We discuss our new podcast, what happened that made us start this new podcast and what the future holds for it. We go around the table to talk about what you can expect on our first official show coming this week. We hope to you enjoy this weeks short episode, until we bring you our first official episode next week. Happy Holidays! You can find Pod Disney at; http://podisney.com
Well, I was going to post this edition on Christmas Day itself, but I was up til about 11:15pm & literally fell asleep & couldn't post the episode. But, it's here now! And on this edition, we recap the 2007 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade! Note that some pieces in here were from the actual recording of the show a month ago, some were from the show itself, & some are from CD. Here's what we feature: Kicking off the special will be a blockbuster performance from the hit show Dancing With The Stars. Newly crowned champion Helio Castroneves, Sabrina Bryan, Joey Fatone, & Drew Lachey with their professional dance partners Julianne Hough, Mark Ballas, Kym Johnson, & Cheryl Burke will perform an original holiday dance number choreographed by Dancing With The Stars dancer Tony Dovolani & sung by Grammy Award-winning Latin singer Jon Secada. One of the hottest musical trios performing today, sibling pop-rockers the Jonas Brothers, sing one of their latest tunes, a seasonal pop-rock song titled "Girl of My Dreams." Songstress & R&B legend Patti LaBelle, who recently released her newest CD, Miss Patti's Christmas, will perform "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." American Idol sweetheart Katharine McPhee will perform a Disney Princess-inspired number, singing a medley of some of Disney's classic tunes. Stars from Disney Channel's blockbusters High School Musical & High School Musical 2-- Vanessa Hudgens , Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, & Ashley Tisdale -- will give a holiday twist to one of the popular tunes from High School Musical 2. The group performs a customized version of the hit song "What Time Is It?" and answers the song title's question with a new musical answer, "It's Christmas Time!" Note that there are a couple of audio faults in this section. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! America's hottest entertainment sensation, Miley Cyrus, the multi-talented performer & star of Disney Channel's popular series "Hannah Montana," will sing the energetic, seasonal favorite "All I Want for Christmas is You." Multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jessica Simpson will bring the curtain down on this year's special with a moving rendition of the Christmas classic, "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." Joining Simpson will be the world-famous, New York-based Harlem Gospel Choir that has performed for Nelson Mandela & the late Pope John Paul II. And finally, from the new Enchanted soundtrack that I received in my mail, it's Carrie Underwood's "Ever Ever After"!
This episode of the Everything Disney Podcast was completely re-recorded at the Disneyland Resort! We feature live audio, with no stops, at Disney's Electrical Parade & Believe In Holiday Magic! Oh, & by the way... Believe in Holiday Magic was canceled, so they showed an extended version of the Castle Lighting Show, which featured the traditional snow on Main Street!
On this edition of the Everything Disney Podcast's Corny Christmas Season, 2 more classic cartoons!
On this edition of the 2nd season of the Everything Disney Podcast's Corny Christmas Season, we present a couple of classic Disney Christmas cartoons. First from 1942, it's Donald's Snow Fight. And then from 1949, it's Donald messing about with Chip & Dale (or the other way around!), in Toy Tinkers! We only have 4 more editions of the Corny Christmas Season left this year, & they will be released on 12/22, 12/26, 12/29, & 1/1!
I've got no new live Disney Christmas audio yet, but don't worry I'll be at Disneyland this Friday to get some. So this week I'm going to bring you some source Christmas audio pieces. Including, in in order, It's a Small World Holiday, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade, & Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas! Also in this show, a look back, & a look forward to the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade. And also the introduction of a new segment, looking at classic Disney cartoons. This week- Der Fuehrer's Face! And if you're wondering what this episode's album artwork is, then check out this MiceAge article; http://www.miceage.com/allutz/al121307a.htm
On this edition of the Corny Christmas Season, I present a 1978 film called the Small One. Hope y'all enjoy!
A special announcement, a Muppet Family Christmas, & more in this edition of the Corny Christmas Season!
