They talk about why they adore this movie, how Treat Williams was the early prototype for Nathan Fillion and get derailed by a huge soda belch. Spoilers: It was Vanessa.

In a one off episode, the Low Com Gals get together to talk about Osmosis Jones, the great animation and the not so great live action, and great voice acting performances, Also Vanessa wants to copulate with a deadly disease and Olivia has a bone to pick with Bill Murray's sweaty toe.

The LowCom gals are back talking about Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Edgar Wright, generational comedy and storytelling through editing.

Nes and Olivia gather to spend way too much gushing about Pikachu's cheeks, what good lighting can do for a moment, film noir and what the future of the Pokemon franchise looks like. 

Kicking off the video game themed mini-series, the LowCom gals talk about the Pokemon games, Pokemon Go conspiracies and the joy of being the very best like no one ever was. 

Nes and Olivia wrap up Stephen King month with TV mini-series The Langoleirs. 

Olivia and Nes talk about the black and white version of The Mist, loose adaptations, the phenomenal cast, exciting new news and eeriness of small town settings.

Spoilers Heavy Episode: There's a first time for everything and your favorite giggling Bong Rips did not care for this movie. They rant about pacing, setting a tone and the original movie/book compared to the remake. Also Pocky is delicious and Vanessa hates ankle stuff.  

Olivia and Nes welcome their guest, Dane Bowling (Nightchurch). They kick off Stephen King month with his directorial debut Maximum Overdrive, a film he famously does not remember any aspect of directing.  They go over it's plot (The happening, but with trucks), talk about why they love low brow media, the film's refusal to use any music that isn't AC/DC and somehow end up on a tangent about Venom again. 

Nes and Olivia (Neslivia?) wax poetic about the cultural impact of three seasons of getting hit in the nuts. The cover the lovely universal appeal of slapstick starting from Buster Keaton, how Johnny Knoxville started out as a early 2000s Hunter S Thompson, the Magnificent Seven-esque gathering of the cast and the controversies during the show's run. 

In a quick break from the regular mini-series the LowComPhenom gals record an episode to take a moment to talk about the movie that just blew their brains open. They also cover Vanessa's best impression of Linda Blair, Olivia's explosive morning and many spoilers for the movie Us.

The girls get emotional on an episode about early to mid 2000s emo. They that about the importance of being unflinchingly, embarrassingly earnest and how emo opened a door to sexual and gender expression. Also, the history of the word, teenaged foibles and utter everlasting bangers. 

Nes and Liv recount their youths as the absolute worst teens on the planet in the start of a tween themed miniseries. They kick it off with an episode covering early to mid 2000s metal like System of a Down, Powerman 5000, Fear Factory and pretty much anything else that probably tastes like Monster Energy Drink. They reminisce over Tripp pants, Guitar Hero and terrible first concert stories. Also Olivia shares about her time in a community production of Grease and Vanessa humped couches.

In a special bonus episode Olivia and Vanessa curl up and provide 3 hours (they're basically heroes) to be watched along with The Last Jedi. Get cozy with the human equivalents of Sativa and Indica as they talk about why the Last Jedi is a masterclass in making a blockbuster. 

The LowCom Broads are on one as they create the least important piece of media every created in the history of mankind. They talk about Critters 4, Angela Basset and dearly missed 90's sci fi tropes. They also touch on Troma-style kills that wig them out, intent in films and the wettest looking man in the world.

Nes and Olivia shout a love letter to the deeply self aware and anti-corporate, Gremlins 2. They gush into the anarchistic pacing of Looney Tunes, yuppie satire and what might happen if you consummate a relationship with a Gremlin. 

Human Bong Rips Olivia Haidar and Vanessa Gritton dig deep into Tremors 2. They talk about monster design and practical effects, great gags on a smaller movie budget, promotional toys and who the market is for "cool mermaids". Also, denim butts. 

In their first month as a podcast Olivia and Nes take a deep dive into February's mini-series theme: Sequels. They're kicking it off with the best dinosaur movie sequel on record, why they're not a movie podcast, loving things without irony, Sam Neil selling the f*ck out of a scene and Vanessa's strange crushes on unknown b-movie actors. Also, they yearn for the days of the 90 minute movie, sifting through dinosaur poop, Olivia's celebrity meetup story, and the pop culture treasure trove of trash.
