So how do we do this and how do we determine that we've truly determined "who's first?"

A classic Christmas Carol uses the phrase, "Tis the season to be jolly." But, what if we don't FEEL jolly? How do we focus on the positive when everything seems dark? What do we do when it's Christmas, but nothing seems "merry and bright?" Discover how to celebrate Christmas in spite of the circumstances, for the angel said, "I bring you GOOD TIDINGS of GREAT JOY."
When Christmas becomes something it was never intended in our lives, it's likely due to the fact that we have forgotten why we celebrate this day. Yes, it's about a Baby Jesus in a manger. Baby WHO? JESUS! If we miss the purpose for His name and the reason He came in the first place, our celebration of Christmas becomes empty and futile. Let's rethink Christmas and consider HIS NAME and the reason why that name is so critical.
The Christmas Story is filled with angel encounters and dreams. It all seems so strange and distant, but is it, really? Does God still use holy angels and God-originated dreams with Christians today?
It's easy for us to fall into a rut, mindlessly meandering through the Christmas season. This year, let's rethink HOW and WHY we celebrate Christmas. Before Jesus arrived, there was a deluge of Holy Spirit activity to prepare the way for His arrival. What the Holy Spirit did then, He's doing now to prepare the way for the Second Coming of Jesus! Are you a participant in the story?

Often our lives are obsessed with looking at our phones, staring at the stressful situations around us, and getting frustrated with the things we can't fix. What if we change our perspective and lift up our eyes instead? All through the Bible, people did this, and it brought about significant results. It's time to stop seeing yourself as small, insignificant and barely surviving. Lift up your eyes and discover the power of God and receive fresh vision and perspective!
Discouragement is an evil tactic from Hell that attempts to pull us down, drain our faith and cause us to give up. Sometimes the things we see, hear, think and feel are actually set-ups from the Enemy to reduce us to rubble. How do we break out of discouragement and thrive again? How can we find new courage to take that bold step of faith toward what God has promised?
Thoughts precede action, whether for the positive or the negative. Negative thinking patterns pull us down, make us ineffective, and cause us to be extremely vulnerable to the schemes of the devil. How can we better manage our thought lives as we aim for victory?
Sin stinks. It really does! It starts with temptations and fleshly cravings. We desire to have or to do something we believe will satisfy us. Unfortunately, sin bites and it often bites hard, keeping us from victory, and impacting those around us. So, how can we be victorious over sin, resist temptation and walk in spiritual wholeness?
One of the most memorable stories in the Bible is the Battle of Jericho. But, what was happening behind the scenes that we tend to easily overlook? How can we walk in the faith of Joshua that causes God to supernaturally intervene in impossible situations? Prepare to be challenged to make your faith for miracles effective for Victory!
This message is a word of wisdom and caution. Far too often, believers get discouraged in their walk with God, feeling let down by the Lord, or the believing that God didn't hear our prayers. We didn't get the victory we expected, and we just want to give up. So, this word of caution is to not haphazardly attempt to advance forward without properly positioning yourself! Let's learn from Joshua.
Caution! Don't haphazardly attempt a major victory without properly positioning yourself spiritually! As Joshua and the Children of Israel camped at the Jordan River outside the Promised Land, anticipation built regarding the prospect of the victories ahead. But, God needed them to position their hearts for victory before they crossed the Jordan River. Discover how we also must position our hearts and minds for victory BEFORE taking action.
In our tumultuous world, God has already given us keys to soar above the chaos and take brave steps of faith. As we focus on the Book of Joshua, expect to receive encouragement and hope. If you are in a season of waiting, or if you need renewed strength and courage, expect to step forward in God's calling! There is HOPE for VICTORY, and God's words for Joshua are for all of us.

Did you know that God designed us to be powerful agents of the Holy Spirit on a daily basis? Are you aware that Jesus said we would even do "greater works" than Him because the 3rd Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, would dwell in us? Discover how to be God's agent in your home, in the community and among believers.
We live in a culture of envy and selfishness; a culture of never having enough and never being satisfied. We often don’t allow ourselves to enjoy life unless we have met the expectations of ourselves and others. Those expectations are like ever shifting goalposts that take the wind out of our sails, stoking the flame of worry, anxiety and misery! What does the Word of God say about this, and how can we unlock, as the Apostle Paul calls it: “The Secret of Contentment”?
The forces of hell are against us, and the devil uses our carnal, fleshly desires to pull us down to keeping us from flourishing as children of God. We don't have to allow that to happen, though. One of the most enlightening studies in the Bible is the Fruit of the Spirit and the Works of the Flesh in Galatians 5. In this message, we will dive into the meaning behind what is written and apply to our lives so we can break out of darkness through the power of the Holy Spirit. You CAN be victorious!
Personal character development is not part of the gospel. Instead, Jesus commanded his disciples to "bear much fruit." But, how does this happen? What is this "fruit" Jesus is talking about? Quite often we see our Christian lives as something we have to strive to maintain and work hard to "bear much fruit." But, is that really God's plan for us? If we're really going to walk in the Spirit, we absolutely must know how to "bear much fruit." Let's discover how!
Most believers want to be led by the Spirit, but we often make it too mystical. One of the ways the Holy Spirit leads us is through "conviction." How do we tap into greater dimensions of Holy Spirit conviction and how can we keep it on the forefront of our lives? His conviction will literally take us to new places in our lives and significantly deepen our relationship with Jesus.
Our lives are often messy, in need of constant work from the Holy Spirit. He works with us to cleans us from filth and deals with our spiritual dryness so we can thrive in our marriages, personal lives, and overcome darkness, making us more like Christ. The Holy Spirit is most often represented by a dove. But what does that have to do with us? What does the dove actually do in our lives, and what did Jesus mean when he referred to the Holy Spirit as rivers of living water?
The 3rd Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, is the source of much misunderstanding resulting in both silence and extremism in the church of today. This doesn’t need to be the case. Today we embark on a journey to understand and apply the Person and work of the Holy Spirit into our personal lives. Far too many Christians are spiritually lame because they do not understand nor appropriate what it means to walk in the Spirit. Let’s change this today!

Is there hope for America? If so, what is our role as believers? What should we be doing differently in these troubled times?
