KYRSTEN SINEMA SHOULD RESIGN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: I do not know how or why Senator Sinema of Arizona can still identify as a Democrat after appearing with Mitch McConnell at an event that was for all intents and purposes a Republican Campaign Rally for the mid-terms. Sinema praised McConnell for his "respect for the Senate" even though it was McConnell who made up a rule that denied Merrick Garland even a hearing for the Supreme Court and stole the seat for the Republicans. She blamed everybody BUT the Republicans for politics becoming "radicalized, spiraling steadily downward into bitter and tribal extremism" and never mentioned January 6th. She forecast a Democratic defeat in November. (9:53) I explain my personal relationship with Kyrsten Sinema, first as a friend, then in a brief dating relationship, then again as a friend, spanning nearly eight years, and her deterioration from as liberal and progressive a person as I've ever met to a clown who has fallen for Mitch McConnell's act. She should resign from the Senate - Arizona's governor would be required by law to name a Democratic replacement - and take her deliberate unwillingness to recognize the threat to democracy posed by the Republicans, and utilize it either to challenge Tulsi Gabbard for the role OF Tulsi Gabbard, or go host "Meet The Press." B-Block (19:00) EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY: Edda in The Bahamas (20:13) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: The Meadows texts: the "Crown Jewels" of the 1/6 Investigation; Liz Truss has them invoking the 119 days of George Canning; Ken Paxton flees. (22:45) IN SPORTS: The Judge Watch Never Stops; Brett Favre suspended by SiriusXM. (24:35) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Our boy Chuck Todd, the American Senator who doesn't know how to pronounce "9/11," and the Elitist cheering for the defeat of the Elitists without realizing he IS an Elitist, vie for the honors. C-Block (31:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: It actually happened: the president of NBC summoned us to his 52nd Floor office to warn us that MSNBC was about to be taken off the air by order of the Chairman of G.E. because HIS MOMMY TOLD HIM TO.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

DOJ'S LATE NIGHT FILING AGAINST TRUMP A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT. I wonder if Trump has ever heard of Victor Marchetti? He will now. The Government's 1975 court victory over him defined who has to prove a Classified Document is STILL a Classified Document - and it ain't the government. The Justice Department with a killer filing in its appeal of the Special Master ruling (3:55) Even as the Special Master comes down on Trump like a ton of bricks. His insistence those are HIS documents because he declassified some of them but he can't tell you which ones or when, is attacked by Special Master Dearie (4:10) Who says "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Didn't somebody we all know use that same phrase yesterday? YES I DID. (6:03) If you think Trump's lawyers are nitwits, wait'll you hear Alina Habba not understand why it's called an OCTOBER Surprise (6:45) Trump also makes a dumb analogy about the search of his bedroom (7:40) While New York's Attorney General may be ready to move (8:00) And three of the asylum seekers DeSantis human-trafficked have filed a class action suit against him and he's reduced to using the phrase "Onesie-Twosies" (10:34) And Trump's desperate neediness leads to one of the greatest Owns in Twitter history: Greg Proops flattens Maggie Haberman for all time. B-Block (14:35) EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY: Hooch (16:00) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: Ron Johnson "condones" white supremacy; Bret "Mr. Journalist" Baier tried to get the Fox Arizona call retracted; Tucker Carlson may get more people hurt. (18:50) IN SPORTS: 60 homers for Judge, the passing of Maury Wills, three NHL vets retire (21:30) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The 1776 Restoration Movement scumbags compete with Ronna McDaniel and a ton of Fentanyl for Halloween, and the Australian TV hosts covering the Queen's funeral, for the honors. C-Block (26:45) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: 25 years since the head of the NBC part of MSNBC told me to ignore the head of the MS part of MSNBC. Andy Lack said they "were only supposed to give us money and computer terminals! Don't tell ME that we have to 'synergize' cable television and the internet - whatever the hell the internet is!"See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

