It's been 84 yea-I mean 2 1/2 years since our last episode!! Life got in the way so hard it caused us to stop for a while, but we're finally back for season 2!!! This episode is a bit of a catch-up, but mostly our usual discussion of current gaming stuff, as we have stayed in touch regularly since the last episode. Enjoy!

This episode was recorded after the E3 2018 recap episode, and for whatever reason it kept getting pushed. But I still had it, so we may as well release to see how wrong we are about stuff, now that we're in the future! This episode was about battle royale and share world shooters, and this was not long after I got my VR headset. Its old, but enjoy anyway!

What's this? Two uploads in one day?? We felt bad for leaving you all without us for so long, it's time to make it up to you, by talking about our favorite subject! We transform back in to the unofficial Destiny podcast as we discuss everything new since our last Destiny episode, with the Forsaken DLC especially getting the attention it absolutely deserves.

A much needed hiatus was had due to work, of course, but now we are back with our regular bi-weekly schedule! Today we discuss Matt and Brandon's vacations to San Diego and Washington DC, respectively. It seems we had to take vacations at the same time, nearly as far away from each other as we could, and didn't even realize it!!

Our E3 triple-header ends with a full show recap, discussing as much as we could remember, with a fair bit of VR chat at the beginning. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: We just finished watching the Microsoft 2018 E3 Presentation, and recorded this immediately after. We would've waited till Bethesda did their show too, but work night and late, etc etc. Enjoy our review of the MS conference, which we're pretty sure will "win" E3 this year. (claim made about 15 min before Bethesda goes on)

It's that time of the year again!! Time to gather around, be thankful for all you have in your lives, and pray to get what we want. No, its not Christmas.... ITS E3!!!!! Join us as we don't make ridiculous bets that had really bad odds, discuss what we think/hope to see out of the big conferences this time around, and always remember kids...protect yourselves. Hot on the heels of the (probably) biggest movie of all time, we have a lengthy, VERY SPOILERY discussion about Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War!! We delayed the release of this to give everyone a chance to see it, not because Matt is lazy and didn't edit it on time... ... ...yea, we'll go with that. Also, at the time of this recording, Rick and Morty hadn't been pickup for another 70 episodes yet, so there's that.

We've discussed the various generations of gaming in past episodes, but this episode really gets into what made the current and previous gen so special and memorable to us, as so much has changed since the before times, the long long ago.

It's a super jam-packed episode of talking about a bunch of games most of you probably haven't ever heard of!! Or maybe you have, I don't know you.

War....war never changes....unless this is Metal Gear Solid 4, in which war *has* changed....anyway... There's been a longstanding rivalry between Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony, and we get into this rivalry a bit, even going back as far as early computer games from the 80's, old Atari games, and our history with these consoles.

The internet is a dark and scary place. People do really horrible and stupid things for attention, money, fame, revenge... Bad choices seem to be the theme of today's discussion, but there's some positive things in here too, though you wouldn't guess it by this description...

What a year it's been. We planned to recap on a lot of events of 2017, but it mostly turned into a discussion about The Last Jedi, PUBG, and a few other topics. You know, the usual sillyness. Here's to a wonderful 2018!! May it be filled with awesome and more awesome!

Finally....we've teased it long enough. It's time....for the horror episode... Matt's girlfriend Kristine joins us tonight for a discussion about all things horror, mainly movies and video games (of course) just in time for Halloween!!

We are back, with the intention to discuss video game journalism, as is mentioned at the top of the episode, but as is our usual thing, we immediately go off on such a tangent that another title for this episode was warranted. Anyways, we discuss lots about all sorts of things nostalgic for us, especially our hometown mall and the arcades that used to be in it, and we get to that journalism thing, eventually...

We are back with the promised second episode covering the sci-fi genre! Topics include Star Trek, Black Mirror, Brandon being somewhat sleep-deprived, and eating dicks. It'll make sense, I promise.

We know we've discussed Destiny a lot in previous episodes, as it is one of our favorite games, but we usually get into the technical side of things; mechanics behind the scenes, server stuff, etc. This episode we delve more into the lore behind the game, that unfortunately was mostly left out of the actual game, but included in the Grimoire cards online. We also have a little spiel about X-COM 2 and Matt's struggles with it. Enjoy!

Today we have another guest! Our good friend Jason, aka Sim, joins us to discuss his love for conventions, retro game collecting, all manner of rhythm games, that one time he was a rock star on Video Games Live, and we muse over the hibachi and sake we eventually consume later that evening. It's truly a great time for comic book movies what with the MCU and DCCU.....ok well Wonder Woman at least was really good. Also Nolan's Batman trilogy was great. Today we tackle superhero movies, and apologies now for forgetting to mention The Watchmen, its just one I personally haven't seen, so I'd forgotten to bring it up. Also, Matt is the sheep baron, for now...

For once, it's not all about video games! But we are nerds, so here's an episode about Japanese Anime; our favorites, what we watched growing up, subs vs dubs, and even a discussion about AI and how we're all gonna die!! Also, we did go get steak afterwards.

We're back again! This time we mostly talk about RPGs, our personal favorites, break down the differences in the sub-genres, and how we feel the classic RPG of our childhoods is gone forever.

We delve into our histories with Nintendo, with a focus on the Zelda franchise, as we recorded this a few weeks before the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
