Happy Mother's Day! Today we were blessed to hear from Pastor Curt AND Jan! They have been married for forty years and have been in ministry almost just as long! Together they walked us through part of their story and how they have navigated their marriage till today. Pastor Curt also walked us through what it means to be vulnerable and intimate as people and in marriage. We encourage you to lean in and take notes on this awesome conversation and message!
On this Palm Sunday we have our very own Estevan Zamora bring the word! Starting in Mark 11, Estevan walks us through the events of Palm Sunday and shows us how Jesus chose the path of humility over the path of power. Jesus was not interested in conquering and establishing an earthly kingdom, rather Jesus was focused on conquering the sin of the world! We encourage you to lean into the message and reflect as you prepare for Easter! Make sure to check out https://renovationphx.com/ for all things Renovation!

Jimmy challenges us to give God our life so that he can do what only he can do! This is a powerful and life changing message! Don't be afraid to lean into what God will want to say and do! This weeks mixtape was brought to us by our very own Ali Gentry Creech! From the start Ali asks us "When was the last time you've been in AWE?" When was the last time you took time to sit and marvel at the beauty and wonder of creation? When was the last time you meditated on the grandeur of God? And maybe more importantly, when was the last time you sat with the scriptures and sat with the wonder of who God is? Starting in Psalm 19 Ali walks us through how we can find wonder not only in the people and the nature around us, but how we can find wonder in the scriptures and in the character of God! When we encounter God with a sense of awe and wonder we can't help but take a posture of humility. It is this posture that allows us to step into a life of holiness, sanctification, and wholeness. At the end of the message Ali calls us to sit and listen to So Will I (100 Billion X) by Hillsong United and meditate on the words of the song. So make sure to tune in for an inspiring message and a time of reflecting on the wonder of God! Here is the video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2U7ffUM5Ec
It's a new year and a time of new beginnings! Many of us have made New Year's resolutions in the hopes of changing and improving our lives. The unfortunate reality is not many of us stick with them and if the statistics are true, January 10th is the day most of us give up on our resolutions. What if we actually stuck with our resolutions? How would our lives look a year from now? How would our walk with God look like by this time next year? In this weeks message Pastor Curt reminds us that we have the capacity to change. Jesus can transform our lives from one of survival to a life where we are thriving! Based on 2 Corinthians 5:14-17 (NIV) Pastor Curt challenges us to live a life compelled by love instead of living a life where we are only reacting to life. Scripture tells us we can change, science tells us we can change, our experience tells us we can change, so what are we waiting for? What if God is waiting for us to take the next step? Tune into this fresh and transformative message!
Today's message was given by our very own Josiah Oslund! This time of year is filled with joy and celebration and all kinds of festivities. It almost seems impossible that anything could go wrong, but we know that life doesn't work like that. Hurt and pain don't stop for Christmas. Sickness, abuse, neglect, and evil don't take a moment to rest. Yet in the middle of our brokenness God reminds us that He will restore everything to its original intent. Our pain and hurt is not wasted with God and it all can have meaning and purpose if we surrender it to God. And as God is restoring us, He invites us to join Him in the restoration process. Near the end of the message Pastor Josiah invites us to take a moment and reflect on how we can practically join in the restoration of all things. These are the questions he invites us to reflect during this season: 1. How can we as individuals and as a community, participate in God's redemptive work during this Advent season? 2. How can we maintain faith and hope in God's promises of restoration when our current realities seem far from whole or peaceful? 3. In what ways can we extend the message of god's restorative love to those who feel outcast or broken in our communities? Listen and lean into how you can join God in the redemptive process this season! Make sure to visit renovationphx.com for all things renovation!