ARREST TRUMP WHILE WE STILL CAN A BLOCK (1:48) SPECIAL COMMENT: After the Rubber Stamp Judge he appointed has fabricated law to protect him from justice, Trump has again demanded that "they" overthrow the duly-elected government of the United States - 20 MONTHS TO THE DAY SINCE JANUARY 6TH (3:06) Arrest him NOW while we still can and before he sells the secrets he stole (4:39) Since we know he does not care if the next coup is violent or not, we must stop him NOW (6:05) "Judge" Cannon listened to Trump's "swirling allegation of bias" and used them as an excuse to issue a lawless ruling (8:55) We must act as if we had been invaded by a foreign nation with allies inside this country (9:05) There are six steps that can be taken: including impeaching Cannon, declaring the Federalist Society factory of treason as what it is: a Terrorist organization, search for more stolen documents at Bedminster and Trump Tower, double the number of 1/6 Committee hearings, have President Biden again give his Philadelphia speech (only this time with the gloves off) and ARREST. TRUMP. NOW. WHILE. WE. STILL. CAN. B BLOCK (19:36) EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY: Rufio (21:02) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: Trump's rally proves everything Biden said was true, and then some, plus the British have made a lookalike for Evil Tweety Bird their new Prime Minister (24:13) IN SPORTS: Nadal loses, Seal is there (under the name Seal Seal), Judge is poised to break Maris's record, the Oakland couple is sought, and Final Jeopardy is a sports question (28:45) WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Brianna Kellar, Jonathan Truly and Kristina "F it, I'll kill us all" Karamo vie for the honors. C BLOCK (33:30) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: First the Republicans ran a 9/11 Snuff Film unannounced - on MSNBC - and I apologized to our viewers. Then the Republicans told Tom Brokaw: if you don't get Olbermann fired, McCain won't show up to the Presidential Debate YOU are moderating. It all goes down hill from there, and the end result was: I got $22,000,000. Thanks Tom! Oh and ARREST. TRUMP. NOW. WHILE. WE. STILL. CAN.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

GRAHAM: "I REJECT VIOLENCE, BUT..." A BLOCK (1:49) SPECIAL COMMENT: Lindsey Graham is a Stochastic Terrorist, now trying to escape accountability. After insisting Sunday "there will be riots in the streets" when Trump is prosecuted, he now says "I reject violence. I'm not calling for violence. But..." The same man who said the night of January 6th "count me out, enough is enough" is now back in, laying the groundwork for another January 6th (5:49) Or maybe another Oklahoma City bombing. Trump has now posted an article comparing the FBI at Ruby Ridge to the Gestapo (7:00) And made another demand that he be made president immediately, directed to idiots Graham is encouraging to riot in the streets. (9:00) But, Special Master suit may backfire on Trump as DOJ plans 40-page refutation of Trump's lies in his filing (10:40) And Trump plant Tony Ornato has quit the Secret Service (12:00) Plus a microscopic answer to the question: Why did Trump steal all this? The report that Trump boasted of knowing details of the French President's sex life. B BLOCK (16:16) EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY: Givenchy (17:49) POSTSCRIPTS TO THE NEWS: Biden's next "Freedom Speech," his approval ratings rise again, Chuck Todd may be fired from NBC's Meet The Press, and they recall Dinesh D'Souza's "book." (20:55) IN SPORTS: Serena starts her farewell well, and Aaron Rodgers admits he deliberately misled everyone about his 'vaccination.' And I'm proud of Aaron and Joe Rogan for confessing they're afraid of vaccine needles (27:46) WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Mike Lindell, Nikki Haley, and I vie for the honors. C BLOCK (32:45) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: A quarter century ago, the news broke from Paris that Diana, Princess of Wales, was dead. Beyond the tragedy, there is another story. That was the day American TV News eliminated any remaining dignity or sense of responsibility from its equations.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

DID TRUMP STEAL THE MUELLER INVESTIGATION DOCUMENTS TOO? A BLOCK (0:00) We know the FBI suspects Trump purloined documents relating to nuclear weapons (0:35) but now it looks like he may have also taken stuff from boxes figuratively marked "MUELLER" (0:49) because his lackey Kash Patel has left a trail of interviews in which he has promised to go into the National Archives, take all the "Russia-Gate" and impeachment documents, and publicly release them (1:55) Judge Reinhart promises partial release of the search warrant affidavit (2:55) and Ryan Goodman and Laura Rozen of "Just Security" saw the connection (3:07) the infamous John Solomon is named one of Trump's reps to the Archives (3:37) and Patel is named the other one (6:24) Patel began telling interviewers, on the record, of his plan in MAY (7:40) ABC News made the linkage too (8:58) If Trump and/or the documents at Mar-A-Lago are at all connected to the Patel scheme, it may trigger espionage charges against Trump (9:55) Goodman notes one document released Thursday reveals DOJ got the search warrant on the premise that the Mar-A-Lago stash included EVIDENCE OF A CRIME (10:57) meanwhile Trump world is looking for the rat who talked to DOJ and even suspecting family members, when DOJ could easily have figured all this because Kash Patel has been opening his big