In Jesus' final -I AM- statement in John's Gospel, He reveals that He is the Vine that we all need to abide-remain in, since He alone gives life.

Jesus continues with the upper room discourse

As the disciples contemplate Jesus' departure, He knows the difficulty that they're facing and gives even more comforting promises. Those same comforting promises belong to all of God's redeemed children.

In what some have called -The central pulse of the entire Bible,- Jesus reveals that He is the way, the truth, and the life.

In this passage Jesus gives us the remedy we all need in order to overcome a troubled heart - belief in the Gospel of God.

Jesus continues His upper room discourse - teaching His disciples about the glory to come, His soon departure, and the privilege they have to love one another.

The Upper Room Discourse continues as Jesus singles out Judas and yet the other disciples can't yet understand and are in need of grace.

Anytime the Lord uses the word -unless- everyone should listen, including here as Jesus teaches us that, -unless one is born-again, he cannot see the kingdom of heaven.-

In similar fashion to Jesus' making new what was old at the wedding in Cana, He continues to reveal New Testament realities in His cleansing of the Temple.

Jesus' miracle of turning water into wine reveals more than just the physical act, it also reveals the glory of God as Jesus fulfills and completes certain aspects which the Old Testament only pointed to.
