(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus South Korea detains 6 Americans sending Bibles into North Korea South Korean authorities detained six Americans today after they attempted to send 1,600 plastic bottles containing miniature Bibles into North Korea by sea, reports International Christian Concern. In Isaiah 55:11, God says, “My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” According to the Gwanghwa Island police, the Americans are being investigated because they allegedly violated the law on disaster management. The Americans reportedly threw the bottles, which also included USB sticks, money, and rice, into the sea, hoping North Koreans would eventually find them washed up on their shore. The police did not disclose the contents of the USB sticks.   Christian missionaries and human rights groups have attempted to send plastic bottles by sea and balloons by air into North Korea. Sadly, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, who was just elected June 4, 2025, has pledged to halt such campaigns, arguing that such items could provoke North Korea.   According to Open Doors, North Korea is the most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill clears procedural vote The U.S. Senate advanced the latest version of President Trump's “One Big Beautiful Bill” in a procedural vote on June 28, clearing the way for floor debate on the substance of the sweeping megabill, reports The Epoch Times. This moves Republicans one step closer to delivering on key parts of President Donald Trump's second-term agenda. The bill advanced in a vote of 51 to 49, with enough Republican holdouts joining party leaders to avoid the need for Vice President J.D. Vance's tie-breaking vote and to push the measure forward despite lingering concerns about some of its provisions. Republican Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Josh Hawley of Missouri, two pivotal holdouts, said on June 28 that they would vote to advance the megabill, pointing to revisions unveiled by party leaders on June 27 that addressed some of their earlier objections. Hawley, who had previously objected to proposed Medicaid cuts, told reporters on June 28 that he would back not only the motion to proceed, but also final passage of the bill. He credited his decision to new language in the updated bill that delays implementation of changes to the federal cap on Medicaid provider taxes—a provision he said would ultimately bring more federal funding to Missouri's Medicaid program over the next four years. In an attempt to delay passage of the bill, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York and his fellow Democrats required that the clerks read the entire 940-page bill out loud, which took 15 hours 55 minutes through yesterday afternoon, reports CBS. The chamber began up to 20 hours of debate on Sunday afternoon which you can watch through a special link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. Senate Majority Leader John Thune expects a final vote on the package sometime today. Two GOP defections on Trump's Big Beautiful Bill There were two Republicans who voted against advancing Trump's Big Beautiful Bill, reports The Hill.com. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, who opposes a provision to raise the debt limit by $5 trillion, and Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina, who says the legislation would cost his state $38.9 billion in federal Medicaid funding. Three other Republicans, who had wavered, changed their minds.  Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin changed his “no” vote to “aye,” and holdout Senators Mike Lee of Utah, Rick Scott of Florida, and Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming also voted yes to advance the bill. The bill had suffered several significant setbacks in the days and hours before coming to the floor, at times appearing to be on shaky ground. Trump blasted Tillis on Truth Social, vowing to interview candidates to run against him in the upcoming senatorial primary. He said, “Looks like Senator Thom Tillis, as usual, wants to tell the Nation that he's giving them a 68% Tax Increase, as opposed to the Biggest Tax Cut in American History! “America wants Reduced Taxes, including NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, AND NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY, Interest Deductions on Cars, Border Security, a Strong Military, and a Bill which is GREAT for our Farmers, Manufacturers and Employment, in general. Thom Tillis is making a BIG MISTAKE for America, and the Wonderful People of North Carolina!” Just one day after drawing President Trump's ire for opposing the party's  sweeping domestic policy package, Senator Tillis surprisingly announced that he will not seek a third 6-year term in 2026, reports The Guardian. Trump's bill does defund Planned Parenthood President Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill still includes language to stop forced taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion for one year, reports LifeNews.com. The good news is that Planned Parenthood defunding is retained in the final version of the bill, but the bad news is that the 10 year funding ban has been scaled back to just one year. According to Planned Parenthood's latest annual fiscal report, the organization killed more than 400,000 babies through abortion in 2023 and 2024 and received nearly $800 million from taxpayers. Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser said, “The One Big Beautiful Bill Act that stops forced taxpayer funding of the abortion industry has been retained in the Senate bill, as we were confident it would, though for one year. This is a huge win.” Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” Call your two U.S. Senators ASAP on Monday at 202-224-3121 to urge them to retain the defunding of Planned Parenthood in the bill. Supreme Court curbs injunctions that blocked Trump's birthright citizenship plan Last Friday, the Supreme Court handed the Trump administration a major win by allowing it, for now, to take steps to implement its proposal to end automatic birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants, reports NBC News.  