The 2024 season saw the New York Yankees go to the World Series and the Boston Red Sox fail to make the playoffs. One year later, the Red Sox have beaten the Yankees in eight of their ten matchups and lead the AL Wild Card race by a half game over the Yankees. Three of the Boston wins came this weekend as Boston took three of four from the Yankees in New York. The Yankees continue to have issues figuring out their lineup with an injured, but playing, Aaron Judge. Anthony Volpe also continues to struggle massively. Will the Yankees be able to survive this for a deep postseason run? How is the rest of the season going to shake out for the Red Sox? Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman discuss both teams' seasons thus far and how they see them playing out the rest of the way.At the same time that all of this was happening, the Padres were hosting the Dodgers for another huge NL West series. Unlike their previous matchup, the Padres came out on the winning end and are now tied for the lead in the NL West. Los Angeles has the tiebreaker for the division, but with 31 games remaining, and the easiest schedule in baseball, the Padres have a real shot at the NL West crown. Jake and Jordan discuss what they saw out of each team and what they think the postseason may end up looking like. Those two series may have stolen the headlines, but there were also three sweeps this weekend as the Cubs, Rangers and Pirates all brought out their brooms. For the Pirates, that also included another impressive display from Paul Skenes as he threw seven scoreless innings and officially eliminated the Rockies from playoff contention. Through his first 50 starts, he now has an astonishing 2.02 career ERA. The guys marvel over Skenes and look at each of these sweeps.Plus, they go through every other series from the weekend and talk about what stood out to them. That includes Cal Raleigh reaching 49 home runs and setting an MLB record for home runs by a catcher. Might he break Judge's AL home run record? That feat may be in reach for the Mariners catcher. Jake and Jordan discuss this and everything else you may have missed from every series over the weekend. Start off your week with us here at Baseball Bar-B-Cast. The San Diego Padres walked into Dodger Stadium, on Friday, with a one-game lead in the NL West over the Los Angeles Dodgers. They left, on Sunday, two games behind the Dodgers after being swept over the weekend. The Padres struggled at the plate in the series. Is this a sign of an improving pitching staff for the Dodgers? Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman discuss their takeaways from the series and preview what it may be a sign of for the rest of the season. These two teams will meet up again this weekend in San Diego. The Little League Classic was over the weekend. All of the little leaguers competing at the Little League World Series got to meet and watch some of their favorite major leaguers. Jordan, who was in attendance, shares some of the stories he witnessed from the weekend. The guys dive into the importance of these events and the memories they have from years past. In contrast to the little leaguers' unadulterated joy, drama across Major League Baseball came from the broadcast. Commissioner Rob Manfred spoke about realignment and expansion plans for MLB's future. Jake and Jordan discuss what they think an actual timeline for this is and how they see it playing out. Amongst all of this drama, there were so many other series played. Three other sweeps occurred this weekend by the Yankees, the Braves and the Royals. Giancarlo Stanton may be injured. How might this change the Yankees? The Guardians have a huge misstep against the Braves. How can they recover? The Royals are trying to work their way into the Wild Card conversation. the mugshot. That iconic, black-and-white, falsely accused but eternally defiant mugshot. The one that didn't break him—it made him. Because nothing sums up modern politics like turning your opponent into a martyr while also claiming he's an all-powerful dictator. So here's the real question: If Trump is so weak, so incompetent, so dangerously stupid… why are they so terrified of him?Can we all agree that the mugshot placed Trump back on the pedestal. He wasn't scared in that mugshot. He was DEFIANT.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In the Leftist world, "manhood" is measured not by courage, strength, or conviction, but by how well you nod along to your partner's every whim. Welcome to the Left's version of masculinity, where the men are less "alpha" and more "adorable lapdog." It's a comedic tragedy, a societal sitcom where the punchline is that the Left's men aren't men at all—they're beta males, scurrying in the shadows of their hyena-like women, hoping for a pat on the head. This isn't just a jab at political ideology; it's a cultural autopsy of what happens when masculinity is redefined as submission. Buckle up for a wild ride through the Left's beta male crisis, where we'll laugh, cringe, and maybe shed a tear for the death of the alpha.