In this week's sermon, Pastor Nathan reveals how the consecration of the priests in Exodus 29 is but a prelude to what Jesus will do for his disciples in the New Testament and for us today.
Join us this week for the second message in our series, "Summer Dreams," with Pastor Nathan Johnson.
In part two of our Christian-ish series, Pastor Nathan shares a powerful message called Small Choices. It's often not the big decisions, but the small compromises—the ones we justify or ignore—that quietly pull us away from God's best. In this message, we're challenged to examine where selective obedience might be creeping into our lives, and how full surrender opens the door to God's blessing.

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan concludes a three-week series on time by delivering a powerful message about the importance of recognizing and engaging in spiritual warfare. Starting with the end of his sermon and using Matthew 16 as the foundational scripture, he highlights the reality of spiritual conflict and how the devil works to deceive and ensnare believers. Pastor Nathan emphasizes the need for Christians to practice rest in the Lord to prepare for spiritual battles. He explains the significance of Peter's confession of Jesus as the Messiah and the subsequent rebuke, underlining that the church must understand and actively engage in this spiritual conflict. The sermon also covers how Christians can find freedom from the strongholds of sin through genuine repentance, confession, taking every thought captive, and replacing lies with God's truth. Pastor Nathan calls for the church to rise up and reclaim their authority in Christ, focusing on the individual's role in the greater spiritual battle and the church's collective strength. For more on LifePoint Church go to lifepointaz.com Find all our links in one easy spot https://linktr.ee/lifepointaz Follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/lifepointaz Follow us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/lifepointchurchaz/
Meditation isn't about mastering information—it's about meeting with God. In this week's message, Pastor Nathan unpacks what it means to meditate on God's Word—not to prove a point or gain head knowledge, but to be with the Living Word and be transformed.
In this week's sermon, Pastor Nathan explains how the High Priest once represented all of Israel at the altar—but because Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, He is now our Great High Priest.
As Paul concludes his defense before King Agrippa, Festus interrupts Paul to remark that he is out of his mind to claim the things he has! Paul does not back down though, and with boldness makes an invitation to believe. Join us as Pastor Nathan walks us through the conclusion of this section of Acts, as we consider what it means to invite others to accept and believe that the Gospel is true.
Pastor Nathan continues the series in the book of James on Sunday morning, June 8, 2025. (James 3:1-12)

Pastor Nathan discusses the significance of sanctified time versus leisure, the renewing of the mind, and the role of imagination in spiritual life. He encourages listeners to dedicate time for rest with God, emphasizing the distinctions between Chronos and Kairos—two concepts of time in Greek. By changing our mindset and how we view our time, we can rejuvenate our connection with God and experience His rest. The message concludes with a reflection on how resting in God can multiply our time and resources, leading to a more fulfilling and impactful life.
Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3! This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to levels 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation. In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "Discernment vs. Judgement", taught by Pastor Nathan Taylor. Pastor Nathan breaks down the critical difference between the two—what we're called to do, what we should be on the lookout for, and what we need to avoid. He challenges us to reflect on what we're producing in our lives, because it's the fruit we bear that reveals whether we are in step with the Holy Spirit. But here's the big question: Do we even know what good fruit is supposed to look like? Let's find out together. If you have any questions about this topic, or about the School of Transformation, email us at info@transformationschool.org Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SchoolOfTransformationOroville/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sotoroville/
In this sermon, Pastor Nathan revisits his message from 2 Peter 2 about identifying and dealing with false teachers. He offers encouragement from Hebrews 12:4–8 to those who may be questioning themselves as possibly being false teachers, reminding us all of the characteristics of false teachers in comparison to those of God's children.
On Sunday the pastors at each Emmanuel location preached the final message for our series “Family Matters.” At Emmanuel Spring Lake Park, Pastor Nathan Grams' sermon was titled “Vision for My Family,” a powerful reminder that God has a purpose not only for us as individuals, but also as households and families. As Abraham in Genesis 13, when we lift our eyes we can look into the future and gain God's dream for our family. He is faithful to fulfill His promises, and as we believe in Him, we can begin to see a future and a hope for all that He has in store. If you couldn't join on Sunday morning, check out Pastor Nathan's message.
As we wrap up our series, Pastor Nathan gives us biblical hope that there are better things yet to come.
Pastor Nathan continues the series in the book of James on Sunday morning, May 25, 2025. (James 2:14-20)
22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words, and the word that you hear is not mine but is from the Father who sent me. 25 “I have said these things to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I am coming to you.' If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you this before it occurs, so that when it does occur you may believe.”

Pastor Nathan continues the series in the book of James on Sunday morning, May 11, 2025. (James 2:1-13)
22 At that time the Festival of the Dedication took place in Jerusalem. It was winter, 23 and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the portico of Solomon. 24 So the Judeans gathered around him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered, “I have told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name testify to me, 26 but you do not believe because you do not belong to my sheep. 27 My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, in regard to what he has given me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”
