In this episode I introduce Canva.com to people who are unfamiliar with the platform or who don't know its full potential.Did you know you can create CD Covers, Book Covers, Postcards, Animated Social Media Posts, Flyers, Business Cards, and much much more?Easy to use and the idea generation is amazing.

In this episode I wrap up the past 5 weeks of email platforms podcasts. I talk a bit about each platform that was discussed in detail earlier and I make some recommendations based on what you may need from your email platform. While not easy sometimes I do mention that you can always change platforms.Depending on the work you do, level of knowledge, and where you are in the learning process I offer 1 or 2 options. I even make a recommendation for those of you what are at wits end and just want to get going.

This week I discuss Active Campaign , https://bit.ly/3bQ6DhQ , an email platform that has just about everything covered with a few extras that take things up a notch.Besides some nice popup options for email capture, work flows, and email templates there are some other nice features. If you want to get into segmentation, triggers, flows, and advanced automation sequences then this is the ticket.Easy to use pricing tool and preset automations are indicators that they have not forgotten the new guys. Recommended by some of the top leaders in the content creation space, myself included, I think this is an up and coming platform in the email marketing space.

In this episode I talk about the benefits of Mailchimp as an email platform to use.While there are numerous new and exciting features around Mailchimp there is still one area that drives me crazy. I admit there are some new features like websites, domains, and event triggers, that I did not know about. In this episode I take a look at Getpocket.com, a great tool for holding content you discover all over the place. Save from your phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, or any other device and find that info later in the same place. The tool is free and premium.If you are a marketer who deals with content, social media, seo, or any other digital medium you are probably grabbing content from multiple sources.Like anything with the internet its not about information its about finding the right information and using it appropriately. In this episode I talk about about Google Alerts which is a free tool and can be found here https://www.google.com/alerts. This tool allows you to monitor several things that affect your online reputation. You can set alerts for mentions of your business name, products, key executives, competitor names, and industry terms. Monitoring these areas makes sure you stay on top of your reputation online.Triggers can also be set for when someone using your content or links to your content. This is a great opportunity to reach out to people who are using and crediting you online. In this episode we talk about one function of using Google Search Console - getting your pages indexed. When you put out new content it can take several days to get indexed by Google and many time you want that to happen much quicker. Indexing means the page has been crawled, if the page has been crawled it does NOT mean it has been indexed. If you want your content to show up on Google then you need it indexed. Always on the hunt for tools that will give us lots of stuff, for free, I want to share the Ubersuggest tool with you. Found on the Neil Patel website it provides a ton of info on keywords, who is using them, articles and links. While I only looked at one small aspect of this tool there was quite a bit to chew on.
