MARVEL'S UPRISING! We still don't have the Spider-Man Brand New Day Trailer but we do have the Spider-Man Noir — the upcoming Prime Video series starring Nicolas Cage as a hardened, aging private investigator in 1930s New York. This isn't your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man… this is trench coats, mob bosses, femme fatales, and full black-and-white noir energy. And yes — you can actually watch the show in both monochrome AND color. But that's not all. We're also breaking down major reveals from the Russo Brothers in their latest Empire Magazine interview about Avengers: Doomsday. They're teasing a darker tone, deeper narrative complexity, and major implications surrounding Doctor Doom and the future of the MCU. If they're bringing the kind of layered storytelling they did with Infinity War and Endgame, things are about to get wild. Follow Coy Jandreau:  Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@coyjandreau?l... IT'S NOT LIKE THAT is a show about two families dealing with immense loss and change, leaning on each other and their shared faith, finding a way forward together. The title is a wink to our rom com roots, but more importantly, it speaks to the essence of our show. As we move through the world, we all make assumptions about each other, misunderstand one another. We look through our own narrow lens, and that is rarely the whole or real picture. Everyone you meet is battling something you don't know about. In other words, it's not like that. There is always a deeper, more complex story, one that requires an extension of grace. That's really the overarching theme. And Malcolm - our pastor, father, friend and flawed, funny human - is at the center of this grace. Our hope for this show is that its humanity is universal. That no matter who you are, you'll be able to relate to and connect with these characters and what they're going through. That's our favorite kind of TV. We hope you'll enjoy it with your own open hearts and appreciate you taking the time to watch. We are just beyond thankful and excited to finally share it with the world - Ian Deitchman & Kristin RobinsonBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/arroe-collins-unplugged-totally-uncut--994165/support.

In this deeply emotional and revealing episode of Undressed with Pol' and Patrik, we begin a powerful new series dedicated to our dearly departed best friend, Anna Nicole Smith. We mark the anniversary of her passing with an intimate, heartfelt tribute. This episode blends raw emotion, behind-the-scenes storytelling, humor, and celebrity pop-culture context — making it one of the most personal episodes of our podcast to date. We reflect on where we were when we received the devastating phone call confirming Anna's passing, sharing the surreal stillness of that moment, the chaos surrounding our boutique, and the global media frenzy that followed. More importantly, we share our mission to preserve Anna's memory — not just as a celebrity, but as a loyal friend with a deeply loving spirit. We revisit the final words Anna ever spoke to us — “I love y'all, kiss kiss” — words we later immortalized in our book. We dive into the origin story of our book Portrait of an Icon. It was never meant to be a traditional celebrity biography — it began as a healing exercise during grief. We share how memories poured out as we typed together, from our dining table to being snowed in during a trip, showing how grief transformed into storytelling and ultimately a legacy project. We share private, never-before-heard moments from our friendship with Anna — wild party nights, spontaneous adventures, and the deep emotional bond we shared. We also revisit early 2000s nostalgia, including Anna's AOL screen name “Hot Smoochy Lips,” revealing her playful spirit behind the public persona. We discuss Anna's undeniable star power, comparing her presence to icons like Jennifer Lopez and Brad Pitt, and how she commanded attention in any room. We also address media narratives and outsider books versus our real-life experience knowing the true Anna. At the heart of this episode, we want everyone to understand Anna was never just pop culture — she was magnetic, emotional, fiercely loyal, and deeply loving. Throughout this series, we promise to “crack the egg open” and share stories the public has never heard before. We close by celebrating Anna — honoring her joy, humor, and lasting cultural impact. We will be releasing new episodes in this series twice a month, diving deeper into chapters from our book, sharing untold stories, and opening up even more about our friendship with her. This is our promise to keep her memory alive, and we cannot wait to share this journey with you, twice a month, right here on Undressed with Pol' and Patrik. Hazbin Hotel Songwriter Reveals the Most Important Musical Moment of the Show, And It'll Shock You

