WE'RE BAAAAAACK! That's right, there's no keeping a good nerd down and we have returned to chronicle the many happenings in the world of pro wrestling in our absence. There was a summery slam, a takeover of brooklyn, and the five star match machine that is the G1 climax finally pulled into the station. Oh and also Will Ospreay is moving to Australia apparently. Wait what?! Tune in to hear all this and more!!

Sean takes a week off and Alex is joined by a returning Kevin McLeod to watch the ppv that turned the tables in the Monday Night Wars, Bash at the Beach 1996!

We're finally back! We're here to talk about the WWE as two people that got into pro wrestling through this company and are very disappointed with the current creative situation. We keep it fun and light, while breaking down whats up with this dang company!

Well it's a little over a week late, but I did eventually get the episode out. Here are our mid-year awards! Who we would vote for in the WON year end awards if the year ended today. We had a lot of fun recording this episode and we hope you enjoy it!

It's that time of year again, Christmas for hard core wrestling fans, the G1 Climax Tournament is nearly upon us! The big news this year is of course that Kota Ibushi will be participating in the tournament, which has led to a flurry of speculation about an eventual singles match between the former Golden Lovers, the former tag team partners, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi. This week we break down their storied past both as allies and adversaries.

The Hops and Elbow Drops Brew Donkey Tour finally happened! In this extra special double length episode we break down an incredible night of wrestling with special guest Steve from Beyond the Pale, and get into the finer details of local beer and local breweries. You wont want to miss this one!

Samoa Joe is the NEW #1 Contender to WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, and we decided to celebrate that wonderful fact by celebrating Samoa Joe with three matches from 2005, a year in which Samoa Joe made clear he was one of the best ever.

There wasn't anything topical that we really wanted to get into this week, so we busted open one of our BREAK GLASS IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ALL TIME CLASSICS! STONE COLD! THE ROCK! One of the greatest feuds and rivalries in WWE history! You don't want to miss this one!

This week we recap our expedition to Toronto Ontario for two days filled with wrestling and craft beer, and some of the best examples of both you will find anywhere. Also Alex gets heckled by Michael Elgin!

This week we break down the upcoming WCPW Canadian World Cup of Wrestling Qualifier by focusing on possibly the best Canadian indie wrestler (Omega doesn't count) in the world: Kyle O'Reilly.

New Japan Watch is back! Prince Devitt and the bullet club are steamrolling New Japan! Ricochet and Kenny Omega make their first appearances on New Japan Watch! Great show this week.

It's a bit of a hodge podge this week as in wake of the Superstar Shakeup we cover the history of drafts in the WWE, but we also spend some time covering the current wrestling scene including NJPW Wrestling Dontaku, Shibata's medical condition, Evolve 82 and 83, the WCPW Canadian show in May, and WWE Payback. Lots to talk about as always, check it out!

Okada's first title defense of his new reign atop NJPW gets off to a rocky start against Minoru Suzuki. Also, Shelton Benjamin takes on Shinsuke Nakamura, Tanahashi and Karl Anderson have a rematch of their five star classic from New Beginning, and Goto faces off against childhood friend Katsuyori Shibata!

Gosh darn it, New Japan did it again. Okada vs Shibata is yet another match of the year contender from the Okada Match of the Year machine, It's only April for goodness sake. Watch the match, listen to our podcast, enjoy some of the best wrestling you will EVER see.
