In our Part two we welcome back our glamorous friend, Crystal Kung Minkoff—Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, digital entrepreneur, and co-host of the Humble Brag Podcast. From Beverly Hills to Aspen, no topic is off-limits as they peel back the designer layers of fame, friendship, and family. Housewives Highs & HindsightsCrystal candidly opens up about her time on RHOBH, revealing she felt embarrassed to fully lean in and often tried to hide from the spotlight. She reflects on how the experience taught her the power of owning her narrative—something she now embraces in podcasting and digital ventures without shame. Hollywood & Bling Empire GossipPatrik digs into Crystal's social circle, including Christine Chiu of Bling Empire, who almost joined RHOBH before choosing Netflix glitz instead. Crystal shares how family health issues kept Christine off Bravo—and why she respects the decision not to exploit real-life struggles for ratings. Parenting in the Digital AgeThe conversation turns heartfelt as Crystal explains why her kids still don't have phones—only Apple Watches—and how social media's toxicity drives her protective instincts. Patrik counters with hilarious stories of tracking their foster daughter's location and the day she vanished…only to FaceTime them from a restaurant in Aspen after hopping a private jet with Nicolas Cage's son. Runway Rundown & Reunion FashionsThe group plays their signature Runway Rundown, dishing on RHOBH reunion looks. Patrik roasts Garcelle Beauvais'pearl mesh dress—revealing Bravo forced a last-minute wardrobe change after Sutton wore a similar color, canceling Garcelle's custom Swarovski-beaded nude gown Pol' spent nights creating. Crystal admits she prefers understated elegance and reveals her own reunion look: a deep green lace cocktail dress by Yannick Machado, paired with an enormous 30-carat Indian ring (sadly, just on loan!). Celebrity Style & Designer DramaThey also weigh in on Erika Jayne's infamous gold mesh gown by Marco Marco—especially Erika's dismissive “some designer” remark that sparked outrage in the fashion world. Patrik shares insights about dressing Beyoncé, Cardi B, and the tricky politics of costume and design. Personal Revelations & Body ImageCrystal bravely discusses her history with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia, explaining how showing cleavage on TV was a huge step in reclaiming her self-esteem. Pol' and Patrik shower her with praise, reminding her she's every bit a supermodel. Coffee Reading MagicThe episode crescendos with Pol's Armenian coffee reading. He sees unresolved tension with someone close—a betrayal that split a friend group. Crystal resonates instantly, recalling a fallout that divided her social circle. Pol' guides her through a ritual to release the energy. Crystal is visibly moved, ready to set herself free. Final Thoughts & LaughsAs the episode wraps, Crystal marvels at how accurate the reading felt and jokes about her “simple” life—while wearing a 30-carat ring and couture. Learn about this harrowing 30+ hour survival ordeal that tested every limit of human endurance, friendship, and sacrifice. Ken, a retired sheriff's deputy and water rescue expert, and Ed, a devoted father and grandfather, faced hypothermia, hallucinations, and the vast emptiness of the Gulf's treacherous currents. This deeply moving story explores the unbreakable bond between Marines, the impossible choices that love sometimes forces us to make, and the devastating reality that sometimes survival comes at the ultimate cost. We welcome back comedian, author, and former Chelsea Lately star Sarah Colonna for a no-holds-barred Part 2. From influencer lists to psychic warnings, nothing's off-limits. We start by comparing notes on being left out of influencer trips while Sarah confesses, she just came back for another coffee reading. “I just wanted a second opinion,” she laughs. The gang dives into “Haute Topics,” debating Kelsey Grammer welcoming baby number eight at 70. We react to The Chrisleys pardoned by Trump after stealing millions. “How do they get picked over people in for petty crimes?” Sarah wonders. Patrik sums it up: “Best friends with the president.” Next, we rave about Jeremy Allen White (Sarah's Shameless co-star) starring as Bruce Springsteen in a new biopic. Sarah shares she met him at table reads and jokes she wants to cameo as Courtney Cox in the “Dancing in the Dark” video. They debate whether Jeremy can sing or not. On Runway Rundown, the critiques get spicy. Chelsea Handler's silver strapless gown draws mixed reviews—Patrik calls it “prom 1975,” while Sarah