Since January 2024, few days have gone by without carving out some time to indulge in Sam Haft's work. Every aspect of Hazbin Hotel on Prime Video is wow-worthy, but Haft and Andrew Underberg have a magnificent knack for crafting one earworm after the next. Oftentimes, one of their songs is the last thing I hear in my head before drifting off to sleep, and it's the very first thing that comes to mind when I wake up the next day. I'm willing to bet many can relate because the Hazbin Hotel Season 1 soundtrack reached #13 on the Billboard 200, and now it's happening all over again. The Hazbin Hotel Season 2 soundtrack managed to hit a high of #8 on the Billboard 200.The success of the soundtracks beyond the main series is a remarkable achievement, but one of the most staggeringly impressive aspects of Haft and Underberg's work is how heavily, and successfully, their songs contribute to the Hazbin Hotel storyline. Yes, the songs can simply be a blast to listen to, but they're also brimming with brilliant narrative subtext. With Hazbin Hotel Season 2 out in full, Haft took the time to swing by the Collider Forces studio to break down his journey to the hit Prime Video series, and also to dig into the creation of many of the Season 2 songs. He offered up a peek behind the curtain of much-talked-about tracks like “Gravity,” “Piss (A Love Song), and “Love in a Bottle,” but he also made a point to zero in on one particular aspect of “Live to Live" because he thinks it's actually “the most important musical moment of the entire show.” Hosted on Acast. Whitney White is a theatrical powerhouse. A director, writer, actor, and musician, White's work has been seen on Broadway, Off Broadway, and at major institutions including The Public Theater, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and, most recently, the Royal Shakespeare Company. Her projects include Jaja's African Hair Braiding, The Last Five Years, Macbeth in Stride, and By The Queen, which was featured in the Folger's 2025 Reading Room Festival. In this episode, White discusses All Is But Fantasy, her four-play musical cycle created for the RSC, where it's now receiving its world premiere. The high-energy, gig-theater show investigates Shakespeare's women and ambition, focusing on Lady Macbeth, Emilia, Juliet, and Richard III. Each piece combines performance with original music, using sound and rhythm as a way into the text and as a tool for rethinking these characters whose inner lives are often cut short or overlooked. White reflects on why Shakespeare's women so often meet tragic ends, how those stories continue to feel familiar, and what it means to keep staging them now. She considers the ways that music, performance, and adaptation can help us better understand Shakespeare today. From the Shakespeare Unlimited podcast. Whitney White is an Obie and Lily Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated director, actor, and musician, celebrated for her bold, innovative storytelling across both Broadway and off-Broadway. She recently received the Drama League's 2025 Founders Award for Excellence in Directing and an Obie Award for Sustained Achievement in Directing. All Is But Fantasy, White's four-part musical exploration of Shakespeare's women and ambition, commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company, marks her RSC debut as a writer, director, and actor. The two-part high-energy gig theater show is receiving its world premiere at The Other Place in Stratford-upon-Avon in January and February 2026. White's other directing credits on Broadway include The Last Five Years and Jaja's African Hair Braiding, off-Broadway credits include Liberation, Walden, Jordan's, Soft, On Sugarland, What to Send Up When It Goes Down, Our Dear Drug Lord, and For All the Women Who Thought They Were Mad. She recently opened Saturday Church, a new musical featuring songs by Sia and Honey Dijon at New York Theatre Workshop. She also created Macbeth In Stride at Brooklyn Academy of Music, writing the book, music and lyrics. Additional directing work includes The Secret Life of Bees, By The Queen, The Spectacularly Lamentable Trial of Miz Martha Washington, A Human Being of a Sort, An Iliad, The Amen Corner, Othello, Canyon, and Jump. Thomas rolls in riding the Super Bowl champ high (full hat, jersey, and apparently socks and underwear too), and the crew kicks things off with a Valentine's-themed Question of the Week: what's the "flowers" equivalent for men? From there, it's a full Super Bowl rundown: a defense-heavy game, a halftime show that hit hard for the culture heads in the room, and commercials that landed (and a few that didn't). Then the episode pivots back into geek mode with reactions to a Baldur's Gate TV series in development, more love for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms as it ramps toward its Trial of Seven moment, and optimism for Disney's Eragon series thanks to the creative team involved. The back half is all Fallout Season 2, with the crew landing in the "good, not great" zone while still getting hyped for what Season 3 could pay off. You also get network updates, convention panel plans, and weekly recommendations to close it out. Timestamps and Topics 00:00 Welcome in, Thomas' Super Bowl champ victory lap 01:30 Question of the Week: what's the "flowers" equivalent for men? 05:00 Super Bowl reactions: defense wins championships, Seahawks nostalgia, "Dark Side" vibes 08:20 Halftime show talk: Bad Bunny, cultural references, and why it hit for the whole room 12:00 More halftime highlights: Green Day shoutout, Ricky Martin surprise, who should headline next? 15:45 Favorite Super Bowl ads + why the Mando spot felt weirdly caught in the middle 18:00 Trailer talk: what the Super Bowl did (and didn't) deliver this year 22:05 Baldur's Gate TV series discussion: