Many say they follow Yeshua—but few actually walk the path that leads to life. In this urgent and sobering message, we examine what it really means to walk the narrow path: a life of obedience, sacrifice, and holiness—not mere belief. Are you truly walking the way Yeshua walked, or have you settled for a version of faith that requires no transformation?Let us know what you think! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HFLD9XWRead the transcript at https://119ministries.com/narrowpathaudioNote: All sermons are written and produced by 119 Ministries. The Joy of True Repentance
We should seek to find true joy in repentance – our own and others' – as we celebrate grace and purpose to genuinely love other forgiven brothers and sisters.
In this sermon, Pastor Clint walks thru Luke 3:1-14. John the Baptist preaches a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins, warning that true repentance must bear fruit in righteous actions. He rebukes the crowds for relying on their heritage, urging them to live justly by sharing with the needy, dealing honestly, and avoiding exploitation. His message emphasizes that genuine repentance is not just about words but a transformed life that reflects God's righteousness.

Complementary New Testament Passage:John 3:16-3 Sermon Outline: 1. The Helpful Message of Condemnation2. What is True Repentance?3. Legislation which Pleased the Lord4. God Relenting explains the Gospel Family Discussion Questions: Which city did Jonah preach in? What was Jonahs message? How did the people respond? What did God do when the people repented? Did God have to stop the punishment when the people stopped their bad actions? Why is the preaching of condemnation essential to the preaching of the Gospel? Why do Christians and churches shy away from doing this? We sometimes think of the two pathways (to hell or heaven) begin with people in a neutral place or even heading to heaven. Why is this wrong? The Gospel does not make innocent people condemned. Why is that important that we realize that? Why do we sometimes think that God must save people who repent or are sorry? What do the examples in the Bible of God relenting teach us about the Gospel? Did God have to save us? What then does this teach us about the love of God in Christ? How does this passage instruct the government? How does this passage teach us about what repentance is? How does preaching about Gods judgement help us to both fear and love Jesus more?
Are we justifying sin and calling it acceptable? In this episode of The Way to Go Podcast, we dive into Psalm 32 and the urgent need for genuine repentance. Sin is destructive, but God offers forgiveness to those who confess and turn away from it. We expose the dangers of hidden sin, the weight of guilt, and the freedom found in acknowledging our failures before God. True change starts with an honest heart.
The book of Joel warns of God's judgment on Judah for their sin and calls for repentance and a remorseful return to the Lord. Sam emphasizes that it is not the fear of judgment, but rather God's kindness and mercy, that leads believers to true repentance.Watch the full video here.
Many Christians don't realize that God never intended for repentance to be a one-time event, because sin isn't overcome all at once! It's overcome little by little, and every time we truly repent, we're given new power to overcome sin, and new power for holy living.
