Check into Castle Plunkett for a supernatural comedy that mashes together horny ghosts, Irish folklore, and peak ‘80s weirdness: High Spirits! Commissioned by Sydney in Texas—lover of Beetlejuice, Elvira, and men of questionable taste—this forgotten flick from 1988 boasts an absurdly stacked cast: Steve Guttenberg, Daryl Hannah, Beverly D'Angelo, Peter O'Toole, Jennifer Tilly, and a young Liam Neeson playing a ghostly creep. Gene and Big D dive into a movie that's half Scooby-Doo, half ghost-sex fever dream. They explore the film's jarring tonal shifts, from slapstick hauntings to surprisingly dark (and wet) ghost lore, complete with a mermaid musical battle and “skelping”—a euphoric ghost-human contact that raises some ethical eyebrows. Is High Spirits an underrated gem or a tonal trainwreck haunted by studio meddling? Would Jack have stayed loyal to his ghost bride if she kept her crumbling corpse form? And why are the castle's real ghosts so damn lazy? Strap into your flying bed, pour a spooky drink, and join us for an episode packed with laughs, lusty spirits, and longing for the Japanese director's cut. Tonight on Triple Feature, Mark Radulich and Mac Kettner embark on a cinematic journey through the bold, genre-bending filmography of the Wachowski Sisters, tracing their artistic evolution from the noir-tight thriller Bound (1996), through the ambitious, time-hopping epic Cloud Atlas (2012), to the sprawling, space-operatic chaos of Jupiter Ascending (2015).We begin with Bound, their directorial debut—a lean, tightly constructed neo-noir starring Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly. While remembered today for its stylized depiction of a lesbian relationship and its feminist reversal of genre tropes, the film also laid the groundwork for the Wachowskis' signature style: sharp visual framing, subversive gender politics, and a meticulous blend of genre tradition and rebellion. Critics at the time praised its confidence and tension, and it's since become a cult classic, often cited for how it queered the crime genre with both sensuality and grit.Fast forward to Cloud Atlas, a deeply ambitious adaptation of David Mitchell's novel. Co-directed with Tom Tykwer, the film features a sprawling ensemble cast—Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Jim Broadbent, Doona Bae—playing multiple interconnected roles across six timelines. Aesthetic maximalism meets spiritual recursion here: past lives, future consequences, and the collapse of individual identity into something larger. The film was divisive, praised for its ambition but criticized for its complex structure and controversial use of makeup. Still, in retrospect, Cloud Atlas is regarded as a turning point—a declaration that the Wachowskis were more interested in ideas than in simple spectacle. Finally, we crash into Jupiter Ascending—a wildly uneven, endlessly fascinating space opera starring Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum. The film throws genetic royalty, flying rollerblades, Eddie Redmayne whisper-shouting, and bureaucratic intergalactic dynasties into a blender. It's messy, no doubt. But it's also unmistakably Wachowskian: rich with metaphor, post-capitalist critique, and gendered power struggles wrapped in ridiculous sci-fi fantasy. It was largely panned upon release, but like much of their work, Jupiter Ascending has developed a loyal fanbase who see past the surface chaos to the emotional and thematic sincerity underneath.Through these three films, we trace the Wachowski Sisters' cinematic transformation: from intimate noir storytellers to high-concept philosophers to unapologetically maximalist dreamers. No matter the box office or Rotten Tomatoes score, their work consistently pushes boundaries—of genre, identity, and cinematic form itself. So buckle in. We're talking legacy, aesthetics, ideas, and all the gloriously weird stuff in between.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59
It's Part 1 with the one and only Crystal Kung Minkoff for a glitzy, gloriously unfiltered episode! Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Humble Brag podcast queen, and wife of The Lion King director Rob Minkoff, Crystal joins Pol' & Patrik to spill tea—unsweetened, over-iced, and stirred with Armenian coffee. With Snow White 90210 at the groomer (priorities, people), the boys dive into Crystal's Housewives origin story: a casual Mommy & Me moment with Teddi Mellencamp turned into a Zoom with 20 Bravo execs. In designer athleisure, she was crowned a new Housewife. Her reaction? “Uh…okay?” Even the Bravo head honcho was gagged. Crystal didn't chase fame—she married into it. With over 20 years alongside Rob, she had a lot to lose. Between raising kids and protecting her husband's Disney reputation, she wasn't about to get shredded by Lisa Rinna for sport. Even Rob's agent (who reps Brandi Glanville and Denise Richards) told her: “Don't do it!” But Bravo got her. Zoom filming turned into sipping with Kyle Richards, dodging Erika Jayne-level drama, and saying “hell no” to shady producer setups. As for the cast? Crystal's real ones were Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke—until the group chat imploded. (Looking at you, Random