TRUMP: “That was meant for the babies of slaves. It wasn't meant for people trying to scam the system.” In a 6-3 vote, the court granted the request by the Trump administration to narrow the scope of nationwide injunctions imposed by judges so that they only apply to the states, groups and individuals that sued. TRUMP: “This was a big decision, an amazing decision!”  The White House said, “Since the moment President Trump took office, low-level activist judges have been exploiting their positions to kneecap the agenda on which he was overwhelmingly elected. Of the 40 nationwide injunctions filed against President Trump's executive actions in his second term, 35 of them came from just five far-left jurisdictions: California, Maryland, Massachusetts, Washington, and the District of Columbia. “Now, the Trump administration can promptly proceed with critical action to save the country — like ending birthright citizenship, ceasing sanctuary city funding, suspending refugee resettlement, freezing unnecessary funding, and stopping taxpayers from funding transgender surgeries.” Appearing on Fox News Channel, Jonathan Turley, a George Washington University Law School Professor, explained that this is a major victory for Trump. TURLEY: “This is a huge win for him. It does negate what has been a stumbling block. These judges have been throwing sand in the works in many of these policies, from immigration to birthright citizenship to [Department of Government Efficiency] cuts -- that will presumably now be tamped down. If these judges try to circumvent that, I think they'll find an even more expedited path to a Supreme Court that's going to continue to reverse some of these, lift some of these injunctions.” President Trump agreed wholeheartedly. TRUMP: “We've seen a handful of radical left judges effectively try to overrule the rightful powers of the president, to stop the American people from getting the policies that they voted for in record numbers.” Professor Turley was shocked by the forcefulness of Amy Coney Barrett's 96-page majority opinion, which took on leftist Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the author of the 20-page dissent.  Barrett wrote, “We will not dwell on Justice Jackson's argument, which is at odds with more than two centuries' worth of precedent, not to mention the Constitution itself. … Justice Jackson decries an imperial Executive while embracing an imperial Judiciary.” TURLEY: “The opinion was really radioactive in this takedown of Justice Jackson. I've been covering the Supreme Court for decades. It's rare to see that type of exchange. The important thing to remember is that Justice Barrett delivered what was essentially a pile driver. “But she didn't do it alone. I mean, her colleagues signed on to this. And I think it's very clear that the majority is getting tired of the histrionics and the hysteria that seems to be growing a bit on the left side of the court.” Turley cited two examples of the hyperbolic rhetoric of the three leftist judges on the Supreme Court. TURLEY: “It's the hyperbole that's coming out of the dissent that is so notable. Justice [Sonia] Sotomayor, in that Maryland case, said that giving parents the ability to opt out of a few [pro-homosexual/transgender] lessons was going to, ‘create chaos and probably end public education.' Justice [Ketanji Brown] Jackson saying this could very well essentially be the ‘death of democracy.' It's the type of hyperbole that most justices have avoided.” Even CNN's Michael Smerconish said that Trump is meeting and surpassing expectations. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Indonesian boy killed for his Christian faith An 8-year-old Indonesian boy in the Seberida district was killed for his faith in Jesus on May 19th, reports International Christian Concern.   Indonesia is an 87% Muslim country. The boy, publicly named as K.B., was beaten to death by five older Muslim boys.  Pastor Piet, of the GPDI Solagracia church where the family worshipped, remembers him as a child who was “diligent in Sunday school, often participating in Bible quizzes, and often winning.” His father said, “He was my first child. My second child is a girl. He was a good and strong child. He dreamed of becoming a soldier. I used to want to become a soldier, but I didn't. That's why I wanted him to become a soldier.” Psalm 116:15 says, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Polish voters elect conservative president After a national election over the weekend, Poland will join a growing group of Western nations moving to the right of center -- more nationalistic, more supportive of traditional values, and more opposed to the internationalism of the day. A former boxer and historian, Mr. Karol Nawrocki, won the presidential election by a close vote of 50.9% to 49.1%. Nawrocki had been endorsed by President Donald Trump. Nawrocki quoted 2 Chronicles 7:14, stating that God would “heal the land” if they would “turn away from wicked ways, reports the Associated Press.”  The conservative edge in Poland has stood firm against pro-abortion policies and pro-European Union trends over the last five years. That will appear to continue with the Nawrocki administration. Poland will join the United States, Argentina, Hungary, and Italy, as nations that have moved in a conservative direction over the last few election cycles. GOP Senate fiscal hawks balking at price tag of Trump's Bill President Donald Trump's Big Beautiful Federal Spending Bill is heading to the U.S. Senate. But several Republican senators are balking at the price tag, including Senators Rand Paul of Kentucky and Josh Hawley of Missouri, reports Liberty Counsel Action. GOP Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin is proposing that at least $838 billion be cut from federal spending to reduce government expenditures from 23.3% to 20.6% of the gross national income. This would reduce government to the relative size of the economy in 2019 before the COVID crisis.  In other words, Senator Johnson is simply requesting that government be reduced to pre-pandemic levels.   