defends her ex-boss: “I think it looks good on her!” Elsa Hosk's sheer, couture Cannes gown blows them away: “This is the definition of slay.” Kristen Stewart's cream shorts suit sparks debate over proportions and those controversial bobby socks. When Sarah's own red satin top appears on screen, Patrik calls it “Halloween gone bad.” She promises never to wear it again. In between fashion roasts, they commiserate over self-tape auditions. Patrik groans about taping for parts like crack dealers, plastic-surgery addicts, and porn-star managers. Sarah admits she prefers professional taping studios because filming with her husband is “a recipe for divorce.” Then it's time for Pol's coffee reading—Sarah's main reason for showing up again. He sees: A person close to her (with a “J” in the name) who pretends to be supportive but is actually jealous and waiting for the right moment to sabotage her. A project she's put aside that will unite her stand-up, writing, and acting—her real path forward. A future trip that will be canceled, and she shouldn't force it (“You'll find out later you weren't supposed to go.”). Sarah looks stunned: “I think I know who this is.” They play a game of “Sarah Colonna: Chelsea Lately or Football Wife?” recalling whether she ever flashed an audience (she didn't), spilled a drink on the owner's shoes (also didn't), or got mistaken for a cheerleader (sadly, no). They giggle about Snow White 90210 being called “Little Thunder” at football games. Sarah shares memories of her worst commercial—a Home Depot ad shot near the airport with no AC. “They were mad I was sweating in July!” she recalls. They laugh about how she still does self-tapes, though she'd rather be in the room getting feedback. Wrapping up, Sarah talks about her live shows in Oregon, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Tacoma, and Spokane. She plugs her podcasts: Are You My Podcast with Mary Radzinski The Book Lisp with her husband Jon (“It's about books—and our lisp!”) We end with Sarah declaring she feels “naked and afraid—in the best way.” This is another Hurrdat Media Production. The fourth season of "The Bear" has finally arrived, and it's one you'll not want to miss. Co-host Bruce Miller got access to all episodes before they dropped on Hulu, and the dramatic comedy that is more drama than comedy, has its lighter moments while tugging at your emotions. Then there is the latest entry in the "28 Days Later" film series, this time advancing the post-apocalyptic zombie-horror franchise "28 Years Later." Miller shares his thoughts on the film and its young breakout star, Alfie Williams. Lastly, there is a new show on Amazon's Prime Video that drops July 9. A spinoff of the show "Bosch," "Ballard" stars Maggie Q, John Carroll Lynch and Courtney Taylor. Miller has interviews with them all. Programming note: The show will take a short break for the July 4 holiday, but will return the week of July 13. About the show Streamed & Screened is a podcast about movies and TV hosted by Bruce Miller, a longtime entertainment reporter who is now the editor of the Sioux City Journal in Iowa and Terry Lipshetz, a senior producer for Lee Enterprises based in Madison, Wisconsin. Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of June 27, 2025. Even if you're not necessarily a racing fan, "F1 The Movie" (from the director/producer of Top Gun Maverick) is a spectacle worth checking out on the biggest screen and best sound possible. Also out is "M3GAN 2.0", which kind of felt like "Terminator 2", but still was different enough to be fun. And on streaming, it took Andy a couple of episodes to get the hang of "Ironheart" on Disney+ and he is hooked! It is the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe series about a girl who builds her own Iron Man suit. Now, "Countdown" on Prime Video has some good action series moments and a decent cast. Still, it didn’t draw Andy in like the other shows this week. The brains behind Fan Effect are connoisseurs of categories surpassing nerdy with a goal to publish a weekly "What to Watch on the Weekend" minisode taken from KSL-TV's Friday segment, and two deep-dives a month on shows, creative works, artists, local events, and other fandom topics. Based in the beautiful beehive state, Fan Effect celebrates Utah's unique fan culture as it has been declared The Nerdiest State in America by TIME, and is hosted by KSL Movie Show's Andy Farnsworth and KSL Podcasts' KellieAnn Halvorsen. Listen regularly on your favorite platform, at kslnewsradio.com, or on the KSLNewsRadio App. Join the conversation on Facebook @FanEffectShow, or Instagram @FanEffectShow.
