First he's here, then he's gone and now… he's back? Demond Williams signed a revenue sharing deal with UW on January 2nd, before deciding he could do better at LSU and announcing he was entering the transfer portal, blindsiding coaches, teammates and his agent. Unfortunately for Demond, the contract he signed was legally binding and now, he's “decided” to come back to UW. Can he earn the trust of his teammates, coaches and the fans back or is the damage done? :30- Are the Seahawks peaking at the right time? We talked to Matt Hasselbeck about it on Wednesday and his thoughts on how hot the Hawks are right now sparked a conversation. :45- We do it every Friday, it's our No Cliché Keys to Victory! Yes, the Seahawks are on bye, so the keys are a little different this week. What will it take for the Hawks to advance to next week? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

No question about it; the news of UW quarterback Demond Williams Jr to the transfer portal hit the college football world like a ton of bricks. It was unexpected and it will have ripple effects not just for Washington, but the college football world moving forward. We haven't seen it often, but it's going to happen more and more That sounds a bit hyperbolic, but that's how the Dawgman guys - Chris Fetters and Scott Eklund - see it. After getting their initial thoughts out on the news, how unexpected it was and the reaction not just from them but from sources in and around the UW program, they talk about next steps and what this means not just for Williams, but for UW Head Coach Jedd Fisch. Whether you thought the careers of Williams and Fisch were tied together for the 2026 season, you were likely wrong. With Black Monday creating a lot of NFL Head Coaching opportunities, does that mean Fisch will now be looking to leave UW too? Or does it mean Fisch now has the ability to attract another high-level quarterback, someone with the same potential as Williams? And with ESPN's Pete Thamel reporting UW will use every available remedy to make sure Williams abides by the contract he just signed days ago, how can Demond ever come back to Montlake now? It sounds like the Big Ten Conference is getting involved too. On the outside, it feels like bridges are being burned by the hour. And lastly, what does this mean for UW now that they have a quarterback opening on their roster? Will the QB transfer dominoes reset? With this news, will other quarterbacks start looking seriously at Washington as a destination? And who could those quarterbacks be? Take everything said on the podcast with a grain of salt; this story is still very warm and continues to develop sidebars. It could very well be that some of the information talked about has already changed in a matter of hours. It's just beginning, so it's hard not to jump to some assumptions or conclusions based on the cursory evidence out there in the public eye. Headlines and 12th Man news with GREGG BELL (Tacoma News Tribune) Gregg can do it all, so we start off the conversation by asking him for his thoughts on the Demond Williams/college football chaos. What has Klint Kubiak's week been like and could the interview process affect playoff preparations? :30- SOFTY joins the show to give us his thoughts and insight on the Demond Williams situation. Rumors are that Demond Williams blindsided everyone at UW and made the decision to leave UW with his family, leaving everyone else in shock. What effects will this have on Washington outside of just losing Demond? The repercussions could be huge. For those wondering, no, there was zero chance Demond didn't know what was going on at UW at the time he made his announcement and that alone has a lot of people up in arms. :45- It's time to get Reckless at Breakfast and we are sticking with college football. Chuck has discussed the state of college football in this segment a lot over the years, from tournaments, to conference realignment, to coaches and players jumping ship. He's also talked about college football one day becoming professional and we are closer to that than ever before. Will Chuck's next prophecy ring true- is the NFL waiting to swoop in and takeover college football? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Television legend Demond Wilson takes listeners on an unforgettable journey through his iconic role as Lamont Sanford opposite Red Foxx in the groundbreaking sitcom Sanford and Son. The decorated Vietnam veteran opens up about his military service, the challenges of transitioning back to civilian life, and his eventual departure from Hollywood and organized religion. Now 73 and working on a new miniseries project, Wilson reflects on his journey from theater to becoming one of television's most beloved characters while maintaining residuals that continue to support him decades later.

The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund - broke down their thoughts from a spirited Day 8 of fall camp, held under beautiful Friday Seattle skies completely on the east field next to Husky Stadium. The guys started today's podcast with a bit of a look forward to Saturday night's scrimmage. And offensively, a couple of the younger receivers had big days that they talked about. Who has Demond found the most in camp so far? Moving to the defensive side, as it has been all week long starting with true freshman safety Rylon Dillard-Allen starting bits with receivers like Kevin Green and Omari Evans, today it was receiver Chris Lawson that was happy to take up the baton and figuratively shove it in Ramonz Adams' face. Adams retaliated, some of the freshmen linemen intervened, and just like that - practice was over. Vincent Holmes also engaged in a little something that got an immediate retaliation from some of the offensive linemen. It was good to see Lawson back with a full day of practice under his belt after spending almost all of camp up to this point doing half of practice with the team and the other half conditioning. To finish off the podcast, the guys talked about the special teams work being done, the person of new Special Teams Coordinator Chris Petrilli, how he got to Montlake, and more.
