Fans may remember Sabrina Bryan from the early 2000's girl group, The Cheetah Girls. Bryan, Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Raven~Symone (for the first two films) were huge names in households that consisted of young girls in the early 2000's. After three films associated with The Cheetah Girls, albums, sold out concert tours, and competing on Dancing with the Stars TWICE Sabrina Bryan has since walked down the isle and is currently expecting her first child, a baby girl who is due on September 6th. In this episode of "Kahnversations," we interview Christina Vidal. Christina Vidal was born and raised in Whitestone, Queens, New York. The youngest child of Puerto Rican parents Josephine and Manuel, Vidal always marched to the beat of her own drum. She began acting by chance when her junior high school teacher gave her a flyer for an open audition in the film LIFE WITH MIKEY. Eventually, Christina landed the lead role with Michael J. Fox and achieved two milestones: her professional debut and becoming the first Puerto Rican child actress to play a lead in an American film. For high school, Christina attended the Performing Arts School of New York. Vidal was just getting started. She has since appeared in many television series and specials, holding both series lead and series regular roles. Vidal is often known for her performance in the title role of Nickelodeon’s TAINA which ran for two seasons. She later went to star in FREAKY FRIDAY opposite Lindsay Lohan (2003) and SEE NO EVIL (2006). Most recently, Vidal starred in the NBC Pilot CURSE OF THE FUENTES WOMEN and also held roles in CODE BLACK, LIMITLESS, and BLUE BLOODS. She now goes on to join the cast of TRAINING DAY. A woman of many talents, Christina is also known for her musical inclinations. She has collaborated with such artists as Will Smith, Jade Villalon, and Sabrina Bryan of the Cheetah Girls. She has also contributed songs for the soundtracks of FREAKY FRIDAY, TAINA, and BYOU. In her spare time, Christina enjoys watching films; particularly those starring Julia Roberts, Ashley Judd, Sally Field, Al Pacino, and Jack Nicholson. Not solely limited to the silver screen, she can also be found binge watching DOWNTOWN ABBEY and FRIENDS. Christina loves salsa dancing, cooking for her family, and interior decorating. Her sisters Lisa and Tanya Vidal are also actors who have appeared on TV and in theatre. Her brother Christian, the only boy, rounds out her tight-knit family of 6. . There are so many inspiring podcasts with fabulous stars out there. But their careers feel light years away from ours, don’t they? Wouldn’t it be great to hear from the guy who just booked his first pilot? Or the kid finally doing a studio pic after a bunch of low budget indies? Or the woman who’s been a series regular a few times but is only now becoming a name? What about the guy who’s been on a show for years and you know his face but what’shisnameagain? Or that actress who is now a freakin’ showrunner???? How’d THEY do it, right? How did they transition from relative obscurity, bartending and bottle service, to buying that house in Brentwood? We’re producing “Kahnversations,” a podcast that provides access to THOSE people -- your immediate predecessors -- so that you can learn from them while their battle scars are still fresh. In “Kahnversations,” our own Ryan Bailey interviews some of Lesly Kahn & Company’s working actors, directors, and writers in order to learn how they got started in Hollywood, the challenges and hurdles they faced, and how they overcame the odds. (They also dish out some crazy stories!) Listen in and enjoy as these entertainers speak candidly about their paths, processes, and experiences. You might even hear a bit about how Lesly and the Kahnstitute have influenced and shaped their careers.

Things get seriously cheetah-licious this week as David and Joel look into the crossover lives of two iconic 2000s girl groups: 3LW and The Cheetah Girls. They reminisce on 3LW's debut with the Y2K R&B classic ‘No More (Baby I’ma Do Right)’, their sassy second album "A Girl Can Mack", the shock departure of band member Naturi Naughton, and the new path 3LW’s Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon forged by joining ‘The Cheetah Girls’ alongside Sabrina Bryan and Disney royalty Raven-Symoné. Joel takes David on a whirlwind journey of the Disney Channel Original Movie trilogy of The Cheetah Girls. Together they cover the runaway success of the first film and its soundtrack, 3LW’s attempt to comeback with a third album, followed by the even bigger "The Cheetah Girls 2" movie and soundtrack, then The Cheetah Girls (without Raven) recording their debut album "TCG", and the disappointing final film "Cheetah Girls: One World"... and much more! GB Design House was initially founded by Brenda Cascio as Gracious Bridal. While planning her daughter, Audrey's wedding, Brenda was underwhelmed by the lack of intriguing products and design options to match the vision she and her daughter had for custom wedding details. Inspired, she created personalized wedding gifts, accessories and favors herself, and began selling them to clients. Audrey Craig joined the company soon after launching, and in 2010 was named CEO. Over time, the business grew and expanded to events, and today they've worked with corporate clients such as Neiman Marcus, Kendra Scott, Prada, Miu-Miu, lululemon, Titos and Crown Royal, and they've helped celebrity brides such as Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Tara Lipinski and Sabrina Bryan. On this episode of the Support is Sexy podcast, Audrey and Brenda share how to know when it's time to rebrand, what steps to take to keep your customers in the loop, how to white label your services and how to work with your loved ones.

Well, I was going to post this edition on Christmas Day itself, but I was up til about 11:15pm & literally fell asleep & couldn't post the episode. But, it's here now! And on this edition, we recap the 2007 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade! Note that some pieces in here were from the actual recording of the show a month ago, some were from the show itself, & some are from CD. Here's what we feature: Kicking off the special will be a blockbuster performance from the hit show Dancing With The Stars. Newly crowned champion Helio Castroneves, Sabrina Bryan, Joey Fatone, & Drew Lachey with their professional dance partners Julianne Hough, Mark Ballas, Kym Johnson, & Cheryl Burke will perform an original holiday dance number choreographed by Dancing With The Stars dancer Tony Dovolani & sung by Grammy Award-winning Latin singer Jon Secada. One of the hottest musical trios performing today, sibling pop-rockers the Jonas Brothers, sing one of their latest tunes, a seasonal pop-rock song titled "Girl of My Dreams." Songstress & R&B legend Patti LaBelle, who recently released her newest CD, Miss Patti's Christmas, will perform "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." American Idol sweetheart Katharine McPhee will perform a Disney Princess-inspired number, singing a medley of some of Disney's classic tunes. Stars from Disney Channel's blockbusters High School Musical & High School Musical 2-- Vanessa Hudgens , Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, & Ashley Tisdale -- will give a holiday twist to one of the popular tunes from High School Musical 2. The group performs a customized version of the hit song "What Time Is It?" and answers the song title's question with a new musical answer, "It's Christmas Time!" Note that there are a couple of audio faults in this section. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! America's hottest entertainment sensation, Miley Cyrus, the multi-talented performer & star of Disney Channel's popular series "Hannah Montana," will sing the energetic, seasonal favorite "All I Want for Christmas is You." Multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jessica Simpson will bring the curtain down on this year's special with a moving rendition of the Christmas classic, "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." Joining Simpson will be the world-famous, New York-based Harlem Gospel Choir that has performed for Nelson Mandela & the late Pope John Paul II. And finally, from the new Enchanted soundtrack that I received in my mail, it's Carrie Underwood's "Ever Ever After"!