big potential, big concerns (and the Larian question) 26:10 A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Episode 4 hype, pacing praise, and "short and punchy" working 35:20 Eragon series at Disney+: why it might finally work this time 42:10 Fallout Season 2 review: what worked, what dragged, and where Season 3 needs to go 55:40 Network updates: new host announcements, recent episodes, Survivor 50 build-up 57:40 Convention panel plans: comics, game dev, podcasting, Kickstarter marketing 58:50 Recommendations of the week (including The Smashing Machine) Key Takeaways Thomas' Super Bowl joy is basically a case study in "I don't believe it until it's real," and that made the win hit even harder. The crew's "flowers for men" answers are wildly revealing: gift cards for movies and games, Legos as a seasonal tradition, and the underrated power of small thoughtful grabs. The halftime show conversation lands on something bigger than music: representation, cultural shoutouts, and why certain moments connect differently when your household speaks the language. The Mandalorian & Grogu Super Bowl spot discussion nails the core frustration: it didn't fully serve as a trailer or as a commercial, so it split the difference and lost impact. Baldur's Gate as a TV playground sounds like a great idea, but the lack of Larian involvement raises real "are they just using the name?" concerns. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms keeps winning people over because it feels like it belongs in Westeros without trying to copy the tone of the flagship shows. Eragon could finally pop with Disney backing it, especially if the show uses budget smartly and nails the dragon work. Fallout Season 2 feels more like the game experience (factions, doors opening, long quests) which is cool for gamers but can make the season feel more like setup than payoff. Memorable Quotes "Wear the hat, the jersey, the socks, the underwear. All the above." "Defense wins championships." "Theaters are sacred to me." "I don't like flowers because you're watching them die." "This isn't your Game of Thrones. Don't buy this for a Game of Thrones." "It was good. I don't think it was great." Comedian Jack Whitehall is trading punchlines for the “good type of nerves” in the new series The Burbs. In this latest role, the British comedian navigates the “uncomfortable territories” of neighborhood life, a setting he finds surprisingly familiar. “I grew up in the suburbs of London—a very suburban street with a creepy Victorian house and a ghostly figure, who was usually just my father.” In this remake of the 1989 film of the same name, Whitehall and Keke Palmer play a couple who move back to his small suburban town, only to discover it's not exactly what they were bargaining for. “I felt very familiar with that world, even if it's now transposed to an American setting.” Speaking of his father, Michael, Whitehall is so glad their reality series Travels with My Father continues to help and entertain millions. “I feel so lucky that I had that time with him.” Despite Whitehall being busy with this show and Prime Video's Malice, he still laments (jokingly) that his father has since ditched him for his own thing. “He even has his own podcast now!” Subscribe to my newsletter: https://for-the-culture.beehiiv.com Follow me: https://linktr.ee/halanscott See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Pol' Atteu and Patrik Simpson celebrate a milestone episode of Undressed with Pol' & Patrik, broadcasting for the first time from their brand-new West Hollywood studio, before diving headfirst into a fearless, unfiltered 2026 Golden Globes red-carpet breakdown. The episode opens with SnowBuBu love, Armenian coffee cup reading reminders, and Pol's signature fashion education as the duo identifies this year's dominant trends: minimalism, sheer “naked” dressing, metallics, sculptural tailoring, and statement diamonds. From there, the gloves come off. Pol' and Patrik critique the night's biggest looks, hits, and misfires—debating Owen Cooper's Bottega Veneta, Patrick Schwarzenegger's Dolce & Gabbana tux, and Zoë Kravitz's Saint Laurent nightgown-meets-Easter-tablecloth moment. Fashion triumphs shine with Teyana Taylor in Schiaparelli Haute Couture, ultimately crowned Best Dressed of the Night, praised for commanding the carpet with confidence, movement, and flawless execution. The runway rundown spans standout and controversial appearances from Nikki Glaser (Zuhair Murad), Natasha Lyonne, Amy Lou Wood, Alex Cooper (Gucci), Amelia Gray (Swarovski), Amy Poehler, Ariana Grande (custom Vivienne Westwood couture), Pamela Anderson, Parker Posey, Queen Latifah (Gaurav Gupta), Timothée Chalamet, Walton Goggins, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Bell, Chloë Zhao, and a universally praised Jennifer Lopez in vintage Jean-Louis Scherrer. One of the night's biggest surprises? Connor Storrie (Heated Rivalry), named Best Dressed Man, wearing Saint Laurent with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, earning praise for immaculate tailoring, confidence, and star-making presence. The episode wraps with Pol' and Patrik's final verdicts—celebrating fashion that elevates the event and calling out looks that missed the mark—delivering couture insight, pop-culture commentary, and laugh-out-loud banter that defines Undressed.
