Welcome back to Intellicast! On today's episode, Brian is joined by Henry LeGard, CEO and founder of the fraud detection company Verisoul, for an in-depth discussion on the evolving state of data quality and fraud detection in market research. We kick off the podcast by having Henry share how Verisoul, a company built initially to stop banking and fintech fraud, has quickly become one of the most talked-about new players in market research. He details how the company came to be, and how they entered the market research industry in 2025 with zero clients and are now protecting nearly 100 million survey clicks per month across the industry. Henry explains how Verisoul's advanced fraud detection platform has had such a rapid impact on the industry. He shares how the team applied financial-grade fraud-prevention techniques to survey data collection, enabling them to detect and block the most sophisticated forms of digital fraud, including device spoofing, cross-continental proxy traffic, and bot farms operating at scale. From there, Brian and Henry dive into Verisoul's newly released Market Research Quality Report, which Henry describes as the largest fraud analysis ever published in the industry. For the report, the team analyzed more than 50 million sessions across 3,700 mobile apps in 190 countries, using a new proprietary technology that can identify the exact app where each respondent originated. Henry explains how this innovation was crucial in uncovering real patterns of fraud across the ecosystem, revealing which app categories generate the cleanest and riskiest respondent traffic. Brian and Henry also discuss how Verisoul's findings challenge many long-held assumptions about data quality. While larger apps and panels tend to have lower fraud rates, older respondent sources didn't necessarily perform better. The study also found that just five mobile apps accounted for more than 10% of all detected fraud, underscoring how small clusters of bad respondent sources can distort large portions of the industry's data. Later in the episode, Henry offers a perspective on the evolving sophistication of fraud, explaining that much of today's market research fraud is human-driven rather than automated. Organized groups in low-income countries are using SIM card farms, aged burner domains, proxy networks, and more to appear as legitimate U.S. or European respondents. Henry and Brian also talk about how Verisoul's recently launched transparency initiative — a “fraud or not” ranking, complete with a lighthearted tomato-throwing Easter egg for bottom performers, is designed to help the industry recognize who's getting data quality right. Rather than shaming providers, the goal is to encourage progress, reward transparency, and strengthen collaboration around fraud prevention. To close out the episode, Brian and Henry discuss Verisoul's creative marketing campaign, “We Smoke Fraud,” which debuted at the ESOMAR Congress in Prague. A realidade é que muitos se perdem na execução cega de tarefas, seguindo o famoso "atirar para todo lado".Calma, não é a sinopse de um filme de ação, mas o retrato do dia a dia de quem não tem método. Resultado? Um esforço sobre-humano que mais parece roteiro para esgotamento, não para sucesso. Vamos ao que interessa: o método não é só um conjunto de passos; é a espinha dorsal dos grandes líderes. Dominar o PDCA ou qualquer outro método antes de tentar adaptá-lo é como aprender a regra do jogo antes de tentar trapacear. E aí, você tem jogado com as regras claras ou tem sido mais um amador na arte de liderar? A ironia disso tudo é que muitos desses “métodos modernos” não passam de um PDCA com um pouco mais de tempero, ou deveria dizer, um PDCA gourmet? Pense grande, comece com o básico, domine o método e depois faça as adaptações necessárias. E lembre-se, não é só de inovação que vive um líder, mas de aplicar princípios sólidos que resistem ao teste do tempo.⏳E antes que eu me esqueça: hoje à noite tem live! Vamos falar sobre criatividade e aprendizado, porque até para ser criativo, acredite, existe método!