Presently, the Congressional Budget Office is estimating that President Trump's Big Beautifull Bill will add another $22 trillion to the $37 trillion of federal debt — putting the U.S. debt at 134% of the Gross Domestic Product by 2035. Japan and United States have weak bond auctions The leading Keynesian governments in the world are having a hard time getting people to fund their debt. Japan's bond auction yielded the weakest demand since the 2010 recession. The U.S. bond auction last week was extremely weak, resulting in 30-year bond interest to bump up to 5.15% — the highest rate since 2007. Ukrainian drone attack took out one-third Russian's long-range bombers Ukraine dispatched a drone attack deep into Russia, hitting some key military sites over the weekend. The bombings have reportedly taken out more than one-third of Russia's long range bombers, crippling Russia's nuclear capabilities. Homosexual pride marches have lost up to 50% of sponsorship The licentious elements of society are celebrating their pride month in June.  Slate.com reports a reduction in corporate sponsorships of the homosexual/transgender pride marches in the U.S.  Some have lost 40-50% of the corporate monies they have received in previous years. Plus, companies like Comcast, Anheuser-Busch, and Smirnoff have dropped Pride sponsorships altogether. The firm Booz Allen Hamilton pulled sponsorships, referring to the president's executive orders -- one of which prohibits the U.S. government from contracting with companies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. The World Pride event is taking place in Washington D.C. this year, the first time in the United States since the New York City event in 2019.  The larger sponsors of homosexual/transgender Pride events like World Pride include Hilton, Delta Airlines, Amazon, IKEA, Verizon, Corona, Fresca, and Starbucks. Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Kroger are also supporting homosexual events this year. 1 John 2:16 and 17 speaks of lust and pride. It says, “All that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” Focus on the Family targeted for affirming God's design for sexuality Focus on the Family is being targeted by the Southern Poverty Law Center for its opposition to homosexual behavior and gender transition for youths. The leftist group was particularly outraged with Jim Daly's more recent interviews of Rosaria Butterfield, and an interview of Walt Heyer and Kathy Grace Duncan. These were Christians who have repented of sins of homosexual behavior and transgenderism.   The Southern Poverty Law Center has been notorious for conflating Christian groups with Neo-Nazi and racist groups in the United States, and promoting persecution of Christians. Other ministries on their list include Family Research Council, Liberty Council, Coral Ridge Ministries, Alliance Defending Freedom, and Generations. Abortion Kill Pill creator died at 98 A French scientist, responsible for the deaths of 50 million babies, himself died last week at 98 years of age. Étienne-Émile Baulieu was instrumental in the development of the abortion kill pill, RU-486, in 1980.  About half of abortions in developed nations have been conducted by the abortion pill since the 2010s.  Today, chemical abortion accounts for 63% of all abortions in America. The BBC reports that French President Emmanuel Macron, called Dr Baulieu "a beacon of courage" and "a progressive mind who enabled women to win their freedom." 6 Worldview donors gave $730 And finally, toward this week's $30,875 goal to fund The Worldview newcast by this Friday, June 6th, six listeners stepped up to the plate.    The Royals have called up phenom slugger Jac Caglianone after he just destroyed double-A and triple-A pitching.  It won't be easy in the big leagues but this was an easy call to make.  Even if Jac Hammer struggles a little, he's got to be better than what this weak hitting team has been trotting out.    The Chiefs are one of 12 teams in the NFL that are silent on Pride Month and we respect that completely.  Three NFL teams even changed their logos to include rainbows.  Wow.  And it appears the Rangers are still the only team in baseball not having a Pride night.    Patrick Mahomes receives totally valid criticism for being a terrible deep ball passer this past week and I may have a solution for making it better.    Trans winners have a field day at state high school competitions all over the country.    An illegal alien muslim terrorist tries to burn Jews in Boulder, Colorado.  How about we hold him in El Salvador while he waits for a hearing?   Josh Hawley tells an incredible story of Joe Biden getting lost inside the White House, Trump offers up 22% cuts to the budget and the R-word is back from the dead as free speech is spreading everywhere.

Musk suggested the enormous spending bill undercut DOGE's efforts. He joked: "I think a bill can be big or it could be beautiful. But I don't know if it could be both." While speaking to the press on Wednesday, President Trump revealed he's “not happy about certain aspects” of the bill but likes other parts—specifically tax cuts. 3:45pm- During an interview with Charlie Kirk, Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) revealed that he would vote “no” on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act in its current form—and it does not have the support necessary to pass in the Senate. Republican Senators Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson, and Josh Hawley are also believed to be against the bill in its current form. 3:55pm- On Wednesday, President Donald Trump took questions from the press and addressed his administration's decision to completely strip federal funding from Harvard University. Trump declared “Harvard has been a disaster.” Trump has called on the Ivy League university to prioritize the education of American students, eliminate anti-Semitism on campus, and hire faculty representing a diverse ideology. According to a 2023 Harvard Crimson poll, only 2.5% of Harvard's faculty openly identified as “conservative—with 77% labeling themselves as “liberal” or “very liberal.”

While the agreement between the two nuclear powers appeared to be holding, both sides blamed the other for violating the deal. The latest conflict was ignited by a terrorist attack last month in the section of Kashmir controlled by India, but the two countries have been fighting over the disputed region for decades, since the end of British rule and the 1947 partition.