In the 889th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Mike Holtz, and [Kyna England talk about the recent drama involving, you guessed it, Maurice Hawkins and Denise Pratt. The latter claims to be owed $11,200 after backing the former, and things boiled over when she confronted him at the payout desk at the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Tunica stop. What's more, the crew reacts to an interview Hawkins gave on his own podcast, him agreeing to come on the PokerNews Podcast before not responding, and then goes one-on-one with Denise Pratt to hear her side of the story. Mike then shares his experience as the last guest on the final episode of the Only Friends Podcast (they were kind enough to gift a piece of their set to the PokerNews Podcast set), Kyna joins Team Hotdog at the LIPS Spring Festival, and Chad headed up to the NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Oh, and Connor was busy at PokerGO Studio interviewing Jennifer Tilly, Mike Matusow, and comedian Ray Romano during the One Step Closer Foundation's "All in for CP" charity event. Academy Award Nominee Jennifer Tilly is having a bit of a moment. After bursting onto the scene in the 1990s - after years of the usual Hollywood slog - she made serious cultural marks in films like Bound and as a scream queen in the Chucky movies and television show. She was also half of one of the least trashy divorces we've ever heard of, which is also how she became independently wealthy enough to - now - appear as a friend on the latest seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Send us a textRHOBH-Reunion Part 3-The Word on the Street Is… DRAMARHOBH Reunion Part 3The final part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion delivered raw emotion, explosive confrontations, and surprising moments of clarity. Tensions soared as Sutton defended herself against accusations of arrogance, gift-giving manipulation, and rumors of a drinking problem. Dorit and Boz challenged her, while Garcelle called out the group's double standards and lack of grace toward her.Garcelle and Boz's heated exchange over being labeled “angry” reignited a broader conversation around stereotypes and emotional expression. Meanwhile, Sutton opened up about unresolved trauma tied to her father's passing and complex relationship with her mother—a surprisingly tender and emotional arc.Kyle faced tough questions about her marriage and separation from Mauricio. She revealed feelings of sadness and distance, acknowledged she had seen his messages before the split, and addressed swirling rumors about her sexuality. Erika opened up about her emotional growth, her son's involvement in the A$AP Rocky trial, and the surreal feeling of watching her ex-husband's legal downfall.Jennifer Tilly added levity with corn dogs and heartfelt support for Sutton. Kathy Hilton was equal parts Steel Magnolia and comic relief, while Dorit found genuine friendship in a surprising place. The episode wrapped with final reflections, affirming friendships, personal growth, and a playful toast from Jennifer: “The best ships in the world are friendships.”Support the showhttps://www.wewinewhenever.com/

RHOBH Season 14. That's a wrap and Part Three of the reunion did not disappoint. Sutton worked hard to repair her friendship with Kyle, Erika and, gasp, maybe even Dorit. Everyone except Garcelle, that is. Andy Cohen outed Kyle - again - and, even though he cannot wait to see where her life journey leads her, one thing is for sure. We will not see that journey next season as it relates to Morgan Wade, infidenlity rumors surrounding Mo or the ultimate dissolution of her marriage. In other words, nothing has changed. Jennifer Tilly and Boz share first season revelations and changes. Kathy tries to offer support to Kyle but she is not feeling it. Oh yea, if you haven't heard Garcelle has walked out, quit, and exited the building like only Lisa Rinna wishes she could have. There is a lot to say about Garcelle's exit with mixed feelings, mixed reactions and mixed emotions all of which are broken down here today. The real final straws that led to Garcelle's exit will be discussed as it is time to get real separating fact from fiction. In other news, The Valley premieres, Kristen Doute is vindicated, Jesse and Michelle emerge as messy AF, Jax jaxes and cast leaks for RHOBH Season 15 emerge. @behindvelvetrope @davidyontef Learn more about your ad choices. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Part Two has come and gone and hunni it did not disappoint. Andy holds Kyle's feet to the flame over she who shall not be mentioned. Jennifer Tilly eats on stage - a first? - and reminds us how rich she is. Speaking of rich, Kathy Hilton reminds us why she should not be crossed. Garcelle becomes more annoyed at the Diamond Holders by the minute. Erika says very little, so little that we wonder if this is the foreshadowing which has led to her exit rumors next season. Sutton and Dorit face off in an epic showdown which reminds us how low brow it apparently is to live on a main f'ing road - even if it is in Bel Air, being called poor is apparently worse in Bev Hills than being called a see you next… and that Dorit is seemingly the only person on stage that is not afraid to call people out while simultaneously amusing Andy Cohen all within the course of a few sentences. In other news, Garcelle has not texted Kyle back, may never speak to anyone from this cast ever again and prepares to walk off in as dramatic a fashion as possible next week as the season concludes. Sutton looks ahead to a season without Garcelle and more cast shakeup rumors arise which need to be broken down separating lots of true facts from insane fan fiction. @behindvelvetrope @davidyontef Learn more about your ad choices. Did we really need to have 3 parts for the RHOBH Reunion? Kyle can't take accountability for anything. Dorit is angry. Luckily, Jennifer Tilly is a star! Over in the Summer House, Messy Jesse continues telling Lexi they are exclusive but telling the house he's being bullied into dating her. Carl and Lindsay duke it out and one prays for the other. And we've figured out the transition for next season! The reunion continues as Kyle and Dorit face off over Kyle's text to PK, putting more strain on their already fragile friendship. Boz stands firm on her claim that one of the women is not telling the truth. The fabulous Jennifer Tilly joins the action, but it isn't all diamonds and caviar when she's called out for her shady comments. Sutton is put in the hot seat, first by the arrival of Kathy Hilton and then for short-changing the size of Dorit's wallet. #RHOBH #DoritKemsley #KyleRichards Thank you for your support of this channel

Sutton and Kyle are the main focuses of Part 2 as Dorit laments how each offended her, or let her down, throughout the season, as Erika and/or Boz nod approvingly throughout. After a lengthy and exhaustive back and forth, Kyle finally apologizes for her combative stance about texting PK with a pledge of loyalty. Sutton gets chided by everyone for daring to flex her wealth in the "wallet" comment heard 'round the caviar tasting. Dorit unleashes a self-righteous tirade on Sutton, doling out smugly stated life lessons between low blows. Kathy and Jennifer Tilly join the group and continue to bring a much needed dose of comedy and positivity into an otherwise bleak environment. Andy gets honorable mention for stepping up to call out a few illogical statements, and for pointing out a few obvious arguments against Kyle getting upset with anyone mentioning MORGAN WADE a.k.a. those we now don't speak of.All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. This episode's guest is actor, writer, voiceover artist, and unapologetic improv nerd, Roxana Ortega.Roxana is one of those rare artists whose vulnerability, honesty, and humor hit you all at once – and leave a lasting impression. If her voice sounds familiar, it might be because she's voiced everything from the passionate Frida Casagrande on The Casagrandes to characters in Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, and Monsters at Work. She's narrated Pulitzer Prize-winning novels, voiced countless animated characters, and is a master of voice matching (yes, she's dubbed for Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek). In our conversation, Roxana takes us through the unexpected path that led her to acting – from growing up in an academic household where creativity wasn't considered a “real” career, to having a life-changing epiphany while teaching English in Spain. We talk about the internal battle between playing it safe and going after what you truly want—and what it really means to decide to be an artist. We go deep into the power of improv as both a performance tool and a life philosophy, how failure can be a gift, and why community-building and representation matter now more than ever. Roxana shares how she uses her voice – literally and figuratively – to make space for underrepresented stories, and how she's continued to evolve as a writer, performer, and director.Whether you're someone who thrives on stage or someone working up the courage to take the leap, Roxana's journey will remind you that embracing risk, staying curious, and being fiercely yourself is always worth it.Episode Chapters 00:00 – Welcome + Introduction02:00 – Names, Language, and Laughter04:00 – Academic Roots & Artistic Restlessness07:55 – The Epiphany in Spain13:49 – “I Decided to Be an Actor”16:00 – Improv, Joy, and Redefining Failure21:45 – Performing, Directing, and Creating Her Own Work32:00 – Representation, Identity, and Making Space40:00 – The Tapestry of Humanity49:30 – Amazing Race Nerd Out50:50 – Blissful Spinster & Making Art on Your Own Terms54:35 – Final Words of Wisdom55:14 – What's Next for Roxana58:00 – Wrap-Up & Thank YouRoxana's Bio:Roxana Ortega is an American actor, writer, and voiceover artist who is known for voicing the ever-emotional Frida Casagrande on Nickelodeon's Emmy award-winning and Imagen award-winning cartoon The Casagrandes, a spinoff of the acclaimed series The Loud House.On-camera, she recently starred opposite Danny Trejo, Reno Wilson, and a cast of legends including Garrett Morris, Barry Bostwick, and James Hong in the Universal feature Grand-Daddy Day Care. Other film credits include The Flight Before Christmas opposite Mayim Bialik, Miss Congeniality 2 opposite Sandra Bullock, and Larry Crowne opposite Tom Hanks. Her TV guest-star credits include New Girl, Shonda Rhimes' For The People, The League, Rules of Engagement, NCIS, and the Peabody award-winning satire American Vandal.Behind the mic, she has voiced countless characters in TV, films, trailers, commercials, and some of the biggest video game franchises around, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Final Fantasy, Halo, and Ghost Recon: Wildlands. A two-time AudioFile Earphones Award winner, she has narrated the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel A Visit from the Goon Squad, the National Book Award finalist Sabrina & Corina, and the New York Times's non-fiction best seller Random Family to name just a few. She graduated from U.C. Berkeley Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, then spent a year teaching English in Madrid, Spain. Dorit slams Sutton as someone who buys her friends. The public comes for Boz based on her reaction to Garcelle's exit. In other RHOBH news, Kyle cozies up to Morgan in France, Erika goes after Jennifer Tilly, Sutton longs for Kyle's friendship hardcore, Kathy remains Kathy and announces to Kyle, and the world, she may be a lesbian too, Erika faces setbacks as Tom Girardi is sentenced and so very much more as this season of RHOBH concludes, we look ahead to the three part reunion which begins next week and, most importantly, discuss what is expected to happen with the RHOBH cast when the show begins filing season 15 later this year. @behindvelvetrope @davidyontef Learn more about your ad choices. This extended finale required a two-part recap. We pick up on Sutton's trial at sea and shift into birthday dinner gear for Erika and Dorit. Sutton's delayed appearance, and hesitance to join, is a topic of conversation as Jennifer Tilly tries in vain to help her friend navigate a situation that neither feel like she can win. Garcelle finally approaches Kyle about not sticking up for Sutton, but her choice to teach Sutton a lesson by also not standing up for her on the boat leaves that critique falling flat. Meanwhile, Dorit and Erika continue to be the two off-base friends nodding and telling each other "exactly" as Boz works to connect with Sutton while appearing to lean further and further into clique territory. Kathy's all out of F's to give this episode, giving me the giggles and starting a new ice bag accessory trend. All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. Garcelle and Sutton's friendship starts to crack over Sutton's blind loyalty towards Kyle. Erika Jayne slams Sutton as fake asking who is the real Sutton - the kind, apologetic say all the right things at times socialite or the woman who kicks women, or at the very least kicks our fav diamond holders, when they are down. In other words, Erika would like to know if Sutton is a friend or a foe. Garcelle tells EJ to F Off. Boz calls Dorit out on her shiz while still seeing the world of RHOBH through rose colored glasses completely unaware of what is coming for her several seasons from now. Jennifer Tilly flaunts her wealth, inadvertently. Kathy Hilton offers words of wisdom. Dorit and Sutton apologize to each other only to start fighting again and so much more in a tumultuous week of ups and downs in the 90210. Meanwhile, Teresa Giudice reveals new info about the future of RHONJ and details a recent call / text with the one and only Danielle Staub. Porsha and Kenya reunite, Drew acts clueless as Porsha reads her for filth and Shamea shares the advice that Kandi gave her after securing her peach. The trip to Saint Lucia kicks off with a confrontational dinner, followed by a confrontational catamaran ride. The close friendship between Garcelle and Sutton is tested throughout as Garcelle bristles seeing Sutton defend Kyle and ultimately decides to let Sutton stand alone when fielding critiques.
