This time of year, we're "dreaming of a white Christmas," but even more so for God's promise of true comfort and peace on earth!

In times such as these, we need a little Christmas in God's promise of a Savior!

On Thanksgiving Day – and always – we are called to never forget the abundant blessings of our God!

Even in these uncertain times, we know of God's sure and certain promise of new heavens and a new earth!

Our God is the God of the living, and we are children of the resurrection!

As illustrated by a “wee little man” named Zacchaeus and his treetop encounter with Jesus, there's great value of our going out on a limb as regards faith!

According to Jesus, to "get it right" when it comes to life and living requires faith... and humility!

On continuing to learn and grow from scripture inspired by God!

The heart of true faith begins with the spirit of true thanksgiving!

We're all invited to share in the joyful feast of the people of God!

To "keep the faith" in these days requires the kind of peace that only Jesus can provide!

Ours is the God who promises to make all things new, but in the meantime you and I live "between the now and not yet."

Even as we walk along life's most difficult roads, we are never alone but ever in the presence of the loving Savior!

Nicodemus came to Jesus by night with more questions than he ever expected... but left with the most important answer of all!

Some thoughts on Humility, Grace and Ash Wednesday...

When it comes to LOVE, we also have to talk about Jesus' call to love our enemies!

As God gives it and intends for it to be give, LOVE is something that's ever changing, growing and deepening over time!

Love, as Paul describes it, is "a more excellent way..." but it is also, and always, our choice!

Love is truly "a more excellent way," and needs to have first priority in our lives!

As we truly come to know Jesus, we are confronted with the challenge of living what we already understand to be true!
