In this message, Pastor Nathan walks us through the raw honesty of Habakkuk and the broken repentance of King David, showing how real faith engages God even when life doesn't make sense. Habakkuk boldly brings his questions and complaints before the Lord, reminding us that God is not threatened by our honesty. Rather than abandoning faith, Habakkuk learns to remember God's past faithfulness and declares, “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,” teaching us that joy is rooted in who God is—not in circumstances.Turning to Psalm 51, Pastor Nathan highlights the difference between remorse and true repentance. While remorse focuses on guilt and regret, repentance seeks heart transformation. David's prayer, “Create in me a clean heart, O God,”reveals that restored joy flows from humility, surrender, and trust in God's mercy. This sermon calls us to move beyond surface-level faith and rediscover the deep, unshakable joy found in repentance and satisfaction in the God of our salvation. For more on LifePoint Church go to lifepointaz.com Check out our merch store https://lifepointaz-shop.fourthwall.comFind all our links in one easy spot https://linktr.ee/lifepointaz Follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/lifepointaz Follow us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/lifepointchurchaz/
In this sermon, Pastor Nathan preaches this main point: Put your hope in the God who forgives.
During this season of Advent, Pastor Nathan discusses just how Jesus is our "Prince of Peace" in a world that still often feels like it is ANYTHING but peaceful! Jesus' resurrection was the HINGE on which the door to the Kingdom of God swung open, and one day it will be fully realized! Until then, it is forcefully advancing and those who are awakened are advancing it forcefully! (Matthew 11:12)
Pastor Nathan continues the sermon series in the book of Matthew on Sunday morning, November 30, 2025. (Matthew 4:1-11)
1 In those days John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness of Judea, proclaiming, 2 "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near." 3 This is the one of whom the prophet Isaiah spoke when he said, "The voice of one crying out in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.' " 4 Now John wore clothing of camel's hair with a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region around the Jordan were going out to him, 6 and they were baptized by him in the River Jordan, confessing their sins. 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, "You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Therefore, bear fruit worthy of repentance, 9 and do not presume to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our ancestor,' for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children to Abraham. 10 Even now the ax is lying at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 "I baptize you with water for repentance, but the one who is coming after me is more powerful than I, and I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and will gather his wheat into the granary, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire."

In this Advent sermon, Pastor Nathan unpacks one of the most powerful themes of the season—Peace—and how it's inseparably connected to humility. Advent is more than counting down to Christmas; it's about preparing our hearts to receive Jesus, the One who fulfills God's ancient promises. This week, we dive deeper into the attributes of Advent—hope, peace, love, and joy—and discover why humility isn't just an optional trait for believers but a non-negotiable posture before God.Why peace is a Person, not a feelingHow Micah's prophecy of a humble Savior from Bethlehem reveals God's heartThe danger and beauty of praying: “Lord, bring humility into my life.”Why the people of God often miss what outsiders eagerly embraceHow pride blinds us spiritually—and how humility opens our ears to God's voiceA challenge to reject passive church attendance and respond actively to GodHumility as a requirement, not a suggestion (Micah 6:8)The prophecy of the coming Messiah (Micah 5:2–5)Peace in the person of Jesus, given to all who receive HimOur response to God's voice—not just hearing truth, but acting on itPastor Nathan challenges every believer to move beyond routine church attendance and step into a lifestyle of active surrender, prayer, humility, and community. Advent isn't about going through motions—it's about returning to Jesus with fresh hunger and open hearts.Let this message draw you into deeper reflection, deeper peace, and deeper humility as we journey toward celebrating the birth of Christ.

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan talks about the third movement of the Exodus. God had led his people on an EXODUS OUT of slavery in Egypt. God had then led His people on an EXODUS THROUGH the wilderness where they had learned to trust in Him. Now God was leading them on the final movement; the EXODUS IN to the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! Jesus breaks every stronghold, and every wall will fall in His powerful name!

