This episode I sit down with another FYF guest, Just Beckford (Dante - Ep 3), where we catch up almost 2 years on from the last one. In that time, a lot has gone on in Mr.Beckford's life from professional to personal transitions, namely becoming a father. Throughout the episode, we explore themes and reflections on fatherhood, the honed mentality that has enabled him to thrive in his respective sector but also a wide range of topics and opinions being shared.

Particularly, relating to the events side of things and Recess, which is a regular party night in London offering a fresh take to the partying scene. But beyond that, we get into discussing what it's like navigating the London nightlife scene, speaking to venues and the frustrations that have come along the way. A really great convo, and especially seeing how things have changed from affirmation in the first meeting to actualisation 18 months on.

This episode I sit down with Kairo Maynard, who works within the field of mental health as a qualified Dramatherapist. I've had the opportunity to speak to Kairo and understanding a perspective on mental health and treatment that would be fair to say isn't quite commonly known about. Through the conversation, we delve into the field of Dramatherapy as an alternative yet highly effective form of therapy while also understand what Kairo's own experience was like during her attainment. From covering topics such as being assigned a therapist herself, perspectives on how we talk about mental health but also shedding light on just how important it is for people, particularly young people to talk about their mental wellbeing. A really insightful conversation, in which I hope will allow a refreshed understanding of what drama therapy is about and understanding the therapist behind the therapy.

Abe is many things, but during this conversation, we explore his journey in becoming one of the most talented screenwriters/playwrights among the young generation. Having achieved many accolades along the way, notably having Jude Law as a lead actor for one of his plays, throughout the conversation we uncover the perils and tribulations that Abe has gone through in his journey. From couch surfing to working jobs that were meaningless but also understanding the importance of a strong friendship support network who have been able to continually push him and his talents to take him where he is today and where he desires to go moving forward. With a very interesting story of developing his talents and skills, but also the perils that have come along with the way, Danny delves into what it was like dropping out of Uni to having people doubt his craft. While coming from a talented family, Danny goes into detail how supporting his own siblings endeavours led to a Screen Nation Award winning web series.
