Welcome to another short but empowering episode of Monday Motivation, giving you a dose of inspiration as you head into your week... Today, we explore the idea that your imagination isn’t just a place for daydreams—it’s a powerful preview of life’s coming attractions, a concept beautifully captured by Albert Einstein: "Your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions." Isn’t that just beautiful to think about? Here are three key takeaways you can expect from this episode: How to use imagination as a daily tool to manifest your dream life. Three practical ways to turn your imagination into inspired action. Why your dreams aren’t silly—they’re sacred. Take this opportunity to learn how to use visualisation, journaling, and aligned actions to reconnect with your dreams and make them real. As always, I’d LOVE to hear what resonates with you from this episode and what you plan to implement after listening in. So please share and let’s keep the conversation going in the Dream Life Podcast Facebook Group here. Have a wonderful week …and remember, it all starts with a dream

The four Gospels give the biography of Jesus. Four different writers with four different perspectives. Yet all four, focus on the last week of Jesus life. 35% of each book is devoted to the last week. Matthew, Luke, Mark (Peter) and John, all felt we could not understand Jesus unless we understood this last week of His life. Palm Sunday is a Day and a Doorway. It matters because of the paradoxes revealed. A week that begins in triumph ends in tragedy. The Jews were expecting Jesus to overthrow the Roman rulers, but instead, He overthrew death, hell, the grave, sin and darkness. The last week signaled a paradigm shift for humanity. From cheering crowds to the weeping Christ. From joy to judgement. From waving palm branches to waving whips. Matthew 21 tells of Jesus cleansing the Temple. The Jews were expecting a Regime Change-they got a Revolution! Mark 11, the donkey takes up half the story. Why does Jesus need this donkey? Why does He get it in such an unusual way? This begs the question: What does He need from you? What do you have that no one else has to advance the Kingdom? Luke 19 contrasts the reaction to Jesus: a story of Mixed Reviews. John 12 is a preview of Coming Attractions; by tying Jesus' entry to Lazarus' death and resurrectionS, previews what Jesus will go through. John 12;23-24 Palm Sunday is not, and cannot be, just a day of triumph (He's King!), but also the start of His suffering (the only crown this King will wear is thorns). It wasn't long before those singing “Hosanna,” were shouting, “Crucify Him.” Philippians 2:5-11 Christ's trajectory- kenosis-downward emptying, then upward exaltation. The same path is required for believers today! The last week of Jesus' life is a tale of two basins: The basin Jesus used to wash the disciple's feet. The basin Pilot used to wash his hands of responsibility for this state-sponsored murder. The last week of Jesus life was a turning point, from action to passion. Things are no longer done by Him, but TO Him. Jesus most powerful work is done in His passion. Could it just be possible that our greatest contribution in life may be not through our achievements as usually defined but through our suffering?” This week culminated with Jesus dying between two felons. Jesus became the One who does not count, so He could rescue all of us who do not count. Today, we celebrate the day, and we walk through the Doorway! +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://www.anctally.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://x.com/allnationstally

Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
Did Lori Vallow just turn her courtroom into a circus tent? The "Doomsday Mom" Lori Vallow Daybell, already serving a life sentence for the murders of her two children and Tammy Daybell, now insists on representing herself in upcoming Arizona trials for conspiracy to commit murder and charges related to her former husband, Charles Vallow. How does a woman deemed severely mentally ill in Idaho now get the green light to play lawyer? Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott dives into the twisted psychology of Vallow's delusions, from seeing her children as zombies to crafting a reality so detached it makes a carnival look sane. With her love for attention fueling this chaotic decision, the courtroom is set for what feels like a darkly tragic performance art piece. Can a judge really allow this circus to proceed? Could this decision backfire on appeal? And what does this say about a legal system that seems to repeat its own madness? #TrueCrime #LoriVallow #DaybellTrial #CourtroomDrama #DelusionalDisorder #TrueCrimePodcast #HiddenKillers Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? Welcome to our new mini-episodes, where we get to talk about upcoming movies you should seek out. For this installment, we're talking about the film Get Away coming from IFC Films and Shudder in theaters on December 6th. A family takes a holiday on a remote island where there may be more going on than meets the eye. The film stars Nick Frost, Aisling Bea, Sebastian Croft, Maisie Ayres, and Eero Milonoff. Is it worth a trek out to the theaters? Find out.
Tommy, our intrepid host, plunges into the abyss of existential dread this week, dragging Kyle, Kynan, and Pete along for the harrowing ride. They grapple with three films that explore the unnerving realities behind the horrors of being an adult.First up, Vivarium. Imagine, if you will, the quintessential suburban nightmare. Cookie-cutter houses stretching into an unsettling infinity, a chirping, unsettling child not your own, and the slow, creeping realization that escape is an illusion. Is it a commentary on the soul-crushing monotony of modern life? A chilling parable of alien brood parasitism? Or perhaps, a darkly comedic reflection of parenthood itself?Next, they venture into the corporate jungle with The Belko Experiment. Eighty employees trapped in a high-rise, forced to participate in a gruesome game of kill-or-be-killed. The veneer of civility shatters, revealing the primal instincts simmering beneath the surface of workplace decorum. Is it social commentary disguised as a splatterfest? A Darwinian exploration of capitalism's dark underbelly? Or simply a guilty pleasure wallowing in ultraviolence? Finally, they confront the horrors of aging and mental decline in The Father. Anthony Hopkins delivers a masterful performance as a man losing his grip on reality, the film's disorienting structure mirroring his fragmented consciousness. This isn't your typical jump-scare horror; it's a slow burn of psychological terror, a visceral exploration of a fear that resonates with us all.Film SundriesWatch the movies discussed:Vivarium: Apple • Amazon • JustWatchThe Belko Experiment: Apple • Amazon • JustWatchThe Father: Apple • Amazon • JustWatch (00:00) - Welcome to Sitting in the Dark (02:38) - Vivarium (34:25) - The Belko Experiment (52:32) - The Father (01:02:12) - Father 1 (01:02:21) - Father 2 (01:02:44) - Father 4 (01:03:04) - Father 7 (01:03:18) - Father 8 (01:03:34) - The Father (01:15:47) - There is no bow (01:17:30) - Coming Attractions

Episode300: 5 Coming Attractions You Don't Need to Miss Coming attractions are a big part of a movie experience. What does the future at a movie theater hold? WELL fewer people go to the movies and most people don't have a clue what movies are coming out in the near future. Times have shifted. I was in Colorado perfoming a wedding this past weekend. Something really struck me. Two locations…one where a mega church once stood in what would be (in my estimation be building worth in the tens of millions of dollars). The other is a church that at one time housed maybe 250 people in an amazing location and a property worth several million. Neither church congregation even exists today. Tragic! This story plays several times over in Colorado and all across our nation. We would be short-sighted not to pay attention to the lessons we can learn from coming attractions. I know from these two churches' stories that the mega church died due to scandal and the other church died with a leader who had a track record of terrible leadership. - Alan What are some of the coming attractions we must see? 1) expect a growing distrust of clergy and organizations. In many people's minds, the larger the organization, the larger cover-ups must be. 2) Expect a need to change leadership style. Once upon a time, strong leaders led, and followers followed. Today, strong leaders build a collaborative team and lead through teams. 3) Expect unchurched people to be messy additions to your congregation. When a new family attends your church, they may have little or no church background. Do you have clear pathways to help their faith grow? People will come your way if you do. 4) Expect some churches to fail. I don't want to see any of our churches fail, but reality tells a different story. Failure to adapt and change, failure to be outreach-minded… Most churches wait until they are too far down the death trail to get help. All churches end - but that does not mean they failed - They are placed by God at a place in time and location on purpose for a purpose! 5) Expect buildings to get more costly. Churches should consider asking how the building use can increase. Home school co-ops, chamber of commerce meetings, business leader lunches…put your buildings to use. Busy buildings are more financially viable.
