On this Special Edition episode of the **Driving Change Podcast**, Jeff had a lively catch-up conversation with Entertainment Power couple, Lea and Drew Lachey. This time, the spotlight wasn't just on their theatrical venture "Label-less", but on what is brewing next for them. Their passion is evident as they dive into their future plans. “With 'Label-less,' we've started a spark," Drew said. "Now it's time to fan the flames,” Lea added, sharing their aspirations to take the project global or adapt it into different formats. They discuss new show dates for an Eastern US tour of the show, with additional dates still being booked and a desire also to take it to theaters in the Western US. You'll get more information on that at the Labelless.com website link below. The chat takes an amusing turn when Jeff broaches Drew's "98°" tour. The Band is getting back together for a quick tour. Drew fills us in on where, when, and some of the what. Along with their original hits, they are adding some new material and some great covers as well. Lea, of course, is staging and choreographing the show. Drew chuckled at a reference Jeff made about the “early years”, and commented, "Those were the days! But now? After a show, instead of partying, I'm on chore duty!” With Lea playfully jabbing, “Oh, how the mighty boy band star has matured!” Tune in to hear the rest of the back-and-forth banter. You will love this follow-up Special Edition with Lea and Drew because you get to hear more about the duo's vision and commitment to “driving change” through art. It was evident that for them their journey with "Label-less" and all their creative endeavors was far from over; in fact, it had only just begun. How do you find the confidence to get on your metaphoric stage? Dancing with the Stars' Cheryl Burke shares how she finds her confidence and courage and why putting herself in service of others has brought her so much success in her career. Cheryl shares about possibly hanging up her dance shoes and donning a CEO hat in her developing mental health and movement app. With over twenty-five years of dancing experience and several championship titles under her belt, twice Emmy-nominated professional dancer Cheryl Burke first discovered her love of dance at the age of 4, taking ballet lessons and performing throughout the San Francisco Bay area of California. At eleven, she discovered what would be her winning talent, ballroom dancing, and decided to hang up her ballet shoes to begin training competitively all over the world in both Ballroom International Standard and Latin styles. At age 20, Cheryl rocketed to stardom as the star of ABC's surprise hit television show, Dancing with the Stars, becoming champion twice with NFL superstar Emmitt Smith and 98 Degrees singer Drew Lachey. In 2015, Cheryl starred alongside Joe Jonas, Ciara, Nicole Scherzinger, and Marlon Wayans in NBC's I Can Do That, a variety show that challenged celebrities to live outside their comfort zones. 2016 marked Burke's return to Dancing with the Stars. Since then, she's danced alongside infamous Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, NFL Hall of Famers Terrell Owens and Ray Lewis, Telenovela actor William Levy, reality stars Rob Kardashian and Jack Osbourne, and Backstreet Boy, AJ McLean. Most recently, for her twenty-fifth appearance on the long-running program, she partnered with Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby to a third-place finish on Season 30, marking Cheryl's eighth appearance in the Finals. In 2016, Cheryl created, produced, and starred in Love on the Floor, a live stage show featuring professional dancers and Olympic and World Champion ice skaters coming together to tell a story of love and its many stages. The evocative stage show includes many forms of dance choreographed by Emmy Award-winning choreographers. Cheryl, who created and served as the show's producer alongside live event giant IMG, was joined on stage by Kristi Yamaguchi, Meryl Davis, Charlie White, and Daisuke Takahashi when the show made its worldwide premiere in June of 2016 in Tokyo, Japan where it grossed over two million dollars in ticket sales in ten sold out shows. In 2017, Cheryl took Love on the Floor back to Japan for the second time, where it again played to sold-out audiences. Cheryl made headlines in 2016 when she was cast as the replacement coach on Lifetime's long-running reality series Dance Moms. Hired to replace the legal battle embroiled and controversial Abby Lee Miller, Cheryl went toe to toe with difficult dance moms in season seven. She strived to coach the girls toward success by embracing their unique differences to become the best possible dancers that they could be. In 2020, Cheryl teamed with Backstreet Boys superstar and former DWTS partner AJ McLean to host the iHeart Radio-produced podcast Pretty Messed Up. The duo and their 3rd host Rene Elizondo, created a podcast that touched on topics ranging from reality tv to sobriety and mental health. Cheryl currently has her own podcast, Burke in the Game, with the streaming giant and top podcast-producing company, iHeartRadio. In the spring of 2008, Cheryl opened her first of several dance studios, the highly successful Cheryl Burke Dance. In early 2011 Cheryl's biography Dancing Lessons: How I Found Passion and Potential on the Dance Floor and in Life was released. The book addresses topics that shaped Cheryl throughout her life, from the childhood abuse and abusive relationships she lived through to harsh criticisms of her weight and body in her early twenties. Not limiting herself to the dance studio, in 2015, Cheryl launched her own clothing line CeeBee, a collection of activewear and workout attire featuring items that are designed to fit the active lifestyle of the average woman. In 2020, Cheryl partnered with Bailey Blue for a line of fashion face masks. The first collection included six fashionable and functional face masks inspired by the ballroom dances for which Cheryl is best known. With the success of the initial launch, the partnership expanded with Cheryl Burke Loungewear, a line of comfy, cozy, and chic pieces for the everyday woman who is always on the go. In 2008, Burke was awarded an Asian Excellence Award, and in 2010, she made a much-talked-about appearance in the music video for Ne-Yo's Camera Phone. In addition to her onscreen roles, Burke is a noted motivational speaker. Having been publicly attacked about her weight and having battled body dysmorphia her entire life, Burke often speaks at medical conferences, women's conventions, and to school-age children about self-esteem and having a healthy body image. She also speaks about being a survivor of domestic and sexual abuse. Her accomplishments in entertainment were celebrated in 2020 with an induction into the Robert Chinn Foundation's Asian Hall of Fame. Currently, in