The WPIAL basketball playoff brackets have been released! Now it's time for our WPIAL insiders — high school sports editor Keith Barnes, writer Brad Everett and the incomparable Mike White to break them down and give their predictions on which teams will stand alone at Petersen Events Center. Did the committee make the right calls in seedings? Who are the players to watch in the tournament? Will some of last year's champions repeat? Or will new ones be crowned? Our trio tackles those topics and more! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
You jump into this episode balancing the reality of working gigs with the mindset that keeps musicians moving forward. From Dave’s recent experiences playing atypical rooms with Bitter Pill to cramming new material for Casual Gravity, you're reminded that momentum matters even when the crowd is small. Always Be Performing is not about scale, it's about consistency. That theme carries straight into the conversation with Laura Whitmore, whose career has been shaped by connecting people, creating opportunities, and knowing when to pull back just enough to build a sustainable life alongside the work. As Laura walks you through the birth and growth of the She Rocks Awards, you hear what it actually takes to build something lasting. It started small, grew through trust and partnerships, and evolved by treating the event like a show, with pacing, flow, and intention. You dig into what real visibility looks like, how to define success on your own terms, and why borrowed platforms are never enough to build a career. The takeaway is practical and clear: start with a big vision, set measurable goals, build community deliberately, and own your audience. This episode is a reminder that longevity comes from intention, preparation, and showing up with purpose, gig after gig. 00:00:00 Gig Gab 520 – Monday, February 9th, 2026 February 9th: National Pizza Day 00:01:00 Dave's Gig Updates Playing atypical venues with Bitter Pill Learning new songs with Casual Gravity Always Be Performing…even for the small crowds! 00:17:10 SPONSOR: Squarespace. An employee is on vacation in the mountains when it happens: “I left my laptop at home.” Instead of scrambling, the employee logs into a virtual desktop from another device, pulling up what looks and feels like their own PC, delivered through the cloud. That simple moment captures how Steve Shimizu describes Omnissa's mission—helping companies enable a digital employee experience that allows people to work from anywhere, on any device, he tells us.For Shimizu, this practical use case reflects a broader evolution in end-user computing. What began with desktop computers moved to laptops and mobile devices, and now extends to “everything” that consumes data—from retail scanners to cars, Shimizu tells us. Omnissa operates at that expanding edge, supporting both physical and virtual endpoints while helping employees stay productive regardless of location. That same blend of flexibility and discipline shapes how Shimizu thinks about the company's growth. Although Omnissa emerged from a carve-out, he resists the startup label. Running a multi-billion-dollar organization with thousands of employees is more like earning a pilot license and being handed a “747” as your first plane, he tells us. Growth matters, but only when paired with financial stability—what he calls “profitable growth.”Finance plays a central role in that balance. Shimizu explains that real partnership comes from moving beyond surface-level metrics and “double-clicking” into the data until it becomes actionable. Just as importantly, finance must revisit those decisions, measuring what worked and what didn't, to guide the company through its next phase of transformation, he tells us.

What do we do when our resolve runs out? When life feels overwhelming and we're just trying to make it through, what do we do then? Join us this Sunday as we close out our "A Biblical Guide to New Year's Resolutions" series and consider together what it means to be Resolved to Persevere in Jesus.
This sermon teaches that prayer is not a way to earn God's love or salvation, but a vital means of staying connected to God through Christ, who already fully secures our salvation. Using the Lord's Prayer as a model, it explains how prayer rightly begins with God's glory, kingdom, and will, then moves to our daily needs, forgiveness, protection from temptation, and trust in God's provision. Ultimately, prayer is presented as both a discipline and a gift—an invitation to deeper relationship, trust, obedience, and dependence on God in every part of life.