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Let's talk about the godhead himself: Barack Hussein Obama. The Left's political messiah. The only man who could wear mom jeans and still get a book deal. Well, guess what? Baby Black Jesus has been outed. He knew Russian collusion was a lie. Sat on it. Weaponized it. And never told the American people. You know, the ones who thought democracy was real.Durham's report confirmed what we already knew: Obama, Biden, and Clinton colluded to frame Trump with Russian lies while the media did cartwheels to carry their dirty water. And now? Obama's halo is slipping. His brand is starting to look like the Vineyard Vines version of Watergate. The Democrats have been revealed as the party of frauds, fakes, and fabulists. Democrats spend more time trying to undo Trump's policies than a drunk ex texting “u up?” at 2AM. And like those texts, it's always embarrassing in the morning.I always chuckle when Democrats oppose policies they once championed—simply because Trump supports them now. It's like watching Elizabeth Warren try to moonwalk in moccasins. She was all for lowering interest rates when Biden was tanking the economy. But when Trump even suggests lowering rates? Suddenly it's economic treason. It's policy bipolar disorder. Same policy, different president, and they treat it like a crime against humanity.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
How's this irony: Trump never needed the media. He just used them like gym equipment—until they snapped under his weight.Donald Trump hasn't just survived the media gauntlet, he's demolished it. He didn't beat them on a technicality. He didn't sneak out a split decision. He left the Fourth Estate face-down, pantsless, with “Fake News” Sharpie'd on their asses like a frat house hazing.Jen Psaki's show is so bad, it's being used at Guantanamo to get confessions.Colbert? Gone. Joy Reid? Fired. Rachel Maddow? Relegated to book tours and sad tweets. Trump didn't just outlast the media—he outboxed, outwitted, and outlasted the very people who declared him finished.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

PTF and Nick Tammaro recap the fantastic Whitney weekend that saw Sierra Leone win big. The guys also discuss Stakes races from the weekend all over the country.
The post-trade deadline MLB season got off to an inauspicious start for the New York Yankees as they flew down to Miami and got swept by the Marlins. That was the first time in franchise history that the Marlins swept the Yankees. Miami is now back to .500 while the Yankees have fallen to third in the AL East. Although New York still owns one of the coveted Wild Card spots, is Aaron Boone's seat starting to get a bit warmer? Jake and Jordan discuss this, what is going on with the Yankees and if they still look like they can be a postseason contender.Feeling the exact opposite of the Yankees right now is their bitter rival, the Boston Red Sox. Boston spent the weekend cleaning up Fenway as they swept the Houston Astros. The Red Sox now sit atop of the AL Wild Card race and just three games back in the AL East. The Milwaukee Brewers were the third and final sweep of the weekend as they took care of the Washington Nationals. How are both the Brewers and Red Sox looking as they inch closer to the postseason? Is Jacob Misiorowski going to the IL as big of a deal as it may seem? The guys dive into both of these series. There was a baseball game at a Nascar stadium this weekend. The Cincinnati Reds played the Atlanta Braves at Bristol Motor Speedway. The game finished up on Sunday after Saturday saw it get rained out in the first inning. Although the pomp and circumstance, complete with a Home Run Car, was dampened by the rain, the spectacle was still a sight to behold as the Braves took down the Reds. How does Trump get so much done? He makes an announcement about something big, and Democrats predictably attack. And almost as if anticipating it, he then springs a trap on them, and announce another BIG deal.Trump's brain is like a supercomputer that outpaces modern systems. He's working on quantum computing while Democrats use abacuses.Trump's pedigree is impressive. His MIT genius uncle helped America, and Barron is a certified Mensan. Trump's not perfect—but he's pragmatic. He bets on America and he's getting government out of the way. And that's why Leftists hate him: his successes expose their failures.Welcome to another day, another dose of hypocrisy, hysteria, and history repeating itself. Should we list all the problems ahead for Democrats?Epstein will not be tied to Trump. That's not going to stop Democrats from trying, until they don't. This story will be out of the news cycle by the end of the week. So all the effort being put into it is wasted. Still, despite knowing this, the media reported that “50% of Republicans are not satisfied with the White House's handling of the Epstein documents.” See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Trump flips the script on the media's sanctimonious traps. The homeless question wasn't just a one-off; it's a masterclass in refusing to play the optics game. While other Republicans would've hemmed and hawed, clutching their policy binders like life rafts, Trump calls it like he sees it. The homeless crisis isn't his mess—it's the fallout of decades of Leftist policies that turned cities into dystopian yard sales. He doesn't just dodge the blame; he redirects it with surgical precision, pointing out that inflation, not his policies, is why people are sleeping on sidewalks. The hypocrisy here is delicious: the same outlets pearl-clutching over homelessness cheerlead the economic policies that fueled it. Trump's response isn't just a zinger; it's a policy stance.