  «Entonces Jesús le dijo: «Bienaventurado eres, Simón, hijo de Jonás, porque no te lo reveló ningún mortal, sino mi Padre que está en los cielos» (Mateo 16:17) ¿Recuerdas cuando fuiste al colegio a aprender el abecedario? Lo hiciste a través de tus cinco sentidos y de tus capacidades lógicas para almacenar y ordenar datos. Esa clase de conocimiento se denomina conocimiento natural, y es al que la mayoría de la gente ha sido expuesta. Pero en el reino de Dios existe otra clase de conocimiento que opera de adentro hacia afuera, en vez de afuera hacia adentro. Se llama conocimiento adquirido por revelación divina. Jesús habló de esta clase de conocimiento en Mateo 16. Él le había preguntado a Sus discípulos quién creían ellos que Él era. Entonces Pedro le respondió: «…¡Tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo del Dios viviente!» Entonces Jesús le dijo: «Bienaventurado eres, Simón, hijo de Jonás, porque no te lo reveló ningún mortal, sino mi Padre que está en los cielos.» (Versículos 16-17). Dicho en otras palabras: "Pedro, tú no recibiste ese conocimiento a través de tus sentidos naturales, sino directamente de Dios". Si alguna vez has recibido esa clase de conocimiento, te habrás dado cuenta de que después de recibirlo empiezas a ver las cosas de manera diferente y a tener una confianza tan firme que, como Jesús le dijo a Pedro, ni las puertas del infierno prevalecerán en tu contra. Pero esas revelaciones no surgen fácilmente. Debes meditar en la Palabra y buscar al Espíritu de Dios para que te las revele porque están ocultas en Él. La Biblia afirma que Dios ha reservado Su sabiduría para los santos (1 Corintios 2:7-9). Nota que dice que la ha ocultado para los creyentes, no de ellos. Dios definitivamente quiere que las tengas. Sin embargo, no pienses que Dios te mandará del cielo grandes revelaciones cuando estés mirando la televisión. Es necesario que lo busques. Si anhelas recibir el conocimiento adquirido por revelación divina, necesitas meditar en la Palabra, orar y estar en comunión con el Señor para que estés en condiciones de recibir ese conocimiento. Empieza a recibir ese tipo de revelaciones; es la clase de conocimiento más emocionante que existe. Vic speaks with Ben and two special guests about their recent papers on ‘outreach simulation', and how they used educational courses on Paediatric resuscitation around rural and regional Qld to understand system challenges faced by these sites. The conversation illustrates the importance of program philosophy, long term relationships and systematic approaches to identifying and following up system challenges.   Alex St-Onge-St-Hilaire is a paediatric emergency medicine physician and co-director of the simulation fellowship at KidSIM, based at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Canada. Alex recently completed a fellowship in simulation education trained with the STORK team   Louise Dodson is a Simulation Nurse Educator with the Children's Health Queensland STORK team. Y tú, cuando hayas vuelto, deberás confirmar a tus hermanos» (Lucas 22: 31-32, RVC).Ayer estuvimos convencidas de que Dios es nuestro «Castillo». Sin embargo, seguramente surgieron dudas en tu mente respecto al porqué del sufrimiento que te ha tocado vivir o las duras pruebas que han golpeado tu vida. Hoy veremos el otro aspecto de esa protección divina. ¿Quién dio permiso al enemigo para tocar a Job? Fue Dios. «Dijo Jehová a Satanás: -Todo lo que tiene está en tu mano; solamente no pongas tu mano sobre él> (Job 1: 12). Y por segunda vez concedió el permiso: «Dijo Jehová a Satanás: -Él está en tus manos; pero guarda su vida (Job 2: 6).En el texto de hoy se confirma que constantemente el enemigo pide permiso para tocar a los hijos de Dios. En esta ocasión pidió a Pedro, un hombre de carácter fuerte y seguro de sí mismo. Sin embargo, Dios no lo deja solo en la prueba, sino que le informa los planes del enemigo. Es importante notar que Jesús no se opuso a que sus discípulos fueran zarandeados, no obstante, rogó por ellos al Padre para que su fe no faltara.Es decir, en medio de la prueba, Jesús intercede por nosotras para que salgamos victoriosas. La orden para Pedro fue, «deberás confirmar a tus hermanos». Esto quiere decir que después de haber salido de la prueba, después de haber vivido en carne propia el ataque del enemigo, ahora Pedro estaba listo para ser un testigo viviente del inmensurable poder de Dios. Y así fue. El apóstol Pedro se ha convertido en la confirmación del poder de Dios que obra en sus hijos que confían en él.Mientras estemos en este mundo, en algún momento de nuestras vidas seremos zarandeadas como el trigo. Es posible que ahora mismo estés derramando lágrimas de dolor y no comprendes el propósito. Es aquí donde entra la fe en nuestro «Castillo». Dios conocía a Job y conocía a Pedro; confiaba en ellos y sabía que podía permitir que el enemigo los probara. Dios te conoce. Dios sabe que puede confiar en ti y ha rogado al Padre por ti para que tu fe no falte. La buena noticia es que saldrás brillando. Continuará...

