Welcome back to another Trve. Cvlt. Pop! where you can hear people talk about music on a podcast. On this week's show, we say goodbye to an old favourite as Steve and Gaz complete the A-Z of Atrocities with the letter X, Y and Z finishing the entire alphabet of BAD things off.Expect rants on a grungy style of singing, people on that internet making 'content', a low point in the Iron Maiden discography, corporate sponsorship being everywhere, bonus songs on albums that you never wanted and, of course, indie landfill gets yet another kicking. We also recall a lost banger from Goldbug and their cover of a Led Zep classic, look through the Mercury Prize nominees, talk about Therapy?'s recent London birthday party and... what's going on with Drowning Pool exactly? We try and work it out.

Wilno przecież nieustannie podkreśla, że Rosja i Białoruś wykorzystują cały wachlarz narzędzi przeciwko Polsce i państwom bałtyckim - mówi politolog z Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego.

Šogad festivālu kūrēt esam aicinājuši mākslinieku kolektīvu "Slāvs and Tatars", kura intereses sniedzas no Berlīnes mūra līdz Lielajam Ķīnas mūrim.

Resûl-i Ekrem (s.a.v.) hayatında nasıl ziyaret edilirdi ise ölümünde de aynı hürmetle ziyaret edilir. Cism-i şerifinin orada medfun bulunduğunu ve Allâh katındaki yüce mevkiini düşün. Resûl-i Ekrem (s.a.v.)'den rivayet edilen bir hadiste: “Allâhü Teâlâ'nın kabrine bir melek müvekkel ettiğini ve getirilen salatü selâmı kendisine tebliğ ettiğini” haber vermiştir.
Her işin hayırlısı ortasıdır.

On this highly anticipated episode of Tall Boy Radio, your favourite beer-loving duo, Beans and Gaz, are joined by a special guest – Beans' very own brother, Jon! The air is thick with anticipation (and perhaps a hint of stout) as the three embark on a comprehensive taste test of four classic stouts, all vying for the coveted "Tall Boy Radio Favourite Stout" title.First up to the metaphorical chopping block is the creamy, malty Mackeson, a traditional milk stout known for its sweet, almost chocolatey notes. Will its comforting familiarity win over the panel, or will its sweetness prove too much for the discerning palates of Beans, Gaz, and Jon? Expect lively debate as they dissect its aroma, mouthfeel, and finish, with Jon offering his unique perspective as a relative newcomer to the world of serious stout appreciation.Next, the Irish contingent makes its first appearance with Murphy's Irish Stout. This iconic brew, often described as lighter and less bitter than its main competitor, promises a smoother, more approachable experience. The hosts will be paying close attention to its subtle coffee and caramel undertones, and whether its renowned drinkability gives it an edge in this highly competitive lineup. Will it be the dark horse that surprises everyone? Then, the undisputed king of stouts, Guinness Original, steps into the ring. This is where the real drama unfolds. Will the classic, robust flavour of Guinness, with its distinctive roasted barley notes and dry finish, live up to its legendary status in the eyes of our expert panel? Expect detailed analysis of its iconic cascade and creamy head, with perhaps a few humorous anecdotes about past encounters with the "black stuff." This is the benchmark, and the pressure is on for it to perform. Finally, a wildcard enters the arena: Dorothy Black. This lesser-known stout, often praised for its rich complexity and intriguing flavour profile, offers a potential curveball. Beans, Gaz, and Jon will meticulously explore its unique characteristics, which could range from dark fruit notes to a hint of liquorice or even a smoky undertone. Could this underdog snatch victory from the jaws of the more famous contenders, proving that sometimes, the best things come in unexpected packages? As the tasting progresses, the banter flows as freely as the stout. Expect plenty of good-natured ribbing, insightful observations, and probably a few mispronunciations. They'll compare and contrast each stout, discussing which one they'd reach for on a cold winter's night, or which one would best accompany a hearty meal. The tension will build as they each reveal their scores and deliberate on their ultimate favourite. But wait, there's a whisper of a secret entry, a mysterious fifth contender that promises to be a game-changer! Just when you think the contest is decided, Beans reveals a shocking curveball: a Guinness float! Yes, you read that right. The classic stout meets vanilla ice cream in a bizarre yet potentially brilliant concoction. Will this unexpected, almost sacrilegious, fusion be a stroke of genius or a culinary disaster? The hosts' reactions, ranging from utter disbelief to cautious curiosity, are sure to be a highlight of the episode, providing a truly unforgettable and potentially messy climax to this epic stout showdown. Tune in to Tall Boy Radio to find out which stout reigns supreme and if the Guinness float is a revelation or a regret!tallboyradio.com
It's yet another dose of pure music podcast lovliness from us here at Trve. Cvlt. Pop!On this episode Steve and Gaz concoct a fictional supergroup made up entirely of artists that have been a wee bit naughty over the year (putting it lightly) but that have never experienced a full blown #Cancelled moment. Needless to say, this has some pretty adult themes. We also pay tribute to Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds, who sadly passed away this week, chat Talking Heads not reforming, review recent shows by Chase and Status in London and Gojira in Eindhoven and, as usual, there's a 90's pop song that you've definitely forgotten about for us to remind you of.