Join us this week for the eleventh message in our series, "Hello Jesus," with Pastor Jared Clausen.
In this powerful final message of our Jeremiah series, Pastor Nathan challenges us to wake up, break free from cultural compromise, and choose—once and for all—whom we will serve. Drawing from Jeremiah and Revelation, he exposes the patterns of modern Babylon and the spiritual fog that keeps believers passive, distracted, and spiritually numb. This message calls us back to repentance, revival, and full allegiance to God's Kingdom. Pastor Nathan unpacks the battle between the two kingdoms—within us and around us—and shows why this moment in history demands courage, clarity, and decisive obedience.Heather's prophetic vision of believers laying down their flesh on a battlefield drives the point home: revival requires sacrifice, holiness, and a daily decision to surrender. If you're tired of lukewarm faith… if you feel the pull of the world growing stronger… if you sense God stirring something in you—this message is for you. It's time to wake up. It's time to choose. It's time to be decisive.
The world disciples us to crave more—more money, more status, more security. But God calls His people to something radically different: contentment shaped by the character of Christ. This week, Pastor Nathan teaches from 1 Timothy 6 and throughout Scripture that the Lord—not our job, not the government, not our hustle—is the true source of all provision. Because God is generous and wise, His people must be shrewd stewards and radically generous.
What does it really mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit? In this Q&A episode, Pastor Stephen Martin and Pastor Nate Brown explore the complete work of the Holy Spirit in believers' lives—from the moment of salvation through sanctification, spiritual gifts, and miraculous works. Discover how the New Covenant reality of the Spirit living IN you differs from Old Testament experiences, why the fruit of the Spirit proves genuine salvation, and how spiritual gifts operate biblically in today's church. You'll Learn:✅ The Trinity's role in creation and salvation✅ Why hearing God's voice is evidence of being saved✅ Salvation vs. sanctification explained clearly✅ The fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5✅ Three categories of spiritual gifts and how they function✅ Biblical guidelines for testing prophetic words✅ Modern testimonies of miraculous healings✅ Why every miracle points to God's coming kingdom
In this sermon, Pastor Nathan teaches about one of the greatest thanksgiving feasts ever; when a dinner was held in Jesus' honor for raising Lazarus from death to life! In this story we see how three very different people expressed their pure thanksgiving to God for His great gift! When our Thanksgiving is "dulled" in "the land of PLENTY", God can sharpen us back up when we give THANKS to Him for His great gifts!
Pastor Nathan continues the sermon series in the book of Matthew on Sunday morning, November 16, 2025. (Matthew 3:13-17)
Dive into this powerful message from our Jeremiah's Lament series as Pastor Nathan unpacks the difference between reformation and true revival. Through Jeremiah's life, we explore a people who gave God lip service while their hearts remained far from Him—and how the same temptation exists today. From Jeremiah 3:10's warning to the deeper promise of Jeremiah 29:11, we're reminded that God calls us not to shallow change but to heart-level transformation. We walk through Jeremiah 12, 31, and 33, seeing the trials Jeremiah faced, the new covenant God promised, and the hope of the coming Messiah. This message challenges us to reject empty religion, confront spiritual pretense, and embrace the revival God desires to spark in us today. If you're craving a deeper walk with God, this sermon will stir your spirit and call you higher.

In this sermon, Pastor Nathan shares one of the central stories of the Bible, the great Exodus of God's people from slavery in Egypt! In this story, we come to know that there is an inner slavery that only a new and better Moses, Jesus, can truly set us free from!
27 Some Sadducees, those who say there is no resurrection, came to [Jesus] 28 and asked him a question: "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies leaving a wife but no children, the man shall marry the widow and raise up children for his brother. 29 Now there were seven brothers; the first married a woman and died childless; 30 then the second 31 and the third married her, and so in the same way all seven died childless. 32 Finally the woman also died. 33 In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will the woman be? For the seven had married her." 34 Jesus said to them, "Those who belong to this age marry and are given in marriage, 35 but those who are considered worthy of a place in that age and in the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. 36 Indeed, they cannot die anymore, because they are like angels and are children of God, being children of the resurrection. 37 And the fact that the dead are raised Moses himself showed, in the story about the bush, where he speaks of the Lord as the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38 Now he is God not of the dead but of the living, for to him all of them are alive."