O rapaz tinha grande admiração por seu treinador e desejava ser como ele. Décadas depois, quando McCullough rastreou sua mãe biológica, ela lhe deu a notícia: “O nome do seu pai é Sherman Smith”. Sim, a mesma pessoa. O treinador ficou surpreso ao saber que tinha um filho, e McCullough surpreendeu-se ao saber que essa figura paterna era literalmente seu pai! Ao se encontrarem, abraçaram-se e Smith disse: “Meu filho”. McCullough nunca tinha ouvido isso antes, mas sabia que Smith “dizia isto com orgulho: ‘Este é meu filho'”, e encantou-se com a situação. Emad Saadeh is an author, lecturer and a counselor for victims of violent crimes. A story of a Palestinian boy who was born in Jerusalem and lived there under Israeli occupation for the first 12 years of his life. His father migrates to the USA in 1973 to escape constantly being arrested and being jailed by the Israelis. The young boy and his siblings are finally reunited in 1978. The sweetness of that reunion is short lived because of his father's physical and mental abuse which drives him to flee his home for the streets of Chicago where he is introduced to the world of Chicago street gangs. He finds himself being arrested many times for his gang activities until he is eventually sentenced to state prison in 1985. In 1987 he is released so he attempts to lead a clean law abiding life but the lucrative drug trade sucks him in and is eventually arrested by the DEA, than after a jury trial he is sentenced to 160 month in federal prison. He is released after almost serving 13 years and finds a changed Chicago with a very disunited family and not much love for each other. 161Se le acercaron los fariseos y saduceos y, para ponerlo a prueba, le pidieron que les mostrase un signo del cielo. 2Les contestó: «Al atardecer decís: “Va a hacer buen tiempo, porque el cielo está rojo”. 3Y a la mañana: “Hoy lloverá, porque el cielo está rojo oscuro”. ¿Sabéis distinguir el aspecto del cielo y no sois capaces de distinguir los signos de los tiempos? 4Esta generación perversa y adúltera exige una señal; pues no se le dará más signo que el de Jonás». Y dejándolos se marchó. 5Al pasar a la otra orilla, a los discípulos se les había olvidado tomar pan. 6Jesús les dijo: «Estad atentos y guardaos de la levadura de los fariseos y saduceos». 7Discutían entre ellos diciendo: «Es porque no hemos cogido panes». 8Dándose cuenta Jesús dijo: «¡Gente de poca fe!, ¿por qué andáis discutiendo entre vosotros que no tenéis panes? 9¿Aún no entendéis? ¿No os acordáis de los cinco panes para los cinco mil?, ¿cuántos cestos sobraron? 10¿Ni de los siete panes para los cuatro mil?, ¿cuántas canastas sobraron? 11¿Cómo no comprendéis que no me refería a los panes? Guardaos de la levadura de los fariseos y saduceos». 12Entonces comprendieron que no hablaba de guardarse de la levadura del pan, sino de la enseñanza de los fariseos y saduceos. 13Al llegar a la región de Cesarea de Filipo, Jesús preguntó a sus discípulos: «¿Quién dice la gente que es el Hijo del hombre?». 14Ellos contestaron: «Unos que Juan el Bautista, otros que Elías, otros que Jeremías o uno de los profetas». 15Él les preguntó: «Y vosotros, ¿quién decís que soy yo?». 16Simón Pedro tomó la palabra y dijo: «Tú eres el Mesías, el Hijo del Dios vivo». 17Jesús le respondió: «¡Bienaventurado tú, Simón, hijo de Jonás!, porque eso no te lo ha revelado ni la carne ni la sangre, sino mi Padre que está en los cielos.

No se trata solo de conocer y respetar sus leyes y enseñanzas; Él quiere nuestro corazón y que desde él le sigamos. Al mismo tiempo, la insistencia del Señor al apóstol por la atención a sus ovejas nos dice que, como ayer, hoy y siempre, sus ovejas son su tesoro. So we have the phone sitting on top, which I'll come back to in a second. And then we have a USB-C cable and a few little pieces of paper, that kind of thing. As with previous models in recent years, there's no charger, but we do have the USB cable and that is all that is in the box.
