We finish up the DEFINITIVE REVIEW of Survivor Series 1988! I am once again joined by my brother Jesse, as we talk the second half of the PPV event. First, it's Team Jake "The Snake" & "Hacksaw" Duggan vs. Team Andre the Giant & Dino Bravo. Jake's revenge on Rick Rude, Andre's phobia, the return of Harley Race, Mr. Perfect's streak, Vince's obsession with protecting Dino Bravo, Hacksaw always avoiding pinfalls when eliminated, Ken Patera finishing up, Scott Casey replacing a replacement, & more. Then it's onto the main event when Team Mega Powers meet Team Twin Towers. We discuss the odd choices to fill out the teams, and the even odder showdowns in the ring. A Hillbilly and his ROOSTER. The slave/master battle continues between Hercules and the Million Dollar Man. King Haku shines. It's a double schmoz for the Boss Man & Akeem as they put down the Mega Powers but find themselves eliminated. While Randy Savage battles for survival, the Hulkster & "pickpocket" Miss Elizabeth overcome the "Dr. of Style" Slick's antics on the outside. We breakdown the finish of the match, and Hogan's need to pose versus checking on his partner. Then, an exclusive interview as Jesse Ventura questions Macho Man's feelings towards Hulk Hogan. Randy denies any issues, but Ventura sees it differently. The seeds are firmly planted here at the end of this epic night of action! Please Subscribe to our Patreon to help pay the bills, https://www.patreon.com/wrestlecopiaIncludes the $5 “All Access” Tier & $9 "VIP Superfan" Tier featuring our VIDEO CASTS, Patreon Watch-Along Series, our insanely detailed show notes (for the Grenade, Monday Warfare, Regional Rasslin, Puro Academy, & Retro Re-View), Early Show Releases, REMASTERED editions of the early Grenade episodes including NEW content! Scott Casey said he hasn't talked about his trauma in 13 years. Talking about emotions is hard but I haven't met anyone yet that has said they regret talking about them. Thanks for being on the10ninety podcast Scott and opening up. "Of all things trauma takes away from us, the worst is our willingness, or even our ability, to be vulnerable. There's reclaiming that has to happen" -Brene Brown

WARNING: THERE IS SOUND AND CONNECTION ISSUES DURING THIS INTERVIEW. I TRIED TO FIX IT THE BEST I COULD. STEPS WILL BE TAKEN FOR THE NEXT INTERVIEW TO PREVENT THESE ISSUES. Sat down and had a great conversation with Sunny Beach last night. Unfortunately we had to cut it short however we agreed to shoot a part two very soon. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/rick252/support