kazoo for four months! B BLOCK (16:00) Every Dog Has Its Day (17:44) Postscripts To The News: the Congressman who insists the FBI director appointed by Trump was actually appointed by Biden (18:27) The candidate who looks like all five members of Kids In The Hall playing the same character has already lied about Liz Cheney after defeating her (20:23) and Mike Lindell means it this time: THIS election conference will prove to everybody who's ever lived that there's fraud! (21:14) Sports: DeShaun Watson suspended, fined $5,000,000, apologizes - and then insists he's innocent and the settlement means nothing (22:30) We've put out a Silver Alert for Tom Brady (23:36) An Alabama County Republican group apologizes for using a logo with hooded Klansmen in it - they vie with the Prime Minister of Norway and a Minnesota violence-threatening GOP candidate for Worst Person honors. C BLOCK (28:48) Things I Promised Not To Tell: CNN cancels the only TV show that regularly criticized Fox News, and fires host Brian Stelter (30:23) The Daily Beast quotes a source who insists new CNN President Chris Licht "didn't want to do this" (33:11) I call BS because at MSNBC, Licht was Joe Scarborough's Henchman and after Scarborough attacked me on twitter in a violation of MSNBC policy that was supposed to resort in automatic suspension, Licht warned management that if they suspended Scarborough, Scarborough would go to right wing media and say he was being persecuted by me because he was a conservative. (37:48) In May 2010 Licht also helped Scarborough get Markos Moulitsas of Daily Kos suspended from MY show and ultimately banned from MSNBC because Scarborough didn't like something Moulitsas had tweeted (40:29) Licht demanding that Maddow, Matthews and I stop criticizing "Joe's friends" was a staple at MSNBC (41:25) and Licht was hired to run CNN to enable the new Trump-Friendly owners to move out the liberals like Stelter. (42:42) Less Thurber than usual for a weekend edition, but his impeccable fable "The Peacelike Mongoose" and the story behind it involving my father, and James Thurber's daughter!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Brian Stelter, the top media reporter at CNN, is leaving the network after executives decided to cancel his Sunday show, “Reliable Sources,” in one of the first big programming moves under new leadership at the company. The final edition of the show will be on Sunday, a spokesman for CNN said on Thursday. The cancellation of “Reliable Sources” — a show that has aired for about three decades — is a striking change by Chris Licht, the new chairman of CNN, who took over this spring after the sudden resignation of Jeff Zucker. Mr. Zucker left after failing to disclose a romantic relationship with another top CNN executive. Under Mr. Licht, CNN has eschewed the “breaking news” banners that once heralded stories large and small, and political news shows have tried to book more conservative voices. He has given few other public clues about any possible broader changes at the cable network. The decision to cancel the show is part of CNN's “refreshed Sunday lineup,” the company spokesman said on Thursday. Norm opens the first hour imploring citizens to vote for and to demand a return to common sense, citing the obvious upside-down character of the United States' governing structures across the country.  He then asks listeners to call in and help him understand what the Connecticut Post reported on with respect to the New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department's announcement of an internal investigation pursuant to alleged "offensive" posts to social media by one of the department's firefighters.  But what were the posts? What was the content of the speech? And how condescending can the Connecticut Post be? Publish the content of the posts! Allow the readers to determine for themselves whether the speech in question was indeed offensive, or whether the story itself is yet another mere reflection of woke culture run amok.  Norm then whines about CNN and how unlikely it is to course correct in any meaningful way after its termination of Chris Cuomo and the rumored looming exit of Mr. Potato aka Brian Stelter, and of course after the deafeningly quiet exit of former President of CNN, Jeff Zucker. Will the new overlord make good on his promise to eliminate the comingling of news reporting and ideological biases? Best wishes, Chris Licht. We'll wait for CNN to show and prove.  A caller from earlier this week posed a question about the role of the Federal Reserve and posited that the overwhelming majority of Americans have no idea what it is, what it does, not to mention that it is not a formal body of our federal government. So, Norm takes an opportunity to shed light on the federal reserve, its role in regulating the American economy, the partisan divide on economic policy in America today, and the staying power of those appointed to the Board of the Federal Reserve. Is it time for an overhaul? Norm then takes a moment to applaud Law and Legitimacy for breaking a story that Forbes finally picked up regarding the Securities and Exchange Commission and its apparently corrupt behavior with respect to the regulation of digital assets and cryptocurrency.  