Whats up Kin! I'm back with an all new episode featuring my old friend Eddy Jabour who is now CastGRIT Life's new Co-Host!! We spend this episode catching up from the time I last recorded and what interested him in partnering up with me to bring you new and exciting CastGRIT content this 2023 and beyond! We share some great drams, drinking 7 year old Old Ezra straight bourbon, while laughing and telling great stories about how we see the world today and whats in our future. What's up Kin! Sometimes, life throws you a bone and you get to meet real good people. That was the case with this episode's guest. David reminds us that we're all human and we make mistakes. However, it's what you learn and carry forward that truely matters at the end of the day. Stories like the fact that even though he's been the subject of countless incidents of racism and prejudice, his passion for life and unwavering patriotism for the United States of America is something we can all learn from. It finally happened CastGRIT Kin! Our first unedited episode! Why you say? It's Leo's fault and he owns it...Lol So in this episode, we cover a lot of ground. From the treatment of men with and without beards, daddy's little girl getting married, and the Vikings vs. Game of Thrones debate. We also spent some time talking about the Ukraine/Russia war and how much respect we have for everyday "non-military" citizens sacrificing themselves to fight for what they believe in...That ladies and gentlemen, is some castGRIT sh*t!!! In this episode, we had the pleasure of having a long time good friend join us at the table. Amongst many laughs, we learn what the American Dream means to him and he reminds us of the value of Freedom. We take a dive into the hot topic of "Policing in America" and discuss how things could be so much better if we conducted ourselves as citizens worth serving. This is part 2 in our 2 part series with Ray! We continue our conversation from part 1 as Ray shares with us more moments in his journey to bring his wife Lia to rest. Ray talks about how he had to find that "other" gear to get his family through those tough times and how they could not have done it without the help of "Their Village". We were once again humbled to share solemn moments together over some drams, and yes some laughs, as he described what he was feeling and the roles he took during the final moments with his wife Lia.
