Why is it not enough to just end the Governor's peacetime emergency?   In today's video update, Representative Munson explains Chapter 12 of Minnesota statute that currently allows for the Governor to declare a peacetime emergency. This statute needs to be changed so that this authoritarian chapter in Minnesota history is never able to happen again.

Representative Jeremy Munson has introduced a piece of legislation that would allocate our state's electoral votes by congressional district. This would mean that each of our state's eight congressional districts would allocate one electoral vote for the candidate that won the popular vote in their district. The remaining two votes would go to our state's popular vote winner.   This would ensure that Minnesota would matter in every presidential election.

The legislature is in crunch time with a deadline set for May 17 at midnight. Conference committees have been meeting daily in order to finish their work on time. Representative Miller gives an update from his public safety conference committee in this update.

He walked through the different spokes of election fraud that we saw taking place here in Minnesota during the 2020 election. From the information featured in the Project Veritas video, to democrats suing democrats to change election law, the election in Minnesota was carried out in an illegal manner. 

Yesterday Representative Cal Bahr introduced an amendment to prevent finance or revenue bills from being combined into only a few giant omnibus bills. As Rep. Bahr states, this would bring much needed transparency to the legislature and result in smaller budget bills being presented. All 10 democrats in the Rules Committee voted against this amendment for transparency.

All Republicans and 5 DFL members voted to end it; however, it failed on a vote of 64-67.