Specifically, Law and Legitimacy hosted Jimmy Vallee—Managing Partner of Valhil Capital and proponent of Ripple and XRP—to discuss the disparate treatment between Etherium and Ripple by the SEC to the latter's extreme detriment. How detrimental? Bigger than Enron in terms of the financial loss to Ripple investors.  Like, share, and subscribe. Norm is live every weekday from 12pm ET to 2pm ET on WICC 600AM/107.3FM. Good Friday morning, this is Garrison Hardie with your CrossPolitic Daily News Brief for Friday, April 22nd, 2022. Let’s kick things off with a question… are you registered for the CrossPoltiic Liberty Tour’s final stop? I know, say it isn’t so! I know folks, I know, but we gotta get ready for our conference in Knoxville. But, if you want to see us in Phoenix Arizona, on May 19th, you can register at crosspolitic.com/libertytour. Tickets will go fast, especially because I spent all day yesterday reaching out to club members in Arizona. We’ll be joined by Jeff Durbin, and Delano Squires, as we discuss The Five Stones of True Freedom. Doesn’t that just scream MERICAN? Anyways, in other news, CNN+ is off to a great start. Let’s see how it’s going. Car Jumps Off Cliff Meme-Play Video 0:00-0:06 Oh yikes… CNN+ is actually shutting down after less than a month after it’s launch. https://nypost.com/2022/04/21/cnn-is-shutting-down-less-than-a-month-after-ill-fated-launch/ According to the New York Post, CNN boss Chris Licht, who officially starts his new job on May 1, told staffers at a midday meeting Thursday that “this was an incredibly successful launch” but that it wasn’t compatible with Warner Bros Discovery’s new plans, according to a report by CNN. “It’s not your fault that you had the rug pulled out from underneath you,” Licht said, the network reported. According to CNN, Andrew Morse, the executive vice president in charge of CNN+ and all of CNN’s digital businesses, will depart the company. The report said that during the meeting, CEO and president of Warner Bros. Discovery global streaming and interactive entertainment, JB Perrette expressed frustration with CNN’s “prior leadership,” which was led by Jeff Zucker until February, and WarnerMedia, which was led by Jason Kilar until early April. I guess Jeff Zucker had other things on his mind at the time. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/02/business/media/jeff-zucker-cnn.html - Screen Capture title of article. Licht circulated a memo obtained by The Post ahead of a midday meeting thanking them for “flawlessly launching CNN+ in a very short period of time.” He added that as part of the transition, all CNN+ employees will continue to be paid and receive benefits for the next 90 days and are encouraged to explore job openings at CNN, CNN Digital, and elsewhere in the Warner Bros. Discovery family. At the end of that period, departing CNN+ employees will receive a minimum of six-months severance, depending on length of service at CNN. The few who had subscribed to CNN+ will receive prorated refunds of the $5.99 a month subscription fee, the company said. Prior to Thursday’s decision, the future of CNN+ was in doubt as new corporate parent Warner Bros. Discovery was looking to cut costs and reorganize the company. Warner Bros. Discovery, which formed last week out of the merger between Discovery and WarnerMedia, is in the process of shoring up at least $3 billion in cost savings in 2023. Under previous ownership, CNN+ execs were hoping to attract 2 million subscribers in the first year and 15 million to 18 million over four years, Axios said. Roughly $300 million has been spent and hundreds of jobs have been created to support the streaming service to date. Dime Payments Dime Payments is a Christian owned processing payment business. Some say the feds should have a relatively large role while others say it should be relatively small. But while most people believe there should be at least some federal oversight, some believe there should be none at all. Rep. Thomas Massie is one of those who believes there should be no federal involvement in education, and he is actively working to make that a reality. In February 2021, he introduced H.R. 899, a bill that perfectly encapsulates his views on this issue. It consists of one sentence: This bill terminates the Department of Education on December 31, 2022. Massie is not alone. The bill had eight cosponsors when it was introduced and has been gaining support ever since. On Monday, Massie announced that Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) decided to cosponsor the bill, bringing the total number of cosponsors to 18. Massie is echoing sentiments expressed by President Ronald Reagan in 1981, who advocated dismantling the Department of Education even though it had just begun operating in 1980. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/florida-house-passes-bill-stripping-disney-of-self-governing-status Florida House passes bill stripping Disney of self governing status The Florida House of Representatives passed a bill on Thursday that would dissolve Walt Disney World’s special governing power in the state. The move could have huge tax implications for Disney, whose series of theme parks have transformed Orlando into one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations, and serves to further sour the relationship between the Republican-led government and a major political player in the state. Democratic lawmakers could be heard shouting in the background as they attempted to protest the bill as it was passed. https://twitter.com/i/status/1517189688523689985 - Play Video Leftists once again proving that they are the party of tolerance and acceptance. The bill will now head to the desk of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis who has been involved in a war of words with the company after it publicly opposed a bill he signed which prohibits classroom instruction on "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" with children in third grade or younger "or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards." The passage in the Florida House comes the day after the Florida Senate passed the measure by a vote of 23-16 to dissolve Disney's special status that it was granted by the state over 50 years ago. The special status, known as The Reedy Creek Improvement Act, was signed into law in May 1967 by Gov. Claude Kirk in response to lobbying efforts by Disney. The entertainment giant proposed building a recreation-oriented development on 25,000 acres of property in a remote area of Central Florida's Orange and Osceola counties, which consisted of 38.5 square miles of largely uninhabited pasture and swampland. Orange and Osceola County did not have the services or resources needed to bring the project to life, so the state legislature worked with Disney to establish the Reedy Creek Improvement District, a special taxing district that allows the company to act with the same authority and responsibility as a county government. This year our national conference is in Knoxville, TN October 6th-8th. The theme of this year’s conference is Lies, Propaganda, Storytelling and the Serrated Edge. Satan is the father of lies, and the mother of those lies is a government who has rejected God. We have especially been lied to these last two years, and the COVIDpanic has been one of the central mechanisms that our government has used to lie to us and to grab more power. Because Christians have not been reading their bibles, we are susceptible to lies and weak in our ability to fight these lies. God has given us His word to fight Satan and his lies, and we need to recover all of God’s word, its serrated edge and all. Mark your calendars for October 6th-8th, as we fight, laugh and feast with fellowship, beer and Psalms, our amazing lineup of speakers, hanging with our awesome vendors, meeting new friends, and more. Well according to the Epoch Times, More than 769 athletes have collapsed on the field during a game from March 2021 to March 2022. The shocking statistic was revealed by One America News Network (OAN), which also found the average age of the athletes who suffered cardiac arrest is just 23 years old.[1] The unprecedented surge in cardiac arrest and other heart issues among elite athletes coincides with the rollout of COVID-19 jabs. In the article, which is linked in the show notes, there is a 42-minute video of an interview with English Football legend and broadcaster, Matt Le Tissier, who was of course, labeled an “anti-vaxxer” for even daring to question the narrative. Here’s the first minute or so of that video. https://rumble.com/vtsp9u-matt-le-tissier-on-the-record-oracle-films.html - Play 0:00-1:05. The Miami Open made headlines in early April 2022 after 15 players — all of whom had reportedly received COVID-19 injections[2] — dropped out. Among them were favorites Paula Badosa and Jannik Sinner. Badosa left the court in tears after becoming unwell, and Sinner’s opponent said he saw him “bend over” on the court, noting “it was very strange.”[3] Even the fans were confused, with one stating, “What is going on?”[4] As Pearson Sharp of OAN explained, “These are just two of more than 769 athletes who have collapsed during a game, on the field, over the last year.” He continued:[5] “How many 23-year-old athletes were collapsing and suffering heart attacks before this year? Do you know any 23-year-old people who had heart attacks before now? And these are just the ones we know about. How many have gone unreported? Nearly 800 athletes — young, fit people in the prime of life — falling down on the field. In fact, 500% more soccer players in the EU are dropping dead from heart attacks than just one year ago. Coincidence? When the Pfizer vaccine is known to cause heart inflammation? No. In fact, many doctors treating these players list their injuries and deaths as being directly caused by the vaccine … This is not a coincidence.” As of April 1, 2022, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which is where adverse events caused by COVID-19 jabs in the U.S. are supposed to be collected, lists 26,693 deaths along with 147,677 hospitalizations in association with the COVID-19 shot.