On this week's show, we return to Disneyland for a couple of live pieces. After I introduce the show & go through some housekeeping, we bring you live audio of a Christmas Fantasy Parade. It includes the pre-parade staring Giselle from Enchanted, with a very nice song from the movie accompanying it. And then I bring you my second recording of Haunted Mansion Holiday. This one didn't come out as good as the one in Episode #85. I feel the cast members at DL's Haunted Mansion aren't as good as WDW's, & the whole Foyer scene is often skipped over for the guests, like it was this time. Also, some stupid guests would not stop talking during the Stretching Room. Now that REALLY pisses me off!!! Finally this week, I tell a tale of how an evil bear named Winnie the Pooh invaded the Country Bear Playhouse at Disneyland, & play source audio of the beloved Country Bear Christmas Special. Which can't be seen at Walt Disney World either now! For more on the Spaceship Earth refurbishment, please go to WDW News Today, & look at the videos on the front page, & download Episode #20 of the WDWNT Podcast! http://www.wdwnewstoday.com
Boy have I got a treat for y'ah today!!! Now, I had promised at the end of the last Corny Christmas Season episode, that I'd be bringing you a certain Muppet Christmas special. But since then I got an email from Chris of the Brooklyn Mouse Podcast, & he gave me the audio of an old episode of the Wonderful World of Color- Holiday Time at Disneyland!!! I am REALLY PROUD to present this audio to you guys, & I hope you enjoy it!
We're back with the second episode in Season 2 of Everything Disney's Corny Christmas Season! Today, we bring you a full feature, this being Mickey's Christmas Carol. At the end, our Christmas song is our very own theme song, Little Saint Nick! Stay tuned for Episode 2.3 on this Saturday!!!
Today we kick off the Christmas season here on the Everything Disney Podcast. But not until the end of the show! We start off with some non-Christmas offerings, by continuing in our source audio tour of the Wonders of Life pavilion. First we have the videos from the Frontiers section, & then anything & everything you could find in Body Wars. Then we're going back, live to Disneyland, to catch the 9pm showing of Fantasmic!, from 3 weeks ago today. And finally, we kick off the Christmas season, with source audio of the Disneyland fireworks spectacular, Believe... In Holiday Magic! Be sure to download a new episode of the Corny Christmas Season, every Saturday & Wednesday, right here on the Everything Disney Podcast feed!
Welcome to the first episode in the second season of the Everything Disney Podcast's Corny Christmas Season! Today is what you might call a teaser show. We have for you 2 very little things. First, an old Pluto cartoon from the 40's, called Pluto's Christmas Tree. And then a little Muppety bonus! Stay tuned to the end for our Christmas song for this show, Ashley Tisdale performing "Last Christmas". Be on the look-out for a Corny Christmas Season episode every Saturday & Wednesday through to New Years!
Today, as promised last week, we take a look into the wondeful World of Motion! We start things off with a brief, summarized history of World of Motion. We then take a listen to the source audio ride-through of the ride. The quality of it isn't that good, I tried to up the bit rate, but the quality still isn't incredibly good. And then we briefly look at Test Track, with some history & a live recording of it, recorded by moi down in Walt Disney World this past June. Finally, we return the Wonders of Life, for the 1st of 3 source audio pieces I found, this one being from Cranium Command. Including the pre-show & main show! And stay tuned before next week's show, with the first in this season, of the Corny Christmas Season!
We're back with a completely Live Show! We haven't done one of these in 4 shows! That's a record for us, hehe... This live show takes you on Peter Pan's Flight, It's a Small World Holiday, Gadget's Go-Coaster, & Space Mountain! Please note: During the live recording of this audio last weekend, I was having a few technical difficulties with either my iRiver, or my Lapel Mic. So at sometimes there were fuzzy pee-popping noises in the left channel. I edited the worst of these out, which means at sometimes, you'll only hear audio in the right channel. Sorry about any inconvenience this may cause to you!
Hey y'all, & welcome to the Everything Disney Podcast for this week. We're taking you live, for a while, to Disneyland today. As we bring you Walt Disney's Parade of De...sorry, Women's Underwear! Hah, just kidding. And then we're off to Walt Disney World, for audio out of DisneyQuest, with the DisneyQuest Elevator, and the Virtual Jungle Cruise. Then we go to Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Cabelleros, ad Maelstrom. Finally at the end of the show, is a little announcement about the Everything Disney Video Podcast. And I hope you enjoy this week's show!!!
