In this captivating episode, Frankie Val welcomes spiritual researcher and author Gigi Young for a deep dive into the unseen forces shaping our world. From her beginnings as a model to her awakening into spiritual sight, Gigi unpacks the layers of human consciousness, psychic development, and Christian mysticism. The conversation ventures into the nature of evil through Rudolf Steiner's teachings, the spiritual dangers of AI and transhumanism, and the occult roots of technology itself. Today I'm joined by two film makers - Tim and Tristan Kenyon - to talk about their remarkable and emotional documentary, Changing Track. Tim and Tristan are brothers whose lives and careers to date make them unlikely track cycling Paralympic story tellers, but the film is all the better for their lack of cycling knowledge and avoidance of stereotypes of lycra men constantly checking their power output data. Changing Track follows three Paralympic athletes - Korey Boddington, Emily Petricola and Kane Perriss, plus Kane's tandem pilot Luke Zaccaria, in their pursuit of greatness at the 2024 Paris Games.I saw the trailer for Changing Track and knew immediately I wanted to chat about it on this show as I know personally how powerful and memorable sport and athletics can be as a platform to tell stories about the human spirit and experience. I've been fortunate to participate in sports teams and experience glimpses into environments where elite performers perform, and have some understanding into what it takes to create something meaningful and successful. What Tim and Tristan do with Changing Track is not only a documentary about Korey, Emily and Kane's extraordinary lives, but highlights themes of resilience, adversity, unity, camaraderie, perseverance and the indomitability of the human psyche once the heart is clear on what it wants.I also wanted to chat with Tim and Tristan about their craft and how that relates to the work of change makers. For many of us, our daily lives involve efforts to convince, influence, coerce, negotiate, compromise in pursuit of the change we want in the world - all of that requires the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. Changing Track offered me and I think it will you the ability to re-think or refine how you go about speaking with others and the ways that you tell stories. As a story telling species, this is an essential skill. In this conversation we talk about the film itself, the extraordinary stories of regular people, the art and craft of story, Tim and Tristan's relationship to hardship and suffering, and how all of us have and will again inevitability deal with our own serious challenges and the need to overcome.Sport isn't for everyone, I appreciate that. What Tim and Tristan have created with Changing Track is more than a story of sport and athletic pursuit though, but one of how the human spirit can soar - yours and mine. In this heartfelt conversation with bestselling author Mark Sullivan (Beneath a Scarlet Sky, The Last Green Valley, All the Glimmering Stars), we explore what happens when both writing — and life — begin to flow from the heart instead of the mind. Mark shares how a personal crisis became the turning point that transformed his creative path and his way of being. Together, we talk about the thread that runs through all his books — the power of love, vision, forgiveness, and gratitude to lift the human spirit — and how these same forces shaped his own transformation. Hello to you listening in these still indivisible United States of America!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday and your host, Diane Wyzga.I've been following Parker Palmer's work since I bought a copy of his book, Let Your Life Speak - Listening For the Voice of Vocation, in 1999. You might be familiar with this quote which has become a guiding light for me: “Before you tell your life what you intend to do with it, listen for what it intends to do with you. Before you tell your life what truths and values you have decided to live up to, let your life tell you what truths you embody, what values you represent.” Over these past months We the People have turned occasional protests into protest projects coupled with growing political power to heal democracy. How else do we need? Palmer's book, Healing the Heart of Democracy; The Courage to Create a Politics Worthy of the Human Spirit (published in 2011) draws on our human instinct to choose hope, creativity and action for the common good over conflict.Following are five “habits of the heart” that can help us restore democracy's foundations as we nurture them in ourselves and each other: • An understanding that we are all in this together • An appreciation of the value of “otherness” • An ability to hold tension in life-giving ways • A sense of personal voice and agency • A capacity to create communityChange arises out of chaos; but we have to learn the root causes of the chaos in order to shepherd our way to change. If it's true that a nation gets the government it deserves, I believe it is also true that We the People are shaping the government we desire with truth, values and heart work: a democracy of the people, by the people, for the people.Question: What truths and values do you represent that will help