[6] There are also 13,677 heart attacks and 38,024 cases of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the tissue sac surrounding the heart). Myocarditis and pericarditis cause symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath and a fluttering or pounding heart. Cases have occurred most often after mRNA COVID-19 injections (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), particularly in male adolescents and young adults, according to the CDC. Further, myocarditis occurs more often after the second injection, usually within a week.[7] Past investigations have shown only between 1%[8] and 10%[9] of adverse reactions are ever reported to VAERS, which is a passive, voluntary reporting system, so the actual number could be much higher. Kyle Warner is one athlete who filed a VAERS report about his own health injuries following the COVID-19 jab. It took him 45 minutes to complete — a length of time that many doctors can’t or won’t devote when it comes to reporting adverse vaccine reactions seen among their patients. Warner, who is 29 years old, was at the peak of his career as a professional mountain bike racer when, in June 2021, he got his second dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 shot. He suffered a reaction so severe that, months later, he was still spending days in bed, easily overwhelmed by too much mental or physical exertion. When asked about it, he said, “I believe where there is risk, there needs to be choice,” Instead, “People are being coerced into making a decision based on lack of information versus being convinced of a decision based on total information transparency.”[11] Despite the rising number of adverse effects being reported in VAERS, top government officials, such as NIAID director Dr. Anthony Fauci and CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, have attempted to discredit it. There are Unprecedented Cases of Athletes Collapsing and Dying. By December 2021, 300 reports of athletes collapsing, and some dying, had already been collected,[18] including high-profile European Soccer star Adama Traore, who clutched his chest and collapsed on the field. An updated report by Good Sciencing, a team of investigators, news editors, journalists and “truth seekers,” has detailed 890 cardiac arrests and other serious issues among athletes, including 579 deaths, following COVID-19 shots. With cases like this becoming impossible to ignore, the “Sunday Footy Show” panel speculated that the health issues could be linked to COVID-19 shots, and one of the hosts acknowledged that multiple players have suffered from heart issues and Bell’s palsy following COVID-19 booster shots. “Wards filled with people suffering the same issues,” he said. Early bird tickets are on sale until June 1st. https://www.theepochtimes.com/a-staggering-number-of-athletes-collapsed-this-past-year_4413773.html?utm_source=partner&utm_campaign=BonginoReport Now it’s on to sports… where… A Staggering Number of Athletes Collapsed This Past Year I wonder what could have caused that? Cuomo brothers are back, Smollett released from Jail Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo continued his attempt at a comeback tour Thursday, laying out his own state budget priorities even though he's out of office and denouncing what he continues to call a cancel culture that led him to resign in August amid sexual harassment allegations. Cuomo gave an address and answered questions from the crowd for an hour at the Bronx church run by former Sen. Ruben Diaz Sr., a conservative Democrat whom the former governor often sparred with over same-sex marriage and abortion rights. But with Cuomo looking for opportunities to tout his accomplishments and try to remake his scandal-scarred image, he accepted Diaz's invite last week, often joking during the appearance about their differences but also their friendship. And Cuomo continued to stoke speculation about a potential comeback, telling reporters who swarmed him after the speech that he hasn't ruled out a return to office — or a potential run for governor. “I have a lot of options open, and I'm considering them,” Cuomo told reporters after the event. Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo is demanding $125 million from CNN following his termination from the cable news channel last year. In a demand for arbitration filed with the dispute resolution giant JAMS, Cuomo alleges that his firing was not justified and that former CNN president Jeff Zucker failed to abide by the terms of Cuomo's contract “by failing to instruct CNN employees not to disparage Cuomo.” In fact, the complaint alleges that there was a “calculated campaign to smear Cuomo and destroy his reputation” by some CNN staff. The $125 million claim, filed by Cuomo's attorneys at Freedman + Taitelman and Clayman Rosenberg, includes $15 million that he says is owed for the remainder of his contract, but also “future wages lost as a result of CNN's efforts to destroy his reputation in violation of the Agreement.” --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/otcpod1/support