Episode Summary In this episode, Doc Danny shares a conversation between Rainmaker coach Jaxie Meth and Mastermind member Holly Navarro. Holly walks through how she built a cash-based practice in a narrow niche (dance medicine), found her first treatment space, grew through community workshops, and scaled into hiring and a standalone clinic location. Try Claire (AI Scribe for PTs) Want to save your clinicians hours every week and increase capacity without burning them out? Start a free 7-day trial of Claire . What You'll Learn How Holly built a real practice around a "small" niche and why narrow can scale What it looked like to start while life was chaotic and still keep momentum How she landed her first space through a simple conversation and community connection Why workshops and "captured audience" events worked to drive early patient volume How to build workshop follow-up so parents actually see the offer (waivers + email drip) When it makes sense to move from a borrowed space into your own standalone location What changed when she stopped thinking small and started building for a bigger life goal Hiring lessons, including why she hired a marketer first and then brought on two PTs Key Highlights from Holly's Story Starting point: 10 years in a small private practice, built a dancer following, ran a side hustle for years, and reached a point of misalignment with leadership and direction. First space: A patient offered a gym space, which gave her a "good enough" setup to build traction without big overhead. Workshops as growth engine: Injury prevention workshops for studios, then more specific body-part workshops (ankle, turnout, etc). She charges studios for dance workshops and lets them decide whether to charge dancers. Parent follow-up system: Uses waivers to capture parent contact info, then an email drip sequence with a clear offer and reminders. Standalone clinic: Moved into a dedicated space once demand grew and the original setup capped expansion. Key lesson: don't think too small, you may outgrow a space faster than you expect. Hiring: Hired a marketer to help amplify hiring and awareness, then hired two PTs (including someone she trusted from a prior clinic). Programs: Rainmaker built the confidence and structure to start. Mastermind brought systems, hiring, and repeatable scale. Workshop Pricing Notes (From the Conversation) Dance workshops: typically charged to the studio (example shared: $400 for 90 minutes) General workshops (for building a new clinician's schedule): may be free or low-cost to increase attendance and buy-in For youth: capture parent email via waiver and follow up automatically, because flyers rarely make it home Free Resource Want a clear plan to go from part-time to full-time in your cash practice? What is your life building? What is it that is truly going to last? Join us This Sunday as we look at what Jesus is building and how He invites us in His great and eternal purpose.
The sermon teaches that we are constantly being shaped by the world's values, so Christians must intentionally return to Jesus—especially the Sermon on the Mount—to let him define how we think and live. Focusing on “blessed are the peacemakers,” it explains that being a true follower of Jesus means reflecting God's grace by loving enemies, refusing to operate by deservingness, and “winning by losing” rather than grasping for power or control. The message challenges listeners to resist scarcity, judgment, and cultural outrage, and instead embody Christlike mercy, reconciliation, and peace in their everyday relationships.
In this message from our Stand Alone series, Neal Glanville explores Jesus' call to “follow me” in Matthew 4, and what it means to lay down independence in order to find true freedom. Through the story of the first disciples, we're invited to reflect on relationships, sacrifice, and the cost — and beauty — of following Jesus. This preach gently bridges everyday life with the radical invitation of the kingdom, reminding us that flourishing often begins with surrender.

In this episode of the NeuroVeda podcast, we sit down with Sujatha Reddy, LPC, BC-TAM, BAMS, a deeply experienced mental health clinician and Ayurvedic practitioner whose work bridges ancient wisdom and modern therapeutic practice. Sujatha is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Ohio, a Licensed Natural Medicine Facilitator in Colorado, a Board-Certified Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine practitioner, certified psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist, holosomatic breathwork therapist, and yoga therapist. With over 35 years of Ayurvedic practice in the U.S. and 25 years in the mental health field, she brings a rare depth of perspective to the conversation. She is the founder and executive director of Ayumind LLC and Heartland Wellness PLLC, and also owns a Humanly mental health franchise in Lakewood, Colorado.Together, we explore the Ayurvedic understanding of mental health as a metabolic and systemic process rather than a standalone diagnosis. Sujatha explains the concept of the koshas, the layers of self, and how disconnection across these layers contributes to anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. She shares how the gunas shape our mental and emotional states, and how practices like breathwork, meditation, mantra, yoga therapy, and personalized Ayurvedic protocols can release stored trauma and restore balance. This episode offers a powerful look at truly integrative mental health care, blending Ayurveda, Western psychology, and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to address root causes rather than symptoms, while emphasizing the importance of resilience, community, and reconnection to self in healing.TakeawaysAyurveda views mental health as a metabolic disorder. The mind is interconnected with the body and spirit.Understanding the koshas helps in addressing mental health.Disconnection from self leads to anxiety and depression.Breathwork can release trauma stored in the body. The gunas influence our mental and emotional states.Personalized programs are essential for mental health.Holistic approaches integrate body, mind, and spirit.Ayurvedic practices can enhance resilience and well-being.Community and social engagement are vital for mental health.

Sermon by Justin Gates on January 11, 2026.Key scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18In 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, Paul reminds believers that the resurrection of the dead is certain because it is grounded in the resurrection of Jesus Himself. He also shows that the resurrection is ordered, with Christ returning first and His people being raised and gathered to Him according to God's perfect plan. Because this hope is secure and future glory is assured, believers are called to encourage one another with these words.

What if eternity isn't escaping this world—but living in a resurrected one, fully renewed by Jesus? For many of us, our childhood picture of heaven looked more like floating on clouds than living in a place that feels real, physical, and gloriously renewed. But Scripture tells a far better story. In Revelation 21, we're given a vision of where everything is ultimately headed—a new heaven and a new earth where Jesus reigns, peace is complete, perfection is normal, and God Himself dwells personally with His people. In this message, we trace the arc from Christmas to eternity, from the birth of Jesus to His promised return. You'll learn what the Bible actually teaches about heaven, resurrection, and the future God has secured for those who trust in Jesus. No more fear. No more pain. No more distance between us and God. Just full joy, full presence, and full life forever.
