Living the Mission

We often say when we observe someone treating us or others in a cruel way, “How could they stoop that low?” We could ask that of Jesus in a slightly different way, how could Jesus stoop that low.

As long as our hope is in an outcome that's not fixed in Christ we will constantly be disappointed, we will be blown over and uprooted as people and circumstances fail us in a myriad of ways. Is your hope in Jesus?

"Faith isn't wishing something to be true; it's believing God's promises, while still unseen, are as good as done." What are you believing God for today? 

We've talked about many truths but this last one, is a constant discipline. What are you doing to guard your heart from impurity?

Marriage was never meant to be a solo act. Are you and your spouse equally yoked? Are you pulling apart or are you pulling together?

Like a human, the church requires, not one, but many different kinds of people to fulfill the needs of the community.

We are not a flawless church. However, by confession, we can become an authentic church.

How would you describe your relationship with your church? Is it a partnership or a membership?

Freedom in Christ means more than our right to do what we want; it's about the responsibility we have in His freedom and to others.

God calls us to minister to those around us on His behalf. Whether we choose to or not, impacts the lives of others.

In a world of distraction, we need to learn how to remain disciplined and faithful to the one who created us.

We can put ourselves in a box of doubt and unbelief, but God says otherwise. 

God stands with us. This week, we talk about posturing ourselves in faithfulness to step into what God has for us.

If we're honest with ourselves, some of us can be stuck in a cycle of sin. In this week, we bring up true repentance and true change.

Hear these words today and let them change your life: "See how Jesus loves you."

As Christ Followers we should be modeling what it means to be eager to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. If our relationships are disposable, our religion is.

Our bodies are of great value not only because God made them, but also because they act as the vehicle by which we glorify and honor God.

Jesus is what your inner spirit is ultimately longing for.

Jesus offers and commands a radical countercultural approach to how we perceive and engage with conflict in our world.

To walk out God's purpose and mission for your life means you must live life on purpose.

Jesus isn't simply a gift to be believed in; He's someone to be received!

Our weaknesses are the open door for God's miracle working power in our lives. God is with us!

What stories of astounding obedience will be told of my life? Jesus said, “Follow me.” Will we say, “Yes” in obedience to the Jesus? Our “Yes” in obedience to Him will have a generational impact on the world.

Your circumstance don't determine your level of Jesus, your level of abiding in Jesus does.

As followers of Christ we can live a life of thanks in action because God is always with us. Whether we are on the mountaintop or in the valley, God is with us.

For those who love God all things work together for good. God uses suffering as well as promotion to position us for His purposes.

Our passion toward obedience to seek reconciliation in a relationship where we have wounded someone, must be equal to our passion for Worship.

In times of hardship and waiting we must move from the “Why” to the “Who” is with you. Jesus is our Blessed Hope. With our focus on Him we can be faithful in the moment we are in.

Is there anything or anyone you should flee from, but instead you've been telling yourself you can manage it?

Search your heart and don't let bitterness and resentment rob you of living a blessed life today.

Just because we come from a broken past, doesn't mean we have to have a broken future.

Sharing the gospel with someone in our neighborhood, school, workplace, or grocery store is our responsibility. Saving them is His.

God has made a way for us to live a life of peace in Him. We just need to do our part to win the battle.

Many of us aren't growing in the Lord because we aren't making spiritual growth a priority. Here's how to change that.