development on several unscripted television show concepts that she will also produce, Burke has turned an initial reluctance to leave the world of competitive dance to appear on television into a growing empire, which includes plans to launch Body Language - a program that will focus on the therapeutic benefits of movement, which Burke has experienced first-hand. As an avid mental health advocate, her passion is to continue sharing her story in hopes of helping others know that they are not alone. Unfortunately for everyone, it's a disco inferno this week as we discuss the season 2 finale of Dancing with the Stars. Unlike in the finale itself, Chris and Katy have no time to mess about and get right down to business. Katy gets what she deserves as Chris sort of comes around on Jerry Rice, only to watch her beloved Stacy Keibler crash and burn. And in the most shocking turn of events, their opinions on Drew Lachey's freestyle are... not going to be spoiled in the description! So save that horse, ride that cowboy, and figure out how to fill 210 minutes of content with only 9 competitive dances! Remember when we had nice things to say about Master P? What a journey it's been since then. Anyway, this week we discuss episodes 2 and 3 of season 2! There is so much shock and awe to discuss this episode- but perhaps the most shocking is that Chris... actually... likes... rumbas? Katy still hates it. We discuss the fine line couples must walk between playful banter and uncomfortable tension, gush over teeny tiny Drew Lachey, share our mutual love of Stacey Keibler, and discuss the sophistication and suaveness of George Hamilton. And to absolutely nobody’s surprise, Chris and Katy are on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to Tia Carrere and Jerry Rice. Jeff Timmons is a pop star! He is a founding member of the Grammy nominated boyband 98 Degrees. The group signed with Motown at the peak of the "boyband mania" era. While his bandmate Nick Lachey was making reality TV history with his then wife Jessica Simpson, Jeff turned to producing and working in other parts of the entertainment industry.Jeff talks about touring as a 46-year-old in a boyband, playing on the Tonight Show with Stevie Wonder and if he'd like to play in the Canadian Football League.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT from Nick and Drew Lachey 12-1-17
Hear Nick Lachey, Jeff Timmons, Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre of 98° Degrees sing their version of "Let It Snow" and hear the two bros and their pals chat about the holidays.
Drew Lachey is dreaming of a charitable Christmas. Drew tells host Robin Milling the many ways he has made someone else's Christmas wishes come true. It all started with 98 Degrees visiting urban neighborhoods for The Boys and Girls Club singing accapella Christmas carols, doo-wop style. That spirit of giving back blossomed into what Drew and his family do today; supplying gifts for the Boys and Girls Club and the Children's Hospital in his hometown of Cincinnati. His children are also learning the love of giving. He says, “My daughter actually gave up getting birthday presents at her birthday party this year for donations for the Children's Hospital raising almost $1,000. That's one of the things as a parent where you're like, 'Yes! I'm doing something right!'” In fact Drew encourages everyone to make a difference in somebody else's life, foregoing that tie clip or Itunes gift card. That homey feeling is one of the reasons why h'es joined Up, the family friendly network which features shows his seven year-old daughter can watch; like his starring turn in Guess Who's Coming To Christmas. Drew stars as Dax, a jaded rock star who jump starts his image by fulfilling a child's 'Dear Santa' Christmas wish to spend the holidays with them. Drew's image is slightly different these days; he's not interested in being the bad boy anymore. “I'm trying to set a good example for my kids and the people who look up to me and look up to my wife. That's what I'm trying to focus on, spreading that good cheer.” Drew looks forward to going out on the road again with his brother Nick and the band. Whether it's Dancing With The Stars, Broadway, or film acting; it seems performing is Drew's greatest gift.
Well, I was going to post this edition on Christmas Day itself, but I was up til about 11:15pm & literally fell asleep & couldn't post the episode. But, it's here now! And on this edition, we recap the 2007 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade! Note that some pieces in here were from the actual recording of the show a month ago, some were from the show itself, & some are from CD. Here's what we feature: Kicking off the special will be a blockbuster performance from the hit show Dancing With The Stars. Newly crowned champion Helio Castroneves, Sabrina Bryan, Joey Fatone, & Drew Lachey with their professional dance partners Julianne Hough, Mark Ballas, Kym Johnson, & Cheryl Burke will perform an original holiday dance number choreographed by Dancing With The Stars dancer Tony Dovolani & sung by Grammy Award-winning Latin singer Jon Secada. One of the hottest musical trios performing today, sibling pop-rockers the Jonas Brothers, sing one of their latest tunes, a seasonal pop-rock song titled "Girl of My Dreams." Songstress & R&B legend Patti LaBelle, who recently released her newest CD, Miss Patti's Christmas, will perform "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." American Idol sweetheart Katharine McPhee will perform a Disney Princess-inspired number, singing a medley of some of Disney's classic tunes. Stars from Disney Channel's blockbusters High School Musical & High School Musical 2-- Vanessa Hudgens , Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, & Ashley Tisdale -- will give a holiday twist to one of the popular tunes from High School Musical 2. The group performs a customized version of the hit song "What Time Is It?" and answers the song title's question with a new musical answer, "It's Christmas Time!" Note that there are a couple of audio faults in this section. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! America's hottest entertainment sensation, Miley Cyrus, the multi-talented performer & star of Disney Channel's popular series "Hannah Montana," will sing the energetic, seasonal favorite "All I Want for Christmas is You." Multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jessica Simpson will bring the curtain down on this year's special with a moving rendition of the Christmas classic, "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." Joining Simpson will be the world-famous, New York-based Harlem Gospel Choir that has performed for Nelson Mandela & the late Pope John Paul II. And finally, from the new Enchanted soundtrack that I received in my mail, it's Carrie Underwood's "Ever Ever After"!
