THOMAS JEFFERSON, 1789: "It may be proved that no society can make a perpetual constitution, or even a perpetual law. The earth belongs always to the living generation. They may manage it then, and what proceeds from it, as they please, during their usufruct. They are masters too of their own persons, and consequently may govern them as they please."References:Link to SCOTUS draft of overturning Roe v Wade: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21835435-scotus-initial-draft?fbclid=IwAR27aZa0NTiNrR7Xwf7nHS-7M0sLLvZOiqRibs09wGTc4GG-sy0fiC6KQSIPrior episode clip of Justice Breyer calling out Justice Kavanaugh for not reading cases: https://youtu.be/qh6V6YArTewGreat video from SmokeyJoe about history of abortion rights & SCOTUS cases: https://youtu.be/njWb_6hz_bcFull interview w/ Frank Schaeffer on his propaganda films (evangelicals used to be pro-choice): https://youtu.be/25JyC5WhhvcDeeply Rooted History of expanding size of Supreme Court: https://harvardlpr.com/2019/05/06/the-supreme-court-has-been-expanded-many-times-before-here-are-four-ways-to-do-it-today/More history on SCOTUS size: https://www.britannica.com/story/why-are-there-nine-justices-on-the-us-supreme-court#:~:text=Basically%2C%20the%20U.S.%20Constitution%20grants,politically%20manipulated%20over%20the%20yearsHow-to for community networking: https://youtu.be/TZJuWScu3qQMichael Sandel's “The Moral Side of Murder”: https://youtu.be/kBdfcR-8hEY

Texas Senate Bill 8 was written without regard for how a pregnancy actually works - menstruating persons can't know they're pregnant until they are AT LEAST 4 weeks into a pregnancy, so now those persons have only 2 weeks to jump all the hurdles to get an abortion. Men who don't know how a menstruating human body works should NOT be writing laws that regulate those bodies. Pro-life Americans will "save the babies" only to kill women who need access to abortions for medical necessity.Join us as we discuss the details of the bill. Watch on YouTube to see the text of the law as we read through.
