It's our LAST episode of Season One, everyone! And we're taking a look back on what it was like to put it all together. What did we think it was going to be like going into this? What moments really stood out to us as the episodes were finished up? What are our thoughts moving forward? Was it wise for Emily and Laura to have a glass (or two) of wine while recording this? These are the questions we ask ourselves. Next week's episode will be the teaser for "No Redeeming Feature?" a podcast that Emily is doing this summer with Pauline (who we're pretty sure she mentioned EVERY episode already), so stay tuned for that. We will be back in the fall with more Kindred Features though, so check back with us then! The music for today's episode is Nobel Wine by The Poison Oaks... for no particular reason...
SUPRISE! It's a BONUS episode, where we finally get to meet the elusive brother... Jeff! His choice for favorite childhood movie to review was Wind in the Willows directed by directed by Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass. It is an adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's 1908 novel The Wind in the Willows. Set in a pastoral version of England, the film focuses on four anthropomorphized animal characters (Moley, Ratty, Mr. Toad, and Mr. Badger) and contains themes of mysticism, adventure, morality, and camaraderie. The film features the voices of Charles Nelson Reilly, Roddy McDowall, José Ferrer, and Eddie Bracken. The screenplay was written by Romeo Muller. 1 The music for this episode is Simpler Times by Man DeLorean. 1 Wikipedia

This week's episode is a light and fluffy musical called Royal Wedding, a 1951 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musical comedy film starring Fred Astaire and Jane Powell, with music by Burton Lane and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner.
