Michael Haviland was pursuing a phd in clinical psychology when he decided to pivot into the advertising world. He'd realized his work studying what motivates people would inform his marketing work. In 2007 he founded Do Good Marketing, a virtual agency which was “the culmination of his dream to use his business to do good things”.
