Give thanks to the Lord. We've heard it said. We know it's a good idea. We've read it in the scriptures. We may not even object, but pressure mounts, business overwhelms, and discontent can rise up. But only so long as we don't remember who God is and only so long as we don't remember what he's done. This Sunday, we'll be reminded to give thanks to the Lord and why our Creator, our Redeemer, our protector, our God, whose steadfast love endures and who remembers us, is so worthy of our thanks

What if the key to gratitude is realizing that none of us is self-made?In this reflection on Psalm 136, John Ortberg explores the repeated refrain:"His love endures forever."Through a powerful exercise inspired by philosopher Rebecca Konyndyk DeYoung, John invites us to trace the hidden network of people and gifts behind the things we enjoy every day—and ultimately back to God Himself. This episode explores:- Psalm 136 and enduring love- Gratitude as a way of life- The myth of self-sufficiency- Celebrating dependence rather than independence- The web of generosity behind everyday gifts- Becoming a more grateful and generous personScriptures:- Psalm 136#Psalm136 #JohnOrtberg #Gratitude #Thankfulness #Prayer #SpiritualFormation #ChristianFaith #BibleStudy #Dependence #GodsLove
For 17 years, the Give Thanks for Scrum (GTFS) event in Boston has reflected the evolution of Scrum itself, from early education and experience reports to scaling, business agility, and now AI integration. In this episode, Dave West sits down with GTFS founder and Managing Director of Improving Agility, Daniel Mezick to explore how the event began, sparked by bringing Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber together during Thanksgiving week in Boston, and how its themes have evolved alongside the Agile movement. The 2025 event returned to an in-person format and centered on three critical themes:Delivering tangible resultsIncorporating AI into Scrum practiceThe evolving role of the Scrum MasterDaniel and Dave discuss why empiricism matters more than ever, how Scrum Masters must understand executive psychology, and what socio-technical design means in an AI-enabled world. They also explore whether large agile frameworks may give way to more focused, empirical approaches.Looking further into the future, the conversation turns to AI's expanding role, practical application over hype, and a blended in-person/online format to grow the global community. If you care about the future of Scrum, stakeholder delight, and navigating uncertainty with empiricism, this episode is for you.

Book of Psalms Psalm 107 is a beautiful testimony of God's enduring mercy and faithfulness. The psalm recounts how God delivers people from various troubles—those wandering in the wilderness, imprisoned in darkness, suffering because of their rebellion, and caught in life-threatening storms at sea. Again and again, when they cry out to the Lord in their distress, He rescues them and brings them into a place of peace and restoration. This psalm reminds us that no matter our circumstances, God's steadfast love never fails, and He is always ready to save those who call upon Him. Key Verse: “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1 Hashtags: #Psalm107 #GiveThanksToTheLord #GodsMercy #HeDelivers #UnfailingLove #FaithfulGod #PraiseTheLord #HopeInGod #GodRescues #ThanksgivingAndPraiseBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/sendme-radio--732966/support.“Thank you for listening to SendMe Radio — where we share the Gospel, inspire faith, and keep you connected with powerful stories and updates from around the world. Have you had news you just had to share? Maybe you called a friend or told the next person you saw! Often, news we share has to do with something we really wanted, something we were hoping for, or something really good that happened. But how often is our salvation from sin the focus of our exciting news? In Psalm 107, the psalmist calls the reader to give thanks to the Lord for His steadfast love.
Pastor Bryan shares a lesson from Psalm 107. Dr. Chapell investigates how the wondrous redemptive power and love of God gives much for which our hearts cry out to Him in thanksgiving. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1286/29?v=20251111

O Give Thanks - 04-22-26 - Pastor Michael Mullings
Peter Adam - Psalm 100 calls us to a life of joyful prayerfulness: 'I will give thanks… I will praise…' It is a psalm of thanksgiving that urges all the earth to make a joyful noise to the Lord, to serve him with gladness, and to come into his presence with singing. We thank and praise God because he made us, we are his people, and he is our good and faithful Shepherd. His steadfast love endures for ever, and his faithfulness continues to all generations. In Jesus Christ, all God's promises find their 'Yes'. As we pray, we respond with thanksgiving, praise, and confidence, knowing that one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
