In this powerful message about the Kingdom of God, we explore God's original purpose for creation and humanity's role within it. The sermon reveals that God's intent was to extend His heavenly rulership to earth through humanity, establishing what could be called a "colony of heaven" on earth. This wasn't about creating a religion, but rather establishing a government with humanity as authorized rulers under God's sovereign kingship. While humanity's fall disrupted this plan, God never revoked His original purpose. Instead, He sent Jesus – the only person ever born a king – to restore humanity's relationship with God and reestablish proper kingdom order. Through Christ's obedience, we can now be restored to our intended role as kingdom citizens and ambassadors. The message concludes with the powerful reminder that as kingdom citizens, we are called to be "kingdom builders" with a ministry of reconciliation. Like ambassadors, our role isn't to invite people into a religion, but into a kingdom relationship with a gracious King who, like the father of the prodigal son, eagerly welcomes His children home.

This week we will take a look at the very first piece of armor that God, through the pen of Paul, asked us to put on. It is important for us to know that God has provided us with the full panoply of armor, we need to win and stay victorious in this battle, between light and darkness, good and evil. We will come to understand how important it is to live in truth. But not only that, we will understand what it means to actually stand with this piece of armor on. It is unfortunate that many Christians do not know what it means to stand firm with the different pieces of of armor. God has provided his army with. we will explore this aspect of truth that Paul is delivering us Ephesians chapter 6 and become fully equipped for battle.
We are looking at a very special piece of armor that is supplied to us by our God. That piece of equipment is called the shield of faith. Without it, we have little protection. However, with it, we have the ability to continue to advance upon the enemies territory with great confidence and faith. what a lot of Christians may not realize is that God does not indeed call us to go into enemy territory. We do this so that we might advance the kingdom of God. This is not about simply gaining territory, but God desires is for us to set the cactus free whom the devil has enslaved and sin and deception. In order to do this, we must have a particular attitude that is necessary. In attitude that says I will never give up. But we truly about that kind of life, are we the kind of people who never quit on God or his kingdom?
In this series, we will explore the reality of spiritual warfare that every Christian must face. We will also come to understand that God has not left us powerless in this fight. We have incredible benefits that have been afforded us as a result of Jesus sacrifice at the cross. The problem is many of us as Christians either don't know or don't understand what they are and how they work in our lives.