Monte & The Pharaoh Present Scott Casey in Studio
Hello everyone and welcome once again to Motos and Friends, a weekly Podcast brought to you by the editorial team at Ultimate Motorcycling. My name is Arthur Coldwells. The new Suzuki V-Strom DE has just been announced, and Avery Innis, Training and Publications Manager from Suzuki Motor USA, is just the expert to explain its nuances to us. The V-Strom has always been a superb, yet inexpensive platform, and the new DE variant gets more serious about ADV riding. I find out from Avery whether the new upgrades are worthwhile; and the place that the new V-Strom has in the current market. Our second segment covers a subject that's a little more serious than usual. Many veterans and first responders suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, aka PTSD. Scott Casey—himself a sufferer—decided to try and help his fellow vets, and started a cross-Canada charity ride in 2016 called the ‘Rolling Barrage'. It was—and is—incredibly successful. It's not just a tremendous ride. The Rolling Barrage is a place for like-minded sufferers and their supporters to ride together. They get some serious “wind therapy” whether it's on just a stop, or a leg of the ride, one day, a weekend, or even the whole ride. Scott opens up with Associate Editor Teejay Adams about his personal history, and how he came to create such a brilliant and worthy real-world event that truly helps. The Rolling Barrage is a supportive network of brothers and sisters. To quote Scott Casey: “this is the family you never knew you had”. Comments or suggestions? Message producer@ultimatemotorcycling.com The Rolling Barrage Ghostkeepers DONATE The Rolling Barrage It was a Nation exploding into civil war. In 1992, the collapse of the former Yugoslavia triggered an international armed conflict that would last more than 3 years and eventually see nearly 100,000 people killed. Canadians were thrown into what was declared a peacekeeping mission, but it wasn't. They were going well beyond the rules of engagement that were provided by the UN. Told by Scott Casey, Former Canadian Peacekeeper.
On this week's episode, Jeremiah and Quinton review two matches. The first match is from WCCW Christmas Star Wars on 12-25-1985. The second match is a WWF Title Match from a taping of Saturday Night's Main Event on 12-19-1985. The TV air date was 1-4-1986. Hulk Hogan w/JYD vs Terry Funk w/Jimmy Hart. This is a special series dedicated to supporting the success of the RCL. There are several Legion Branches across the country which are struggling, and several others which have closed down. And yet, there are other branches which are thriving. The intent of this series is to investigate why some branches thrive, while others wither away. At the end of this series, I will do a conclusion episode with the do's and don'ts of successful branches. This roadmap to success will be available to all branches, and to National Command. It is my sincere hope that the Legion embraces this information to create a plan to move forward, and ensure the survival and success of the RCL. When the Legion succeeds, the entire Veteran community succeeds. It is crucial that the RCL continues to be a cornerstone of Veteran support and advocacy. This can only be done by attracting more Veterans into leadership roles within the organization. Attracting more Veterans can only be done by creating a warm and welcoming environment for the Veteran community. Please share this episode with as many Legion members as you can. Together we can save the Royal Canadian Legion. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tango-romeo/message

The Return of Cowboy Scott Casey ... AND A WHOLE LOT MORE!!! WITH LES THATCHER, BEAUTIFUL BRUCE SWAYZE & EDDY MANSFIELD More About Cowboy Scott Casey "My first exposure to Southwest Championship Wrestling came in early 1983 when I happened to turn on the TV one Saturday morning to a new UHF station in the Baltimore, MD area called WNUV54 and saw my first SWCW TV show. I was certainly surprised to see a wrestling show based out of San Antonio, TX on TV in a WWF market, but I was a loyal viewer from the beginning. I was able to see on TV every Saturday morning, main event type match-ups that I would only see from the WWF if I paid to go to a house show. The SWCW angles came at you fast and furious, unlike the WWF where angles for the most part were not as prevalent as in the NWA and AWA promotions. Every week an angle played out on SWCW TV, such as "Cowboy" Scott Casey pouring a bucket of pig droppings over the head of "Hangman" Bobby Jaggers, Tully Blanchard bringing in bounty hunters to pile drive "Mr. Piledriver" Bob Sweetan and the numerous brawls between the Masked Grapplers and their tag team rivals Ricky Morton and Ken Lucas." - Tim Bland ONE LAST RIDE-THE TALE OF COWBOY SCOTT CASEY About the Book Saddle up as "Cowboy" Scott Casey takes you on an unforgettable ride into the world of Professional Wrestling. Cowboy Scott Casey Scott Casey began his wrestling career around 1970 and in his early career spent nine years in Joe Blanchard's Southwest Championship Wrestling promotion. On August 30, 1983 Casey defeated Adrian Adonis to win the Southwest Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship.[2] A month later, on September 11 he defeated Tully Blanchard to win the SWCW Southwest Heavyweight Championship.[3] In September, Casey also held the SWCW Southwest Tag Team Championship with Buddy Mareno, replacing the 'injured' Bobby Jaggers.[4] After leaving SCW he went to World Class Championship Wrestling where he was managed by Sunshine. Casey and Sunshine would also bring in The Great Kabuki in a feud with Jim Cornette and Midnight Express, and later Kabuki after he turned on Scott and Sunshine. John Tatum and Missy Hyatt would also show up and work a program with Casey and Sunshine too. However he would leave WCCW in the middle of the program and Sunshine would keep the program going with other wrestlers involved.
