this episode we say goodbye to those All-American boys; The Fabulous Rougeaus, Greg Valentine and Ronnie Garvin clatter the piss out of each other, Jim Duggan still won't do the fucking job and of course the 30 man Royal Rumble match where Hogan and Warrior sew the seeds for Wrestlemania VI. The 80's are over. But before we wave goodbye and give our final thoughts on the decade that started the wrestling boom, we've to watch Hulk Hogan like we've NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE!! That is, his terrible acting as Rip Thomas in the 1989 cinematic non-hit No Holds Barred!! Followed by No Holds Barred: The Match! After that we discuss what we did and didn't like about wrestling of the 1980's and who or what surprised us.

The 80's are coming to a close, and to celebrate WCW and the NWA decided to find out who would be the star of the 90's with a very special edition of Starrcade. We also discuss the year that was 1989 and how underappreciated The Ultimate Warrior was (at least Diarm does anyway)
