We back are to talk about one of the most stacked wrestling weekend in recent memory, ALL IN, Great American Bash, Saturday Night Main Event and Evolution plus the news and notes to come out of these events! Tap in wherever you enjoy your audio podcasts.
Take a deep breath because with all of the wrestling from last weekend you have little time to rest before SummerSlam. After so many wrestling shows, we have so much to get through and unfortunately it's not all good news: Adam Cole was pulled from AEW All In for an injury that was severe enough that he considered immediate retirement. And Seth Rollins has apparently hurt his knee again– thus upending WWE's presumed plans for the next several months. We break down the implications there, plus some things that actually made us happy: Roman Reigns is back! And Evolution was an absolutely KILLER show, top to bottom. The Main Event: Evolution + Naomi's Big WinSunday was a big day for Naomi and the World Championship. Jade Cargill and Naomi showed out in their Falls Count Anywhere match; Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley absolutely delivered in the main event before Naomi set the world on fire with her Money in the Bank cash-in. And now she's the World Champion! The Three Count:Danielle put over getting ready for a Big Show.Lindsey put over the longest tenured WWE superstar of all time.Hal put over Becky mfin' Lynch.Hosted by Hal Lublin, Lindsey Kelk, and Danielle Radford.Produced by Julian Burrell for Maximum Fun. The music for our new promo is provided by Incompetech.comIf you want to talk about more wrestling throughout the week be sure to join us on BlueSky, TikTok and Instagram. If you liked the show, please share it with your friends and be sure to leave us a quick review on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get podcasts.
Surprise! With so much wrestling last weekend, we couldn't fit it all into just one pod! Uncle Naitch jumps back in the hosting chair with the OGs to discuss All In, Saturday Night's Main Event, and Great American Bash. Also, could the Seth injury be a work? And we all let our feelings about Goldberg be heard. In the latest episode of The Squared Circle Time Machine, we look back at one of the worst pay-per-views of all time in the 1991 Great American Bash from WCW. In this episode, we are joined by HypSports legend RickinBaltimore, who was at the Baltimore Arena in July of 1991, and we get his first-hand perspective on the crowd's reaction to Ric Flair leaving WCW and how they took their anger out during the entire show. We also get some funny stuff, including the debut of Eric Bischoff in WCW, Kevin Nash as Oz, a Scaffold Match with capture the flag rules, and El Gigante coming out to the ring with four little people! "WE WANT FLAIR! WE WANT FLAIR! WE WANT FLAIR!"

Brandon Tanguma is back with another solo recap, but this week he's here to cover all the major events that took place this weekend. Beginning with AEW's biggest show of the year, All In, culminating with Adam Page dethroning the Death Riders in a bloody Texas Death Match. NXT's Great American Bash emanated from the legendary Center Stage in Atlanta, with Ethan Page and Ricky Saints in a falls count any match and Blake Monroe's in-ring NXT television debut. Goldberg had his final match at Saturday Night's Main Event, but Seth Rollins' knee injury has thrown WWE's plans into limbo. Finally, WWE's second Evolution show with a stellar triple-threat match for the IC title, and a MITB cash-in from Naomi to end the night. Have a question? Wrestling Tonight: Episode 132 arrives at a moment where nearly every major promotion is pushing forward at once. AEW, WWE, NXT, TNA, ROH, and NJPW all have significant developments converging on a single weekend—each with something to prove and plenty to deliver. At the center is AEW All In: Texas, relocated from London's Wembley Stadium to Globe Life Field in Arlington. What began as a necessary shift has taken on new meaning, as AEW presents a lineup centered on legacy, rivalry, and change. Jon Moxley and Hangman Page revisit their violent history in a Texas Death Match. Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada meet again, years removed from their Tokyo Dome series, with both the Continental and International titles on the line. Toni Storm defends the AEW Women's Championship against Mercedes Moné, while The Young Bucks stake their executive roles against the rising challenge of Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay. Jim Ross returns to commentary, bringing a familiar voice back for a match that helped define this generation of wrestling. Meanwhile, WWE is poised for a major double-header. Evolution returns for the first time since 2018 as a full-scale PLE, headlined by Tiffany Stratton vs. Trish Stratus and IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley. Naomi and Jade Cargill aim to settle a personal score in a No Holds Barred match, and the tag and NXT titles are also in play. The night before, The Great American Bash sees NXT continue its partnership with TNA, including a tag match previewing Jordynne Grace's title shot, and Oba Femi defending the NXT Championship against Yoshiki Inamura. Trick Williams, Joe Hendry, and Mike Santana also meet for a contract signing ahead of their Slammiversary main event. Saturday Night's Main Event returns to NBC with a mix of nostalgia and current stakes. Gunther defends the World Heavyweight Title against Goldberg in what's being promoted as a retirement match. Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre continue their long-running rivalry, while Seth Rollins faces LA Knight with SummerSlam implications. Outside the ring, the broader landscape continues to shift. John Cena has confirmed his retirement match will take place in December. AJ Styles has signed a one-year extension, with the end of his in-ring career likely on the horizon. Tony Khan has commented on AEW's openness to international partnerships, while WWE's legal battle with Janel Grant intensifies, with new filings drawing in board-level communications and discovery disputes. Supercard of Honor adds more to the weekend, with Bandido vs. Konosuke Takeshita, Athena vs. Thunder Rosa, and The Infantry finally earning a shot at ROH tag team gold. Scorpio Sky also made his return on Collision, ending a long period of uncertainty in his AEW career. In Japan, the G1 Climax field is now finalized, with Ryohei Oiwa set to make his debut and YOSHI-HASHI returning for the first time since 2022. Gabe Kidd retained his IWGP Global Championship over Hiroshi Tanahashi, then publicly declared his intention to win the tournament—further solidifying his place in NJPW's next wave. This weekend marks not just a milestone, but a reflection of wrestling's current landscape interconnected, transitional, and constantly evolving.