Your intrepid hosts, Beans and Gaz, are joined by a man who's dedicated his life to separating fact from folklore: the renowned Big Foot hunter and researcher, Ed Brown. This isn't just another campfire tale; Ed brings a unique blend of firsthand experience, scientific rigor, and unwavering passion to the mic, promising an episode that will challenge your perceptions and perhaps even make you a believer. From the moment Ed settles in, the air crackles with anticipation. Beans and Gaz kick things off by diving straight into Ed's personal journey, exploring what first ignited his lifelong quest for the elusive Sasquatch. Prepare to be captivated as Ed recounts his most compelling personal experiences in the field. He'll paint vivid pictures of the chilling sounds, the inexplicable signs, and the fleeting glimpses that have kept him on the trail for decades. Listeners will hear about the unique methodologies he employs during his expeditions, from advanced audio recording techniques to remote sensing equipment, and how these tools have provided tantalizing clues. But this episode isn't just about thrilling encounters. Beans, ever the skeptic (or at least the one who asks the skeptical questions!), presses Ed on the scientific opinion surrounding the existence of Big Foot. Ed, a proponent of evidence-based research, doesn't shy away from the challenges. He'll articulate the scientific arguments for the possibility of an undiscovered primate, discussing everything from the vast uncatalogued biodiversity of our planet to the limitations of traditional research methods in dense, remote environments. He'll dissect the ecological niches that Big Foot might occupy, drawing parallels to other reclusive megafauna, and address the common criticisms leveled against cryptozoological claims with reasoned arguments and compelling counterpoints. Expect a nuanced discussion on DNA evidence, footprint analysis, and the tantalizing prospect of what a confirmed discovery could mean for our understanding of evolution and the natural world. And of course, no discussion with a Big Foot hunter would be complete without addressing the elephant (or rather, the ape!) in the room: the infamous Willow Creek video. Gaz will guide the conversation as Ed provides his expert take on this legendary footage. Is it the definitive proof so many hope for? A clever hoax? Or something in between? Ed offers his professional assessment based on years of observing primate locomotion, analyzing gait patterns, and understanding the nuances of how such creatures move in their natural habitat. He'll discuss the historical context of the footage, the debates it sparked, and why, even decades later, it continues to be a cornerstone of Big Foot lore. Get ready for a deep dive into the arguments for and against its authenticity, and hear Ed's well-researched conclusions on its significance within the broader search for Sasquatch. This episode of Tall Boy Radio is a must-listen for anyone fascinated by the unexplained, intrigued by scientific inquiry, or simply loves a good mystery. Ed Brown's blend of personal narrative, scientific insight promises an engaging, thought-provoking, and unforgettable journey into the heart of the Big Foot phenomenon.
