In this Dailycast episode of Wrestling Coast to Coast, Chris Maitland and Justin McClelland review New Texas Pro Wrestling's Fifth Anniversary show, featuring Dailycast favorites Bryan Keith and Timothy Thatcher battling for the NTP title, Lee Moriarty vs. Kevin Blackwood, the battle of Fly Def, a note-by-note recreation of one of Justin's favorite angles of all time, too many heel turns, a surprising amount of number one contenders, and so much more. For VIP listeners, at the behest of Rich Fann, they sample some offerings from MLW's Slaughterhouse PPV, notably World Champ Alex Kane against Tom Lawlor and Minoru Suzuki facing Jacob Fatu. This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/3276210/advertisement

Daniel and Bonesaw have mostly recovered from their respective G1 hangovers to discuss Destruction in Kobe! Thrills and chills were had as Taichi took on Sho for the KOPW 2023 Championship, and Yota Tsuji challenged Will ospreay for the IWGP UK Heavyweight Championship! As per usual, the boys get off topic and start fantasy booking future events and talking about video games and anime!
In 2017, Cody Rhodes wasn't in WWE or AEW--he was the reigning, defending Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion. On this show, one of the biggest of the ROH calendar year, he defended that title against visiting NJPW talent Minoru Suzuki in the main event. Unfortunately, that was fairly unimpressive. On the bright side, most of the rest of the card was really freakin' good. We see A LOT of the Young Bucks on this night as they defend the Tag Titles as well as attempt to win the Six Man Tag Titles. The now-disgraced "Villain" Marty Scurll faces one of the Best Friends, Chuckie T. KUSHIDA puts the ROH TV Title on the line against Kenny King. The future Damien Priest, Punishment Martinez takes on "Switchblade" Jay White in a Las Vegas Street Fight. Also, "The Last Real Man" Silas Young and Jay Lethal possibly have the match of the night as they face off in a Last Man Standing match. Also, in the news, we discuss the death of a legendary manager, a former WCW and WWE World Champion teasing a return to the ring, updates on Daniel Bryan's attempted journey back to the ring, where Rey Mysterio will end up, a major controversy over the FloSports streaming service, the death of Global Force Wrestling, and much, much more!