heal our democracy? And thank you for listening. You're always welcome: "Come for the stories - Stay for the magic!" Could artificial intelligence be the breakthrough Haiti desperately needs? In this episode, I explore how AI technology might revolutionize peace negotiations and conflict resolution in one of the world's most dangerous situations. Drawing on insights from Henry Kissinger and Eric Schmidt's groundbreaking book "Genesis," I break down how AI can analyze complex conflict dynamics, process massive amounts of data, and generate innovative solutions that human negotiators might miss. What You'll Learn: ✅ How AI can transform peace negotiations in active conflict zones ✅ The critical difference between forgiveness and reconciliation ✅ Why justice and peace often conflict in Haiti's situation ✅ The strategic importance of ceasefires vs. truces ✅ AI's role in analyzing gang dynamics and power structures ✅ How machine learning can identify negotiation opportunities ✅ Real strategies for implementing AI-driven peace processes Key Insights from "Genesis" Henry Kissinger and Eric Schmidt's final collaboration reveals how AI is reshaping governance and international relations. I apply their framework specifically to Haiti's gang crisis, showing how technology could break decades of failed peace attempts. The Haiti Crisis Context With gang violence controlling 80% of Port-au-Prince and humanitarian conditions deteriorating daily, traditional approaches have failed. This video explores whether AI represents a genuine paradigm shift or just another failed promise. As artificial intelligence becomes more powerful and pervasive, how will it affect our work, our lives, and our ability to connect? Brené Brown, research professor and best-selling author says she hears a lot of experts trying to soothe people's anxiety about the pace of technological change by offering platitudes like, What makes us human will ensure our relevance. This is dangerous because, as she explains, we're not especially good at what makes us human. We're not hardwired for the current level of uncertainty, and many of us feel as if the constant need to self-protect is driving the humanity right out of us.Brown joins Kate Crawford, AI scholar and University of Southern California professor, who points out that so much of what's driving our feelings of emptiness and disconnection around AI is rooted in the fact that artificial intelligence is fundamentally a technology of extraction – it depends on the intensive exploitation of raw materials, human labor, and personal data. Together, Drs. Brown and Crawford encourage us to advocate for authentic connection over algorithmic convenience.

In this final recap before our closing tribute, we explore Section VI of Robert Paul Wolff's Political Man and Social Man, where the focus shifts to conscience, control, and the institutions that shape us. From workplace studies to prison systems, moral philosophy to haunting parable, this section asks: How do we remain fully human within structures built to constrain us? Featuring reflections on George Homans, Erving Goffman, John Stuart Mill, and Fyodor Dostoyevsky—alongside peace pairings with Sophie Delaunay, Eleanor Rathbone, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Nelson Mandela—this episode honors those who dared to defend dignity from the inside out. In this solo episode of the Pyllon Ultra Pod, Paul takes a slow, reflective journey into the deeper layers of endurance — not as sport, but as a human experience. Building on recent conversations with Jeev, Gus, and Alan, and echoing themes from his latest Substack essay “When the Race Strips Us Back,” this episode explores the emotional costs of going all in, the relationship between mind and body, and the quiet revelations that emerge through long efforts. Drawing on his own experiences; from winning the West Highland Way Race to breaking down in the New Zealand backcountry, Paul opens up about what it means to truly endure, and how suffering, presence, and stillness all play a part in uncovering who we really are. This isn't a pep talk. It's a pause. An invitation to feel more. To listen more. And to remember that the long run is more than training — it's a way home.

Drawing on her personal experience, she explores the Eisenhower administration's alleged covert dealings with alien civilizations and the establishment of Mars colonies as part of a secret survival strategy. She contrasts these hidden agendas with her belief in an organic ascension timeline and the role of humanity in breaking free from these manipulated paths. Artificial general intelligence, or AGI, has long been the holy grail of innovation — a synthetic intelligence with all the capabilities of a human mind or more. Recent advances in AI have many predicting we could be closer to achieving it than we’re ready for. It’s a reality that preoccupied the late diplomat Henry Kissinger before he died last year at 100 years old. He collaborated with Eric Schmidt, formerly at Google, and Craig Mundie, formerly at Microsoft, on the new book “Genesis: Artificial Intelligence, Hope and the Human Spirit.” Mundie joined Marketplace’s Meghan McCarty Carino to discuss what a future with superintelligence might look like.
